I navigated finding the property, parking, hallways, and my room in the dark. Everything felt calm and organized as it could be once I was in the room. I didn't do nighttime entertainment exploring of the resort though due to no power. As a hotel and conference space, it worked very well. The grounds are expansive, the facilities were solid for meetings, and breakfast was enjoyable. I later learned it once housed a recording studio that one of my favorite albums was recorded at (as part of a Playboy Mansion outpost) which makes me curious to return and explore more. Overall, a solid stay -- 4 stars.

The Christmas decorations were nothing short of amazing. Literally Christmas EVERYWHERE. and the kids could climb on anything. They do a cute little Santa letter pick up by the elves every day at 4pm and my daughter loved this. Our suite was nice. Comfy bed. Updated. Highly recommend upgrading to a suite if you can afford it. Room service was just OK, the first night we called it went to voicemail and they never called back. It was odd. The service was so-so. Front desk staff were great. The brunch spot in the lobby had terrible service... they didn't even think to ask we needed a high chair or chair in general for our little one. Just sat us with no seat for her. The bar in the lobby had one bartender. It took 40+ minutes to get drinks. Overall, I'd come back for the nostalgia of Christmas! But I will be going into town more often for services and food.

Every single dish looks amazing and tastes even better! The seafood tower is filled with fresh and unique options and the steaks have a fantastic house blend seasoning. For starters,…read moreit's great to have high-quality restaurants onsite so that we don't have to venture out for meals, it made it feel more all-inclusive just getting to stay on the resort property. It's your standard steak house vibes in terms of ambiance - classic decor with a lot of leather. They have lovely floor to ceiling windows overlooking the golf course and we were lucky enough to be seated right next to them so we had a view. There was a mix of dress wear, some people coming right from a round of golf and others more dressed up, it's definitely 'higher end' feel. Our waitress was lovely, very informative and patient when it came to food & wine selection (a really great wine menu!). We ordered Oyster Rockefeller, the steak special and the scallop meal. The Rockefellers were delicious, it's always one of my favorite things to order! The scallops were cooked nicely, but the dish overall was lacking some flavor. Thankfully it had the pancetta in in it which helped elevate the meal. The steak was cooked to perfection, very tender and flavorful. The convenience of the experience is what truly made the night for us, paired with the good wine & good food we would certainly eat here again when we stay on property.

Although I did not have a negative experience, it just wasn't worth the time or money. Pros -Sauna, steam room, hot tub, and gym included with a treatment -Staff is friendly and polite -Plenty of water, towels, soap, hygiene products -Clean Cons -Pricing -Outdated facility -Small and loud -Cheap/uncomfortable sandals My massage therapist was lovely and I enjoyed the sauna and steam rooms. The actual service was in no way worth the cost. Everything about the resort is overpriced, but I was hopeful the treatment would be worth the expense. It wasn't. I much prefer Kohler for a staycation / wellness trip.

The hot tub water was brown, and the wood on the outside of the sauna was withering away with mold present. The lockers were dated and damaged. The robes were in very rough shape. Every robe had pilling all over. The layout of this spa is very poor, it's very small and compact, making it very crowded. You can tell there have been no updates made to this facility. When we arrived we were taken for a "tour" only to be left in the locker room, it wasn't until 30 minutes in, after just standing around, we learned there was a lounge and relaxation room. There was no convenient way to access this room. We were taken to it through doors labeled "staff only" The massage itself was severely underwhelming. She basically rubbed lotion on me for 50 minutes, there was no skill or technique to the massage. Overall, it was just a very disappointing experience. I will never return or recommend this spa

One of the best restaurants in the Lake Geneva area is a hidden gem on the upper level of the resort, Ristorante Brissago. My wife and I made a reservation for Sunday evening to celebrate my birthday. We were greeted at the door by the hostess. We asked if we could get a table by the window and she graciously accommodated our request. Our server, Tanya, greeted us and asked if we wanted to start with a bottle of wine, or cocktail. After a brief review of the menu we decided to start with a beer. My wife had a Peroni, Nasto Azzurro and I chose the New Glarus Spotted Cow. The bus server brought us a basket of warm bread, olive oil, and shredded Parmesan to get us started. Tanya returned and we decided that a cold night warranted a hot bowl of Minestrone Zuppa soup. The soup was made with vegetables , pasta shells, parmesan, broth , and pesto. A great start that brought the right amount of warmth to the beginning of our meal. Tanya was exceptional. She checked on us periodically and did not rush us to order the next course. I mention this because a lot of restaurants have adopted a policy to seat you, feed you, and rush you out the door. Thank you Tanya and staff for understanding that dining out is an experience to relish and take your time to relax and cherish good food and company. For our entrees I was deciding between two dishes and Tanya suggested the Roasted Branzino. It was prepared with a Potato Fennel Puree, Pomegranate Beurre Blanc, Orange Herb Gremolata. Perfection. It was the most flavorful fish I've eaten in many years. Thank you Tanya for your expert opinion. Bravo! My wife ordered the chicken cacciatore. Her dish was prepared with Roasted Cornish Hen, Cacciatore Sauce, Roasted Potato, Chives. Lighting doesn't always strike twice. Her chicken and potatoes were a bit under cooked. The presentation was beautifully executed; however the dish was good, not great. For dessert we were debating between an espresso martini when another cocktail caught my eye, the creamsicle martini. Amazing martini. It was strong, flavorful, and garnished with a slice of orange. Best cocktail on the menu. Wonderful, sublime, and tasty. Tanya surprised us with a slice of New York cheesecake with a candle and a Happy Birthday placard made with chocolate. Thank you. The cheesecake was amazing. Thick graham cracker crust and a rich New York cheesecake drizzled with Carmel and a side of whip cream, blackberry, blueberry, and strawberry. WOW. Loved it! I'm reminded of an old Irish proverb "Laughter is brightest where food is best". Thank you for bringing laughter, love, and great food to the table.

I was expecting much better quality for the price. It was comparable to eating at a restaurant at a theme park - like you know you're paying way more than you should just because of the location.
