I had an awful experience with the Tesla service center in Doral, FL.
My Tesla Model 3 has serious noises coming from the front steering, knocking sounds from the suspension, creaking when turning, etc. I drive Uber. The most incredible thing is that people get in amazed to be riding in a Tesla, but they get out surprised and confused by all the noises, which make it sound more like a horse-drawn carriage than a high-tech vehicle.
I took the car to the service center this past Monday. They told me the inspection would take one, maybe two days. The delivery date was set for Tuesday at 6:30 pm. During those two days, the car's status remained as "in preparation," meaning it was just sitting there waiting to be checked. Then, right when the promised delivery time arrived, the date was pushed one more day, to Wednesday at 7:30 pm.
That's three full days lost of doing Uber, the most expensive parking lot I've ever paid for. Today, I went to pick up the car, and they hadn't done absolutely anything. When I arrived, they just said, "It's there, go get it." I walked all over the facility without anyone stopping me, through employees and vehicles, with zero safety control, and my car was nowhere to be found.
I had to go back to the front desk and ask if someone could please bring me my car, something you get even in the simplest, most humble repair shops.
Terrible experience, zero empathy toward the customer, and overall, it just confirmed my bad decision to buy a Tesla. read more
