Temple Buc-ee's
Carrie M.

I love this Buc-ee's. I didn't used to like this chain very much, but being in Temple has made me fond of it. I want my med school gala to be here. It's huge and overwhelming and overstimulating. It's the epitome of America/Texas. Big and unhealthy. We came out of our way to get some snacks and drinks to sneak into the movie theatre. Their fountain drinks and Icees are so cheap. I like their pulled pork sandwich.

How does a gas station become a tourist spot??!! Buc-ee's has succeeded. Massive facility. So many pumps. Long car wash. The food choices are incredible. Also very good espresso. Had to also get some souvenirs for the family including the dog. They have items priced to encourage purchasing.

I heard a lot about this place for the last few years that I had to make my way out when I knew we were doing the drive from Austin to Dallas! There's a lot of things I'd recommend you don't miss - the chopped beef brisket sandwich was a hit for me, ate it 3 different times hahaha I posted a bunch of merch we liked, but also don't miss all the beef jerky they offer!!! I highly recommend stopping if you're lookin for the best gas station stop you'll ever have!

Longest bathroom line ever, but likely due to Thanksgiving weekend.

Typical Bucees, but very very crowded in a Thanksgiving holiday weekend. I wouldn't go here in a holiday. The bathroom line was out to the END of the building, just wow and see the photo I took for validation. Nevertheless, the checkout lines were not long at all. Good planning Bucees!

What can I say about Buc-ee's that hasn't already been said? But holy cow... this place is something else. You don't just stop here, you experience it. Every time I walk in, I end up meeting some of the coolest people -- folks who will straight-up spark a conversation with you about how awesome this place is, like we're all part of the same little roadside cult. The place is spotless, like they hired an entire military unit whose only mission is to keep the floors shining. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and honestly feels like family the way they greet you with that "we got you" energy. And let's talk about convenience... the gas is cheap, the lines move fast, and they somehow have everything you need and everything you didn't even know you needed. Snacks, drinks, gear, gifts, food, merch -- it's like Target, a BBQ joint, and an airport gift shop had a baby and taught it Southern hospitality. This is the only stop I make on road trips. Buc-ee's never misses

Words of wisdom you can take home along with myriads of snacks, food, candy, drinks, etc.

Always a great travel stop. The best. No one does it like Buc-cee's with great fuel prices, clean restrooms, and more food than you can imagine. If there is a snack, Buc-cee's has it, and then some. Hot food, cold food, junk food, healthy food, BBQ brisket, smoked turkey, pulled pork, fudge, kolaches, scones, cookies, candied corn, and beaver pellets... Souvenirs, crafts, pickled green beans, pickled okra, pickled eggs, clothes, hunters' supplies, deer corn, more and more. You have to experience Buc-cee's at least once. No other travel stop will look the same.

Buc-ee's! Buc-ee's! Buc-ee's! This is the second location I've visited. It's super spacious and clean. This was a short pit stop on my way to the state fair in Dallas, so I didn't get any snacks. However, I did pick up a brisket egg taco for breakfast, and it was delicious!

Who doesn't love Buc-ee's? I was in Killeen and noticed Buc-ee's wasn't too far from where I was, thought I thought I would detour a little to get gas, and shop for some Buc-ee's goodies. I love the Mud Pie ceramics they have. Kitchen Lodge cast iron pans, and cute mugs and so on. I didn't get any snacks this time. I had just eaten lunch. Check out was quick. My cashier was funny, and friendly.

Chopped brisket sandwich - A chopped brisket sandwich with dark, shredded meat is held up in front of a Buc-ee's convenience store. The store's large sign with the Buc-ee's logo and name is visible on the building's exterior behind the sandwich. The photo appears to be taken from inside a vehicle, with reflections on the window and parked cars in the background.

I came up from Austin, TX just to get the bohemian garlic beef jerky!! And had to make the bathroom stop! And get a Vanilla Coke!! (Yeah this is one of my treats I don't normally drink) and of course their chopped brisket sandwich!! It's worth the drive yall!!

First time seeing a Buc-ee's! It's enormous! They have many many flavors of soda but only a couple of sugar-free options. Was hoping they might have a sugar-free slurpee, but they did not. Then I thought, well I'm in Texas, I should get iced tea but then they did not have sliced lemons. I saw a number of people getting the iced coffee so I went with that but upon the first sip, it really wasn't very good so I wasn't able to take it my usual black and had to add creamer. They do have a ton of creamer, syrups and other flavors which seems to be the Buc-ee's way to make up for the bad coffee. The bathroom was just okay, not as good as Maverick. It was interesting that it's also a shopping destination. I'd never seen carts at a gas station before. There's a large gift shop akin to what you'd find at Cracker Barrel. The roasted nuts were pretty tempting. They were also assembling pulled pork sandwiches in the middle of the store but as a vegetarian, they certainly weren't catering to me. Around the pumps and in the parking lot is really disorganized. Needs stop signs, lanes, and/or crosswalks. Too much just open pavement, not clear who has right of way. Interesting novelty but I wouldn't go out of my way to go to another one. I also don't understand the no-truckers thing, why make a stand on this? Overall, it's not bad but the fandom had led me to have high expectations that ultimately weren't met.

Buc-ees has gone from really good to very inconsistent. One of the few places to have Dr Pepper Zero on their fountains (one of four at least), it's only actually in stock half the time. Nobody can seem to figure out it repeatedly sells out and order and stock enough to keep it flowing. They used to be the best in terms of customer service - their fast growth seems to have them resting on their laurels.

Multiple gas station pumps, car wash, Gift Shop with Buccee's souvenirs. They have a restaurant inside with numerous selection of hot foods such as: pulled pork brisket sandwiches, club melt, chicken sandwiches, chicken strips with Beaver chips and Buccees dipping sauce. They also have cheesesteak burritos and fajitas! They have a treat counter where they make fudge and pastries on the spot. Plenty of home good stuff to buy!

Always a great stop at Buc-ee's in Temple. The store is incredibly clean, well organized, and fully stocked with plenty of snacks, drinks, and travel essentials. The staff are friendly and the whole place runs efficiently even when it's busy. A perfect place to stop, stretch, and grab something good on the road.

Found a penny maker machine in back of store by kids stuff.

Do they take Apple Pay with the apple card you know the metal one from Mastercard?

I have only been there once when I was visiting/on vacation but I'm 99% sure they take Apple Pay/Master Card

Do y'all sell firewood?

Yes they do. Most locations have it available.

Is there plenty of truck parking?

No you're not allowed to bring your tractor or trailer to Bucky's and I agree because I am a truck driver and I stop at all the flying Jay's and all the loves and all the TNA truckstop's and we totally trash those places the parking lots are always… Read more

Having…read morebeen a loyal customer for at least two years, I have witnessed a significant decline in the quality of their services. My most recent experience left me utterly dissatisfied and compelled to share my frustrations. Firstly, I paid a hefty sum of $34.99 for a comprehensive car wash, including interior vacuuming and a thorough wipe-down with armor all. Regrettably, it became apparent that the car wash had failed to meet even the most basic expectations. Upon entering my vehicle, I noticed several mats still tainted with what appeared to be unsightly white bird droppings, indicating a blatant lack of attention to detail. Moreover, my front navigation screen remained untouched, as evidenced by the visible layer of dust accumulated on its surface. It is disheartening to receive such subpar service, especially considering that my car was not even that dirty to begin with. To make matters worse, the entire process was completed hastily within a mere five minutes. Cleaning the interior of a car and ensuring a thorough job cannot be accomplished within such a brief timeframe. I entrusted the team with a simple task of vacuuming my front mats and wiping down the interior, which should not have required extensive effort. It is abundantly clear that their rushed approach fell far short of the mark. My overall experience at this car wash has been nothing short of a waste of both time and money. For the premium price I paid, I anticipated a level of service commensurate with their previous standards. Sadly, my expectations were shattered, leaving me frustrated and angered by the lack of professionalism displayed by the team. In light of this drastic decline in service quality, I find it difficult to recommend this car wash to anyone seeking a reliable and thorough cleaning. I implore the management to reevaluate their procedures, instill a renewed commitment to excellence, and restore their reputation as a reputable car wash establishment. Customers deserve better than what I have encountered, and I hope that my feedback serves as a catalyst for positive change. Update: James D asked me to email below. I did so and after 3 weeks have receive no response back.
