In July of 2025 my 2023 Tesla Model 3 Performance began having air conditioning issues. The car…read morewould not cool off. I scheduled an appointment with Tesla service. They could not get my car in for 5 weeks. When I finally dropped the car off in August of 2025, Tesla service told me the issue was road debris damaging the radiator. The car had only been driven on city highways. They stated because of this, the computer overheated. They claimed there was no thermal protection on he computer. The Tesla Technician stated the only way to prevent this from happening again was to purchase an aftermarket mesh grit ill to cover the stock grill. I did this. I had to pay $3,400 to replace the computer on a 2 year old car. Now, 10 months, the car generates errors when trying to engage Auto Steer functionality and the cars cabin overheat protection is not turning on to cool the car. I made an appointment with Tesla service. They assured me that cabin overheat protection is for passenger comfort only and not necessary for the car, even though they had previously stated the last computer overheated due to the air conditioner not working. The warranty on the part is 12 months and 12,000 miles. I've driven 18,000 miles since the repair. So, Tesla is ants to charge me another $3,400 to replace a part they replaced 10 months ago. This is not a "wear and tear" component that should be subject to mileage restrictions. They cannot tell me what caused the computer to fail a second time in 10 months. I cannot keep paying $3,400 every 10 months to replace computer chips. The car is only 3 years old. This repair should be covered by Tesla because clearly they did not fix the underlying cause in August 2025 and as a result of their poor workmanship, the issue occurred again. The part does not degrade with miles driven, so the part should be covered under the 12 month warranty.

I stayed…read moreat a couple of Scottsdale hotels and they were nice and had great staffs but they were old and worn out. Some things didn't work and the showers were just dangerous. My stay at the Best Western was fabulous. They had a great staff and when I called for an early check-in they were happy to accommodate me. This is in no way a luxury hotel but it is clean, it is new, and it's in a safe, quiet, neighborhood. The thing that struck me the most was how quiet it was in our room. I never heard our neighbors shower or toilet or TV. I never heard a door slamming or ice machines or traffic outside. All I can say is that if you want a good night's sleep in a nice clean, safe, hotel with a knowledgeable and courteous staff, don't look any further than the Best Western in Happy Valley. I will be back.

This location didn't rate as high as others so not sure how they got the "Plus" added. The place was very clean. That's always the biggest thing when staying away from home. The rooms were very cheaply done with pressboard furniture and metal springs for the mattress much larger than the mattress. Our TV had terrible sound quality and after a bit, felt it just wasn't worth watching. One big thing for us is a coffee pot in the room. There was none. If you wanted morning coffee, you had to get dressed and walk down to the main area. There were a lot of options for breakfast so the buffet offering was pretty good. What we thought strange (rude) was the fella working the front desk had to be first at making himself a waffle. So, we waited until he had his. Then, one more thing. As we walked to a table we saw a homeless person on the front patio, getting his things together and getting up. Does this hotel allow homeless to sleep there . Whether or not that is the case, it appeared as if they might. I'm giving the 3 stars for the breakfast and the cleanliness. I had to debate whether actually to take it down a notch but didnt.
