Great supercharger location! Even with all stalls taken, charge to 80% from 20% was just over 20 minutes! Located at the Carlsbad outlets Starbucks and Blaze Pizza are within 100ft of the superchargers.

We stopped at the supercharger at the Carlsbad Outlets on the way to SD because my husband wanted a quick rest break before continuing on. I also was worried about my SOC since the hotel we were staying at did not offer EV charging. All the stalls were full on a Sunday morning but I found 2 stalls that were unoccupied since they weren't by the others. These were next to some handicap spots by a ramp next to the outer perimeter of the parking lot. I figured while I was charging, I could grab some coffee too. My dog needed a pee break too so we walked along the parking lot. FYI, if you're charging above 80% when the superchargers are full, Tesla will charge you an extra fee, the first time offence is waived. We were there maybe 25 minutes. This is a great central location with lots of parking and space. If a spot is taken you could move your car to a different spot while you wait. For the most part, the stop was completely unnecessary but if you need to grab a coffee, use the restroom, and stretch your legs while you charge, this place is perfect.

Great location off of I-5. There's a Blaze Pizza, Jersey Mike's Suns, Rubios, Starbucks. Plenty of restrooms if you need to go. The superchargers can get pretty packed because people driving from LA to San Diego usually stop here to charge up. There were about 5 cars waiting when I arrived. I waited about 5 minutes. The wait time on the Tesla screen was said "Medium Wait"

Drove down from LA to visit friends in Carlsbad. More than enough juice to get there but not nearly enough to get home (an old model X). Drove over to the Superchargers at the Premium Outlets. Two stalls available on the lower level (same level as the stores). Just behind those stalls, up a small hill, there are about 20 Tesla stalls. When we got there, at least half were empty (mid-week, mid-afternoon). No problem getting enough electrons to make it all the way home. Only gripe - with half the stalls open, a woman in a new Model 3 pulled in to the stall next to mine. Slowed down my charging rate. Oh well, I wasn't in a hurry anyway.

Busy at the outlets on a Monday!

Another great location for Tesla Superchargers. The location in is in the Carlsbad Outlets closest to the garden/nursery. You really can't miss it. It is away enough from the crowds yet close to the Sbux, Blaze Pizza and another eateries and shops. Mind you, this is off the 5 freeway and close to Legoland. Come shop and charge up!

It looks like an abandoned shopping plaza besides the equinox at the entrance of the unnamed road and the wine and cheese place at the end. We came when the sun was setting and even though there were plenty of chargers open on the second level, it gave me a spooky feeling. We ended up walking around the entire plaza before finding the restroom lol and the restroom entrance ended up being to slight left from the second level location where we were parked at. I attached a photo of it. I remembered the code probably until half way around the block and by the time I found it, I had forgotten it and the husband had to retrieve the code in the car I was joking with him saying if I was trying to get away from a bad guy, I'd end up dying at the restroom door from not remembering the code. I was expecting the bathroom entrance to lead directly into a restroom stall. Nope, there's a small entrance, down a few steps followed by a small hallway and the restroom was at the end of the hall. Though very "temporary" in appearance, I was very thankful to even have a restroom to use while I charged. The forests and shrubbery surrounding the charging station is also kind of spooky. Needless to say, I am a city girl. Very used to having charging stations in the middle of malls and shopping plazas. Nice pit stop but... I wouldn't wanna come alone when the sun goes down.

Legoland, the Disneyland alternative in Southern California. Amazing theme park for teens and young…read moreadults. I myself am in my 30s and I felt like I was too old for it, but I enjoyed the rides nonetheless. 1. Galacticoaster- 5/5 similar to space mountain at Disneyland but faster and more intense, it's their newest ride with the longest line, but I purchased their $170 fast pass that had 5 minute wait to save time on a busy day. Not worth it unless it's spring break or summer for the fast pass. Top 3 best attractions there. 2. Emmets flying adventure ride - 5/5 best attraction at park, it is like a journey ride where you are lifted in an 8 row seat across into a platform that allows you to watch legos in a sky city traveling through clouds. 3. Technic Coaster - 5/5 top 3 best ride there. Most intense ride with strong g forces on the drop. It's like crazy mouse coaster but more intense. Mainly for thin or small people due to small restraints. I'm skinny so fit just fine in it. 4. Ninjago - 5/5 top 5 ride at park, adventure ride with points to hitting Lego ninjas, it's a game ride and line can be long, go to it first as it is near entrance. Fun family sit down shooter for points. Great music and ambiance. 5. Coastersaurus/dragon coaster - 4.5/5 similar coasters, but for teenagers. The coastersaurus goes around twice but is short, the dragon coaster is a unique themed dragon coaster, very fun for families. 6. Coast cruise - 4/5 river boat ride with commentary, relaxing but can be hot on a summer day. It was alright, not that special but relaxing, basically "it's a small world" from Disneyland but outside. The rest of the attractions are below a 4/5. So about 5-6 rides are great. I will make honorable mention to the submarine ride, but it was like a 4/5. You go underwater in submarine and find treasure. It was decent but I would say Disneyland has a better submarine ride. Other notable mentions are that the food there is not great, my friend and I ordered hamburgers and fries, they really need better food. This place was by the galacticoaster. Below the galacticoaster has disco drop kitty and there are ramen and other restaurants in that area near emmets flying ride but I reckon it is unhealthy. An amazing family theme park overall, I enjoyed it more than Disneyland due to less crowd but also same or similar quality rides and the quantity of rides and Lego stores and activities were great. Parking lot was massive and a very odd scenery of Lego castle front. The sea life aquarium was amazing! I enjoyed touching the starfish, sea anemone and sea urchins along with looking at jellyfish glowing. Definitely a great addition. I want to come back in the future after 30 years since my last visit. Definitely worth going to when it's not busy otherwise, you're forced to purchase the fast pass which can be expensive for $170. You get on all rides at least with it guaranteed regardless of the overpacked crowds we witnessed that day we went.

Now all of a sudden the other days had to be used within 60 days of first visit. I'm not able to put into words how tragic this is to my 3 kids. I'm trying to console them while I spent 25 mins calling Legoland and NEVER being able to get to speak to an actual human. All this aside, Legoland is the biggest waste of money. It is absolutely the most boring amusement park in existence. There's barely anything to do without spending extra money. The rides are only fun for kids under 3 but you have to be taller than a 3 year old to go on any of them. The food is like cardboard. The displays are ugly and definitely not worth the cost of admission. Shame on legoland for misleading consumers, for traumatizing my kids, and for stealing my money. Same for Costco to allow this to happen to their members.

Since life has been a little crazy, I was unable to book a room until last minute. Somehow this resulted in a very cheap stay in an ocean view king room. The hotel was clean, safe, had accessible parking, and large comfy beds (though their pillows could use an upgrade.) The lobby and outdoor spaces are beachy, with several private patio areas for those looking to linger in the California sun, or go for a swim in their resort style pool. It's also directly across the street from the prettiest beach. Sadly my trip was a turnaround, but I was excited to catch a glimpse of the ocean from my hotel room the next morning. The main reason I chose to dock a star is because my shower was all out of soap, conditioner, and shampoo. Normally I'd bring my own, so I was extra bummed to find these empty.

The room hardwood floor smelled like animal feces, so because it is late, we asked the staff to take care of this the next morning. The grounds are nice and there are many families visiting for Spring Break. The highlight of the property is the lobby. It is very pretty, comfortable, and well decorated.

Golf course maintenance crews are up and at it, around 6:30 in the morning(!!). Needless to say, we didn't get much sleep and, when asked to change rooms, they were booked and had nothing available for us. As for dining... "room service" is a joke where you order online, get charged $40 for them to bring it to your room and, it's cold by the time it gets there. We had Easter brunch at Vue which was just ok. I got the eggs Benedict which, when cut open, revealed clear runoff of barely cooked egg - instantly made my hunger disappear. My husband's breakfast, the chorizo scramble, and son's breakfast, pancakes, were totally fine and edible. For the amount of money it is to stay here, I think it's 1000% overrated and we'll skip it next time we're in SD, for sure. There's really no need to come here.

The vibes here feel like more of a casual mall with the food and iced tea shops having more people in line for than any of the retail stores. However.. I was able to find a great deal at one of the stores! Still worth walking around to look and browse through some stores.
