EDITED 3/4/18: This was a 5-star review because I love Tesla, however, my minor comment about Tesla's hiring methods (of age discrimination) got a lot of feedback from a lot of people on social media across the nation who had the same experience, and I now realize this is a serious problem across the board for this company, so I can't, in good conscience, give a good review until they start hiring more people older than 25-30. I don't think they intentionally discriminate, so much as follow some lame Silicon Valley HR prescription of "how to hire people" that just happens to weed them out. Still, if they don't fix this sooner rather than later, I'm afraid it is going to hurt them.

Such a pretty location - nice to get a look at the cars on the way in to the movies. It's more like a museum of cars. In a way the location is a drawback, so many non-buyers leaving fingerprints. More business for my waterless car wash sales. :)
Well, I guess I agree with the negative comment below about their employee's not always being knowledgeable (still it's hard when your product is on the cutting edge) -- I am a long-time Signature Model Tesla owner, been on nation-wide road trips and changed everywhere from campgrounds to the top of Mesa Verde (a Tesla-dedicated charger at the highest elevation!) Sped in Wyoming (120!) Camped out in Death Valley in the back of my Model S (turning on the heater and rolling open the moon roof with my phone app while I lay in the back with my daughter) -- and I've been a mini-van Mom in my X. Been on multiple Tesla Social Events - member of several Owner Clubs. Yet I was really serious about getting that showroom sales job and I was not hired.
Elon, if you are listening, throw away the mandatory "modern" (snobby, Northern-California techie) HR guidelines about asking potential employees where they want to be in 20 years (retired, of course) or what kind of tree they would be (not that question but I felt like that was) and OPEN YOUR MIND -- you've got to hire some old, not particularly beautiful and slender, not particularly "career-oriented" people if you want people actually experienced with the car. Fact.
STOP MAKING THE PRIMARY INTERVIEW QUESTION "WHAT IS YOUR RECENT RETAIL EXPERIENCE?" I don't know ANY current Tesla owner who has that (unless it is as an owner of a retail establishment, in which case why would they need a job as a salesperson?!)
If you really want knowledgeable people, hire people who have been independently wealthy, entrepreneurs or out of the work force for years, who are now struggling, due to divorce or whatever, and need a job but are not willing under any circumstances to give up their beloved Tesla. Owners who would rather stand on their feet all day long telling people about this incredible machine than give it up.
Oh, right. I pretty much do that anyway for free. :)
