This Tesla Supercharger station is right off of I-270 and at the Francis Scott Key Mall, across from the JCPenney. There are about a dozen chargers but this area is highly congested and there's road construction all along before and after the exit for this station. Nearly every single spot was occupied on a Saturday afternoon (predictably) and thus charging was woefully slow. Why put it at an already incredibly busy mall across from several shopping centers, a hotel, dealerships, and other major landmarks. I prefer the ones that are at a Sheetz---quieter, cleaner, and overall faster. A few other Tesla drivers were not courteous: one didn't stay in his lane (prohibiting someone from parking/charging right next to him), another ferociously backed into the charging spot with a single wrist, and another Tesla Y driver had been idling his vehicle when it was busy and you're not supposed to (idle fees apply, and it's just rude when others are waiting). No wonder people dislike Tesla drivers! I would prefer not to return to this location. read more

Not very Common for a market!!…read more Everything here is exceptional. I love all the fruit, I literally just ate a peach and was so compelled to write about it. The staff, while is mostly comprised of college age hippies are knowledgeable and actually care. The whole store is very clean and the meat counter while very small screams old school home made!! The sausages looked so good I had to buy some, and after cooking them up with some onions and peppers my neighbors above me who are vegans were peeking as they chewed their grass and had to rethink their decisions on eating food that my food eats. There are fresh made sandwiches that they will press for you and give it that grilled awesomeness that only comes when your doing something special with meat and cheese and good bread pressed with 400 degrees of steel resulting in a sandwich that makes you want to light a subway franchise on fire. Now on my most recent trip, covid is rampantly knocking off people so a lot of the fun stuff has been put away. Normally they have fresh cooked food that you can box up hot and take and eat. The selection ranges from American favorites like loaf of meat and spaghetti to Indian food to soups and salads ( spinach salad is good, the dressing makes it the bomb dot com ) and fresh cookies and breads oh my. ( Public Notice: no lions or tigers ) You will spend more money per item here than Walmart. They don't have as good of a selection as Wegman's. They don't have a coupon app thingy that makes you think your saving money like everyone else. But you will feel like your saving baby seals and once you leave and start to load stuff into your vehicle a rabbit will wink at you in a attempt to say thank you. The lesson here is pay more money for food that tastes like food and not canned crap. Yes, we all like to save money, and that's noble. But there is a time to eat your extra long chili cheese coney ( much love sonic ) and there is a time to bite into a peach and feel like your a little kid again and have wonderful sweet juice roll off your chin and life is once again, is worth living. I think this location is a little bit smaller than the one on 7th Street in Frederick. The selection is still great, lots of organic and vegetarian options, I love the juice selection! Lots of juices with 1 or 2 ingredients. I like getting snacks here for my daughter's lunch because they're not filled with junk. It is definitely more expensive than other grocery stores, but they have so many healthy options.

They came out and gave us a good estimate and explained the work that was needed as well as answering all my questions on the installation process. It was also good to know that they have been doing such installations for many years. On the day of service, they showed up on time and completed it without any issues. In short, we were highly satisfied with the overall installation of the wall charger and would recommend them for electrical work without any hesitation.

Then, we also ran 7 20-amp lines to several rooms and kitchen. I also need to run 5 lines of ethernet cat6 cable for my homelab setup and PoE camera. It was a big project and Jayron with his team have exceeded my expectation. Before they started the work, they ran quick checkup and found 3 problematic outlets that my inspector totally missed. When running the 20-amp lines, they minimized the amount of holes on drywall. They also tried to find the transformer for my doorbell but it was gone for good so they helped me run an ethernet wire there for PoE camera instead. They did their best to keep everything clean and vaccum after the work was done. After the first job was done, I asked Jayron for quote to change the high ceiling fan and chandelier. He mentioned he would need to set up scaffolding which made me feel very reassured about his professionalism. During the process, Eduardo and Mateo found out that the box for old ceiling fan was plastic and it was hanging by a small metal piece with just half of the anchor grabbing into a 2x4 wood plank. This could have made the old fan fall anytime but with some miracle the previous owner did not have any accident with it. They replaced it with a metal box and was able to avoid drilling a new hole on high ceiling. Same thing happened with the chandelier. This really shows their professionalism and extensive knowledge compared to whoever install the old fan and chandelier for previous owner. Really happy with their work.

I ultimately chose Sky NRG based on my interaction with her and positive reviews on Google and Reddit. I also preferred a local installer in Northern Virginia, and Sky NRG fit that requirement perfectly. We signed the contract on July 26, and the panels were installed on September 10. Megan handled the HOA permissions, and the installation was completed ahead of schedule when Sky NRG found an opening that suited me. Juan and his team managed the installation with careful attention to the aesthetics of the panel placement. Robert, Sky NRG's CEO, was present during the installation, underscoring their commitment to customer satisfaction. We discovered issues with my existing electrical panel during the process, and Robert recommended replacing it. Based on the quality of work by Juan and the overall experience with Sky NRG, I opted to have them handle the panel replacement rather than seeking other bids. Juan completed the job, and I'm pleased with the result. We received Permission To Operate (PTO) from Dominion Energy on October 28, and since then, we've been consistently exporting energy to the grid. I'm delighted with Sky NRG. They never tried to upsell, were always responsive to my questions, and offered a competitive price lower than other bids. And I am so glad that I did! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our hosts, Betty and Phil. They showed us around the various common area rooms, including a large sitting room, a game room, a dining room, and a the large wrap-around porch. And invited us to use their coffee maker or grab a cold bottle of water, soda, beer or wine from the refrigerator. And then they showed us up to our room. The Queen Anne room is fabulous, with lots of light from the large windows, a King bed, two drawing chairs, an armoire, a sink/dressing area and a separate toilet and shower. Overall I have nothing but amazing feedback on our hosts and our accommodations, but if Victorian decor and dolls aren't your thing or something you'd be amused by -this may not be the place for you. Although in that case, there will be more of Betty's scrumptious chocolate chip oatmeal cookies for those of us that enjoy a truly memorable experience!

Their home is over 100 years old and well kept. Their home is a historic Victorian with a lot of collectable decor. It's fun to spend a night or more here for a cozy and personable experience. We had no problem parking out front. They have snacks, beverages, wine, beer, a library, pool table and a porch out front for a nice breeze during weather appropriate months. The home is about half a mile from downtown where there are amazing restaurants and cute shops.

I prefer mom and pop shops to chain stores. Sometimes it's a bit busy in there, but you do get very personalized attention. I took 2 lamps to be repaired there and they charged me only $20 apiece. I also took a chandelier to have some work done and get cleaned up, and they did a beautiful job at a very fair price. It was far less than I expected. I needed a light for a powder room and was trying to decide on a couple. They took down the display models, wired them so I could plug them into an outlet, and let me take them home to check them out in my bathroom. They didn't charge me anything to do so! It's a good thing I did take them home, because the one I thought I preferred would nit work out there. So it was good I had the back up. That one also happened to be on sale, and I got a much better price than I expected. I bought a ceiling fan as well. Upon installing it, the motor wasn't working properly. The store ordered another to replace it. Again, they were very helpful and offered to replace it immediately.

I've never had an occasion to be in one, however, until I recently picked up some cool vintage lamps at auction that needed re-wiring and shades. After checking out Yelp and inquiring with friends, I was pointed to Frazier Home Lighting, so I loaded the lamps up and off we went. The shop is located on a busy section of Lancaster Avenue, in a sort of industrial/mercantile area. They have a parking lot with plenty of spaces, and multiple doors you can go in, and it doesn't seem to matter too much which one you use. I was greeted quickly by Janice, and explained to her what I was looking for. The lamps, each weighing about 20 pounds, were still in my car and she quickly told me to pull up right next to a door and sent one of her employees to bring the lamps in for me. She asked what color my table was so we could choose wire color (dark brown), asked if I had the "globes" - what I had was what I brought so I said no - and told me to come back in a week. Okey dokey. So a week later I go in. They have my lamps, they have one 'globe' which turns out to be a glass piece that encircles the bulb. I had no idea this was even part of the lamp, they are an unusual make and they don't come to auction often. They showed me how the globe fits and they also had the correct size bulb, as again, these are older and the socket is different. Then they went with me over to shades and worked with me to find a shade I liked - even offering to have me take some shades home to see how I liked them. I found one I liked and they loaded me up. Paid, no problem, one globe is on order, they will call me when it's ready. I'm SO glad I didn't just try to go get a rewiring kit as friends suggested. I would never have known about the missing piece, and it makes a difference in how the lamps distribute light. So thank you Home Lighting for your expertise and excellent service. Definitely worth the trip to Frazer and the cost to have these handled professionally.

It is certainly overwhelming to consider the scope and scale of a new build, and to think about what you would like the lighting to look like and how you would like it to function when the space doesn't even exist. We had the absolute best time working with Josh. First, he helped us hone our aesthetic vision, and to build cohesion into the lighting design. He also helped us wrestle with the technical challenges of recessed lighting in high slope ceilings. Through the entire process, he gave us the confidence we needed to easily make decisions and to put the vision into action for our home. Throughout the entire process, Josh was highly responsive, he communicated with clarity, and he had a fantastic sense of humor, challenging each of us appropriately when we were stuck in some kind of rut. His efficiency is remarkable and his design eye and skill is obvious. On top of all of this, he produced documentation that clearly conveyed the plan to our electrician, making our recent electrical walkthrough the best one he had ever been on. The electrician told us that most of the time people arrive with little to no clue of what they want, and it is a laborious, frustrating and overwhelming process. We arrived with our Josh plans and knew exactly where things were going to be and what they would look like. We are very excited to see this house come into reality. We know the lighting we selected will bring warmth and beauty to to spaces, both interior and exterior, and we feel that Dominon and Josh provided great value to us and our project.
