It looks like an abandoned shopping plaza besides the equinox at the entrance of the unnamed road and the wine and cheese place at the end. We came when the sun was setting and even though there were plenty of chargers open on the second level, it gave me a spooky feeling. We ended up walking around the entire plaza before finding the restroom lol and the restroom entrance ended up being to slight left from the second level location where we were parked at. I attached a photo of it. I remembered the code probably until half way around the block and by the time I found it, I had forgotten it and the husband had to retrieve the code in the car I was joking with him saying if I was trying to get away from a bad guy, I'd end up dying at the restroom door from not remembering the code. I was expecting the bathroom entrance to lead directly into a restroom stall. Nope, there's a small entrance, down a few steps followed by a small hallway and the restroom was at the end of the hall. Though very "temporary" in appearance, I was very thankful to even have a restroom to use while I charged. The forests and shrubbery surrounding the charging station is also kind of spooky. Needless to say, I am a city girl. Very used to having charging stations in the middle of malls and shopping plazas. Nice pit stop but... I wouldn't wanna come alone when the sun goes down.

You have more value to pump before 9am and after 9pm. Im pretty good at charging my car at decent rates. I don't ever see service out here fixing these pumps, not like electrify america! Its not typically broken so there's no service to be requested. I do like that about elon.. he has a good company, although fsd almost took me to a center retainer wall this morning! My first room was adorable. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I love the unique layout of the rooms. I also enjoyed the pool, complimentary member drinks, and the overall property. That first evening I called for a wine opener and was told someone would bring one up, but nobody ever came. I eventually went downstairs to get one myself. Not a huge deal, but unfortunately it became the first of several instances where I was told someone would follow up and nobody did. The next day was great. I enjoyed the pool and a fitness class and had an amazing bartender. I was having such a good time that I decided to extend my stay another night. That's when everything went downhill. My new room was EXTREMELY hot. Maintenance came up and said it was 78 degrees and that there appeared to be an HVAC issue. After waiting around 40 minutes I ended up sitting in my car because the room was so uncomfortable. The front desk moved me to another room and told me a manager would call regarding compensation. Nobody called. Later that evening I returned to find the replacement room incredibly hot as well. It honestly felt cooler outside. I was told they would send somebody right up to get me moved again. Thirty minutes later, still no one. At this point it was around 10:30 PM, I had already switched rooms once, and I wasn't willing to pack everything up and move into a THIRD room with no guarantee the AC would work that late at night. I decided to check out and find another hotel. Unfortunately, the evening manager made the situation even worse. Instead of being understanding, he was rude and dismissive and pointed out that I had previously agreed to switch rooms. Yes, I agreed before waiting over 30 minutes with no one having shown up. I was told they would check me out and a manager would contact me regarding a refund. Nobody did. I called the next day and was again told someone would call me back. Nobody did. I finally called again the following day and reached someone who resolved the situation. Initially, I was only offered a waived resort fee, which I found unreasonable considering I paid nearly $500 for a room without functioning AC, moved rooms once, and ultimately had to leave late at night and pay for another hotel. After several calls the issue was finally resolved, which I appreciated, but it should not have taken that much effort. It's frustrating because there is so much I genuinely love about Omni La Costa. The property is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, the adults only pool is fantastic, and they offer tons of activities and fitness classes. I've stayed here multiple times because I enjoy the resort. Unfortunately, the customer service during this stay was seriously lacking. Between the HVAC issues, lack of follow through, repeated promises of callbacks that never happened, and the attitude of the evening manager, the experience left a really bad taste in my mouth. I still think it's a beautiful resort, and most of my previous stays have been wonderful, but this particular stay was extremely disappointing.

The pool wasn't crowded but we struggled to find a chair that wasn't reserved with a towel; we spotted 1 empty chair under an umbrell, as we approached a young gentleman grabbed the chair at took it across the pool to the umbrella his family was under. Lol. Okay. We just sat our things on the concrete under the umbrella hoping it wouldn't be long and enjoyed the pool. After checking a couple times and our encounter with the OTHER, older front desk lady; our room was ready at 4. That's check in time. The room was large and pretty nice; we did notice the floors were a bit "damp". The little patio with the chairs and view, very nice. We were able to hear the live music coming from marina bar as we were sitting outside of our room taking in the view. We took out a paddle boat that was complimentary at check in. The lake itself is very nice, pretty peaceful considering it sits smack-dab in the middle of a neighborhood. What makes my review a 3.8 isnt the accommodation. Recommended. Its front desk staff, in particular the second one i mentioned. She should enjoy her job more.

My problem was that there were dead ones in cobwebs that weren't cleaned by the staff. We ended up checking out a night early and leaving to go back home. Pros: close to a few local restaurants and Almalfi and brickmans is great. We went and had dinner at brickmans that night and that was enjoyable and it's a lake view.
