DANGEROUS BRAKE WORK - AVOID HUNTERS…read more Dropped off my project Jeep in APRIL for new brake lines. Picked it up in June. Shop said some air in the lines is expected and will work out, and they can rebleed. Car was dangerous, foot went to floor. Brought back. Picked up today and inspected the brake lines. Looks like a circus rollercoaster - the line is running OVER the valve cover, the line in back goes in a LOOP, and none of it is secured. THIS IS DANGEROUS. STAY AWAY - DO NOT GET BRAKES DONE HERE!!! THEY WILL HAPPILY RETURN YOU A DEATH TRAP. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU THOUSANDS FOR THIS. DO NOT GET YOUR BRAKES DONE HERE. If anyone is somewhat familiar with brakes, these photos speak for themselves.

After driving the car back to Michigan, the humming noise was unbearable. So I took the car into a local BELLE tire too have the tires inspected. First thing the technician noticed was that each tire was from a separate manufacturer. I contacted the dealership and their answer was by the state of Wisconsin they are only responsible for putting tires on the vehicle with enough tire tread to meet safe driving. Who puts 4 tires from four manufacturers on a 46 K car. Could have been a 1200-dollar fix but the general manager simply told me good luck we did what we are expected to do by state laws. They did not disappoint. I usually go to the dealer, but they ripped me off a ton of money last year. Anyway, the mechanic, Chuck, did a thorough diagnostic test, checked all that could be wrong, test drove my car, and found nothing wrong. I was told it was most likely my driving habits causing the engine light to illuminate. I checked out with Lauren, who was very nice. She explained the findings in detail. She said to bring the car back if the light comes on again. To make the visit even more special, Lauren told me there would be "no charge". Holy Lucky Day, Batman. I was ecstatic. I admit, I cried when I drove away. I'm not usually that fortunate. Veteran's is a treasure. They were honest, fair and professional. If your car is in need of repair, they are the mechanics you can trust.
