AM Towing; tow service charged for six separate things racking up a huge expense for towing a sedan sized car. I called to discuss rates only because I was confused by all the different rates on sales slip. Owner (Ryan) basically had no voice or input on the matter, he explained everything in three words and sounded bothered that I even called to inquire. My daughters 18 so I felt like towing company may have taken advantage of the situation by charging $500. Inflation is real. AAA let us down. After waiting for over 2 hours waiting for the designated tow company from AAA we went on our own and called AM. They were there in 15 minutes and Cole was kind and helpful. Took our car to the service station and put our key in the drop box for us. Great experience! read more

Called them to repair an air leak on my trailer. They send their guy out and he gets to me quick, as I'm first on the list and they're only a few miles away. At first it seemed to be a bad valve. After about 10 minutes, the mechanic finished and the leak was gone. It ended up being my air lines were frozen and he poured a little antilock down the lines and that did the trick. He writes up the bill and it comes out to $270. $250 is labor and $15 of it is tax. Though the mechanic spent 10-15 minutes on the trailer, they have a $250 minimum on labor. Which they had plenty of chances to mention to me beforehand but didn't. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I know and would avoid this place to anyone ready f this review. read more

We were traveling in our 40 foot motor home is southern Wisconsin and headed back home to Pennsylvania. We could not get several of our large truck tires up to pressure and we were limited in what garages we could ask for help becasue of the size of the coach. We called A&M Towing in Elkhorn and the guys were super nice. They told us to come in the next morning. When we got there they took us right in their big garage to work on our tires. The technician found one air valve that was not wokring correctly. After spending about 20 min airing up our tires, the guy said "You're all done." When I tried to pay him he said "You don't owe us anything." To be treated like this when you're on the road and don't know anybody is very heart-warming. I have never had a better towing event in my life than the one I experienced this past Saturday evening with Amtowing (5/15/2021). I have a 40 ft Class A motorhome and had a driver side steering tire blowout that caused a significant amount of damage to the coach. Amtowing was notified through FMCA roadside service. The towing company sent a gentleman to assess our situation, took photos of the damage, and informed us that because of the design of our motorhome, we needed to replace the tire prior to towing. After the tire was replaced, Rob, the owner arrived and was able to overcome multiple obstacles like broken air brake lines to at least get us to drive to safety off the interstate. With other damaged equipment he was able to determine the back wheels were locked up,and could not be towed. He was able to disengage the drive shaft, made arrangements with a repair shop to tow the vehicle to after hours, and was kind enough to clear out our refrigerator. Rob was one of the kindest, caring, and most mechanically knowledgeable persons I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Nothing but high praise for this towing service. read more

These guys are super nice, from the person answering the phone to the truck driver that gave me a ride to the mechanic shop when I was stranded. The rate was incredibly reasonable IMO. I was actually surprised how reasonable they were. I highly recommend AM Towing! read more
