Terrible. Supposed to be a 250KW station. Getting 50 at low charge with nobody next to me.

50 kw hr. So slow! My house pulls 47! The bakery closes at 5 on Sunday's so there isn't even a place to go to the restroom!

Look for the charging bays in the northeast corner of the Collin Street Bakery lot, near the access road and adjoining hotel.

Ok, I promise I won't be the kind of reviewer who rates EVERY Supercharger five-stars just because: Free electricity! But I will in this case. Don't know what a "Supercharger" is? See: https://www.tesla.com/supercharger This location is exactly what you'd need in an EV charging spot while travelling: convenient location, quick access from/to the highway, a cooperative business partner, parking spots not likely to be blocked by vehicles not needing a charge... First, the location is in a crucial spot. Going north to Dallas? You may need a break/charge if your last stop was the San Marcos SC. Going east to Shreveport? This is where you'll jump off the interstate to take the backroads to Tyler/Longview and beyond. Southbound, it will get you full-ish to get your the rest of the way to Austin (or to the San Marcos SC if you're going further than that). Second, it's location right on the access road is quick to navigate. Heading northbound, it is right off the Waco Dr./Bellmead Dr. exit. From there, you're likely to be taking Texas 31 if headed east, or be right back on to the interstate. To get to the northbound interstate after charging, you can exit the back driveway, and head south half a block before connecting back to the access road and then the entrance to Interstate 35 northbound, or just wait at the Texas 31 light before getting back on. If going southbound, a quick jaunt on the northbound access road will take you to a turnaround, where you won't have to stop at any lights to continue your journey. I didn't realize that the Collin Street Bakery was a historic business, with several locations, that was founded back when fruitcake was apparently a good thing to give someone you liked. I've been to three Superchargers partnered with CSB. At this location, I found the food choices diverse (well, that's for another review), bathrooms clean, and a nice sign offering a tea or coffee to anyone there for a Tesla charge. We didn't always take them up on that offer, but it was a good showing of support. And especially at this location, the staff was super-friendly. Lastly, the placement of the charging parking spots, at the farther side of the parking lot, reduces the chance that someone will "accidentally" park their non-charging vehicle there, and block the spots. If you put them too close to the door, it is likely that someone will park there despite signage saying not to. Even someone pulling a trailer or a bus would probably not park there (across several spots). But at least unlike other locations at hotels or shopping malls, they would probably be easy to find. So, I'll give top marks to THIS supercharger location, deducting only because outside the bakery's hours of 7am-8pm (11am-7pm on Sundays), there isn't really a place here to take a potty break while charging. 4.6 stars!

Convenient, fast, and a tasty stop in the Collin Street Bakery parking lot! Can't beat that. Will definitely stop by again.

You can check in at 3 PM with no surcharge. I am a rewards member and never had an issue checking in early. It should not matter if I am a rewards member or not. Got my room keys then went to my room after checking in there was a mist in the air, a maid shows up an said this room was out of service. Needless to say back to the front desk, where we were assigned another room, I requested to have the manager come speak to me about the early check-in procedure. Needless to say the manager never showed up and eventually I found out he was never informed. You must request service for you room at the front desk hopefully they write it down, came back at 4 PM and the room was not cleaned at around 6 PM the manager showed up and apologized for the screw ups of his front desk staff. We shall see how this goes the rest of our stay here. We are staying 8 days and only half way thru the stay. Breakfast was not great mediocre at best, if you like watery egg hits and grits you are in like Flynn. Just not a large selection of choices for breakfast. Checked out with no issue, Manager did me a solid and did not share me a pet fee for my stay so I can assume it was because of the mess up with the room cleaning. Liked the place and conveniently located for the base and many options for eating.
