For the past several days, I've been stopping by Safeway after work, hoping to order a custom mini cake for my child's birthday. Unfortunately, each time I arrived, the bakery had already closed. Since today was my child's birthday and I hadn't been able to place a custom order, I was fully prepared to simply purchase a premade mini cake. I asked Sandy if she would be able to quickly draw a basketball on top of one of the premade cakes. Instead, she went above and beyond. Sandy brought out a fresh cake and created a special basketball cake right there on the spot! When my child saw the cake, his eyes lit up, and he was overcome with so many emotions! Mahalo nui loa, Sandy, for making my kiddo's birthday extra sweet! You have no idea how much my Ohana appreciates you taking the extra time and going above and beyond to do something so kind and thoughtful for my child. Those were the most memorable places because they had AKSHON! Cosmic candies was another memorable spot! I think when they closed down, that's when the mall changed! Afterwards, kids grew up, adults got angrier, teens dispersed and Kaneohe no longer was FAMILY! It opened up to a new generation. Yet, they still have this mall. Constant changes, new businesses every 3-5 years. None that sticks around. Only a handful didn't leave. Let's hope this place can become a family place again.

It actually was much cooler outside in the lobby and in the mall than it was inside the theater; at least in #5. Also, during the movie, Mortal Kombat 2 (don't judge lol), there was an issue with one of the speakers. There was a loud "banging" noise that I thought was part of the fight sequence soundtrack, but then the level didn't change, and it interfered with hearing the actors dialog... pretty annoying. It lasted for about 5 minutes, then it finally stopped. With the staffing cutbacks (self ticketing, no greeter or ushers, limited concession staff), I know it must be difficult to manage the bldg, but the uncomfortable conditions and sound issue, it certainly doesn't make it enticing to return. The overall movie was okay, notwithstanding the issue, but it's been better.

You can tell their breeder dogs are well cared for, and all of the puppies were happy, healthy, clean, and absolutely adorable. We brought home an 8-week-old Malshi (Maltese/Shih Tzu mix) a few days ago, and he has already become the perfect addition to our family. He's a bundle of joy with a wonderful temperament, and we couldn't be happier. If you're looking for a healthy, well-socialized puppy from people who truly love what they do, we wholeheartedly recommend Oahu Puppies. It was a perfect 20th anniversary gift for each other. Upon entering, there is a table with an ordering menu that you fill out for the ice cream. There are no cones and no "parlor" for ice cream- only written options. The standard flavors of vanilla, creamy strawberry and chocolate are available as base choices. There were two "special" flavors of the day that was kona mud pie and another unique option. You can check off on the menu PER item how you want your ice cream in regards to toppings, syrups, in a cup or bubble waffle, single scoop or multiple scoops, etc. Hubby ordered a boba tea that you don't need to fill out on the menu sheet. I'm personally not a huge fan of boba, but he enjoyed it. The lime grape boba tea was what he ordered. As for ice cream, we ordered the following combinations: -Red velvet bubble waffle "cone" with kona mud pie ice cream and chocolate syrup - Classic bubble waffle cone with vanilla ice cream, strawberries and rainbow sprinkles - chocolate bubble waffle cone with creamy strawberry, oreo cookie crumbs and chocolate syrup The red velvet and classic bubble waffle were my favorite. So you gotta watch for the birds. These chargers are 24hrs. There are lots of restaurants and shops around here. Lots to do while waiting for your car. But there is so much. Your car will be waiting for you. As always be considerate of others. Return to your car when it's done and move to another stall. Watch out for Teslas... They sit there all day!

I usually get the Volcano (butter, furikake, mochi crunch) or Japanese Matcha (kettle corn with butter, furikake, matcha powder, mochi crunch). Those two are my faves. Today, I got the small Volcano $6.59. I'm happy that they always pop fresh popcorn when you order it. I definitely notice the difference. I'm not sure what kind of kernels they use, but the popcorn is always huge and fluffy. The lady who helped me today was very nice and friendly.
