After working with Teserra for over two years, we couldn't be happier. Their customer service department is always available and more than willing to help. Even our initial sales person, Adam Rodriguez, makes himself available for questions and help. it's great to have people on your side that support and stand behind their work. We're so glad we picked Teserra to do our Landscaping and Pool. read more

At first I thought my sister was crazy for agreeing to let Teserra do her backyard at Cotino in Rancho Mirage while her house was under construction. She wanted it finished when she moved in March which ended up to be a fabulous idea. I thought the price was outrageous however after seeing the amount of time and work her project took before, during , and after I agree this was the only way to go. The amount of money was justified by the scope of the project. They are the only ones that Disney allows to landscape in the community. Good choice by Disney. They have a Beautiful design center if you would like to be a part of the process. If not, they are capable of planning your project. My sister lived out of town so I worked with Graham and Gregory for many days just in the planning stage because my sister has a very large lot somewhat pie shaped and hard to figure out. She did not want a pool just two separate water features. Gregory was very patient with the plans and plant selection. We even met him at their nursery to pick out all the trees and plants! And Graham is such a nice man , extremely knowledgeable, and he tries very hard to please and always comes through on his word. My sister and I are thrilled with her yard and customer service from every last person who worked on her project at Teserra . All,pictures were taken the first week so plants need time to grow Thank you Teressa read more

Teserra did a wonderful job with our pool. We bought an older house with a hideous Spool. Ryan was easy to work with and gave us good advise. The Spool is gone and we now have a beautiful pool and new landscaping. All the work was done on time and even though everything was dug up, the site looked clean during construction. The workers were pretty quiet and did not leave trash laying around. Thank you Ryan for supervising this project read more

When you have an issue, how many times are you offered a same day appointment? That's just how Teserra rolls, thanks to Cassandra. When jay showed up on time, he was quick to diagnose and correct the connectivity issue, and moved the antenna to make sure there would be no ongoing issues. It's hard to believe that I have been enjoying my Teserra pool for 6 years now. I can't imagine living without it! Thanks Adam for the designing and overseeing the construction of my spectacular oasis! read more

We arrived at our Palm Springs home from Chicago on a Tuesday and couldn't wait to get into the hot tub that night. Unfortunately, the pool heater was not working. After calling Teserra the next day, Cassandra from customer service and Ivan, the technician had us all sorted out in a few days. Cassandra was so great in scheduling the appointments and communicating with us on timeline. Ivan found the problem right away, got the replacement part, and was back the next day to finish the job. Ivan was super good at explaining how the heater worked, the part that needed to be replaced, and was super friendly. Thanks Cassandra and Ivan! read more

On 11/4/25, Adam R with Teserra came to our home to consult on building an inground spa next to our pool. We discussed our desires and brainstormed with Adam. He indicated that he would have an estimate to us in the next week. After two follow-up emails, Adam promised that he would get the estimate to us (see attached). That never happened. We finally hired another contractor who we were very happy with. Our new inground spa looks beautiful. I would not recommend Teserra to anyone. read more

On September 18, I was driving down 111 and one of their landscape trucks was in the lane to my right and a little bit ahead of me, and something flew out of its trailer and caused a big crack in my windshield. Because I was driving, I was unable to get a picture of the truck, but it did not have a cover on its load. I called them immediately when I got home. let them know where and the time, and when they got back to me, they mentioned they had two trucks at that time on 111. One had low trailer, one had a high trailer. I told them it was the one with the high trailer and again mentioned there was nothing covering the load on the trailer . They did call me back and gave me the name of their insurance company, it took me nearly a week to reach the insurance company, and when I did, the insurance company said they would not cover it. because it was only my word and there were no witnesses. I was quite offended with that response. Considering they were able to check the GPS and there was two trucks in that area at the time, I would think they would take responsibility, especially because the load was not covered. I was not making up a story, and considering I was driving, I was not going to try taking a picture, which is unsafe while driving. I don't recall the name of the insurance company. but I would've thought they would use someone who is a little more decent. I don't want to claim it on my insurance because of my deductible, and I really don't think it's fair that I have to pay nearly $800 to replace my windshield because of the irresponsibility of one of their drivers not covering his load. I would think they would have taken responsibility. Very, very disappointed! read more

My husband and I live in Sun City, and we moved here two years ago. Recently, we decided to tear down our old deck and pool in our backyard and completely start fresh. We hired Teserra, and they did an over-the-top amazing job from start to finish. The team was professional, organized, and truly paid attention to every detail. The entire process went smoothly, and the results exceeded our expectations. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. We highly recommend Teserra to anyone looking to transform their outdoor space! If you'd like, I can also write a shorter version for Google reviews or a more detailed one highlighting specific features they built for you. read more

Our pool light went out so needed to be replaced. Bianca at Teserra was able to get me in quickly, so that was very much appreciated. From there, the service that Ivan provided, their "expert" pool guy, was stellar. He was punctual, dressed professionally and was friendly. He explained what needed to be done and before I knew it, our pool light was replaced. I was impressed by how fast he did this because we have Jandy pool lights and they are not the easiest to install. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with how the entire visit went. Well worth it! read more

I worked with Matt and the team at Tesarra on building our pool, spa, bbq and firepit at our home in La Quinta. I could not be happier with the work that they did. Matt was great at communicating throughout the process and they actually finished ahead of schedule on what they had told me. We had an issue with our HOA and Matt was very hands on in helping us get the final approval. They were thorough on the walk through post job and did some additional minor fixes to make it just right. We have been using their pool cleaning service for the last few months as well and that has been great too. Cannot recommend more highly! read more

Entire experience was weird, receptionist screened the call for the appointment maker to call me back, then appointment maker had no info on their scheduling time line, had a third person speak to me and still didn't know what their soonest start date was. Then took 2 weeks just to get a proposal, said they'd have it to us in 3-4 days. Glad we went with someone else, too many people and zero information. read more

Teserra - New pool! - Landscaping Near Me - Palm Desert, California

This is our second pool construction with Teserra, and once again we could not be happier with the result. We started with Graham Balog, who could not have been more pleasant, professional and helpful as we worked through design decisions and finish choices. This was a 25 yr old pool which we were renovating out of necessity, as we had a water leak under the monolithic pour concrete deck. He worked to get us the most style without compromising on quality within our budget, as had been our experience before. We then were placed in the very capable hands of our project manager, Matt Claborn, who worked with on a starting date and who carefully outlined the project completion timelines. He was always available for any questions we had , worked with us on finalizing the plan and finish choices, and introduced us to our project supervisor, Moises Ramirez. Moises was a constant presence during the entire project, carefully scheduling and managing all of the many contractors involved in the project, which resulted in an on time and on budget beautifully detailed pool, renovated to current codes and specifications. We had the opportunity to have a collection of subcontractors that could not have been more respectful of our property and project, and who delivered an extremely high quality and beautiful product to us. If we ever have another pool project, Teserra will be our only choice for the project! read more

The light in our spa had gone out. Teserra replaced it under warranty. Cassandra was able to schedule Fernando Jr., the technician, to come out in a couple of days. Cassandra followed up to make sure the job was completed to our satisfaction, which it was. read more

Professional services. Everything was perfect from my call day 1 to the repair. Would highly recommend Jay and Bianca!

Cassandra is amazing. The followup and the communication! she is a true asset to the company. Thank you!

Overall communication and fair pricing seem to be major issues here, as both are totally lacking. Teserra was quick to show up for the estimate but terrible at following through. I had to reach out repeatedly to the sales team for a quote that ended up being 3x the market rate for the Coachella Valley. When I asked for a formal breakdown, they ghosted me. Never once received an official estimate. Save yourself the headache and the money--plenty of other vendors in the area provide better service at a fair price. Hard pass. read more

I had a great experience with the pool pump repair service from Teserra. I've been a customer for a long time and their service manager Bobby Jones is always professional, knowledgeable, and quick to diagnose the issue. We needed a whole backyard remodel with bbq area, pool update, pavers and landscape. Initially we had someone else taking care of our project but he quit before starting and we thought it was gonna be a disaster. Thankfully and for our luck Kevin took over the project and help us do everything in the same time frame. He was always attentive, VERY patient and very helpful in all our requests, very easy to work with him. We changed some details on our initial plan and everyone went Beyond their work for helping us achieve what we wanted. Everything turn out AMAZING and we liked that there's no hidden "fees" like MANY other contractors we've hired, what you get quoted it's what you pay! 100% would use again and recommend!! read more

We needed 3 bulbs replaced and one moved and contacted Teserra for the work. We worked with Casandra Gonzalez to finalize the proposal and after a couple edits based on our needs, we had the appointment scheduled for the work. The price she provided was reasonable based on our internet searches so we felt good about moving forward. Out tech Ivan arrived on time, was friendly, answered our questions, and completed the work in what felt like record time. The quality of his work was perfect and I have only positive things to say about the whole experience. Casandra also checked back in after the work was done to see how things went, which I very much appreciated. I would not hesitate to work with Teserra again on future pool related projects if all the employees are as fantastic as Casandra and Ivan. Well done! read more

it is hard to believe Teserra has the reputation as a premier pool builder. yes-they build pools. and maybe one day in the past they may have been good. As a real estate professional for over 30 years, I know the value of quality service. Teserra Outdoors built our pool and spa and we are still learning how to maintain a Salt Water Pool in the desert. Since we both love to swim we watch our pool closely and noticed some algae on the stairs. Our pool man contacted Teserra and they ordered a new salt cell. This week Jay came out and noticed the equipment required an adjustment (Tuesday). Today at 7:30am I received a call from Jay and he assured me the chemistry of the pool was perfect. My pool man just left and he also showed me the levels and I am thrilled in just a few days with the help of Teserra we corrected the issue. It is imperative the levels are maintained correctly as we head into the Summer months and so thankful we got this issue resolved. I recently closed escrow on my home in the Cotino community by Disney. I worked with Graham, Gregory, Alejandro, and Isidro at Teserra to complete my landscape, hardscape, and spool. It feels magical what they have accomplished with the limited land space they had to work with, maximizing its use. I had never purchased a zero-lot line before. It is incredible that, despite the limited space, they were able to create a spool with lounging areas, a fully equipped BBQ for grilling and cooking, a fire pit with wrap-around seating, a water feature highlighted from my loggia, and walkways that flow in an energetically balanced manner. I highly recommend working with Graham and his team. I provided them with my vision and, with their expertise, they offered the best solutions that met my needs. They possess the imagination, experience, and talent to make everything flow smoothly and elegantly, transforming even the smallest space into something beautiful. I can only imagine what they could have created if I had larger lots without the constraint of a zero-lot line. My experience working with them was phenomenal. I love working with a highly experienced and talented team that makes the entire process wonderful and comfortable. I shared my vision, and they made it happen, delivering beyond my expectations with their expertise. I didn't need to constantly follow up with them. During the construction of my new home, I spoke with them only a few times. Most of the time, the process was effortless. Then, one day, I showed up to close escrow on my house, and I was amazed by the beautiful work they had done! I never had any doubts and fully trusted that they would do the job. They made my life easier and my experience enjoyable. Thank you for providing such a positive experience throughout the building process. read more

If you'd like to overpay for a pool that is built by subcontractors, this is the place. Teserra is laughable in quality and an operational nightmare. Once Adam Rodriguez is done ripping you off, good luck trying to get anything done by this company including customer service. The tiling was cracked upon delivery and the grout was uneven and rushed, leaving considerable gaps along the skimmers. I had to have my own vendor come in to fix their mistakes because no one at Te-shitty would finish the job. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else. read more

Good design. Good work. Professional operation. Easy to work with and attentive to our concerns. Happy with our new landscaping.

We have built multiple pools over the years in homes we have lived in; however, by far the best experience we have had has been with Teserra. They gave us exactly what we wanted in terms of the pool, hardscaping, and landscaping. While Teserra has multiple divisions that were great to deal with along the way, their customer service is particularly good. Special shout out to Raquel, Jay, and Adrian who were faced with an impossible task and turned it into an opportunity that just needed time for them to come up with a solution. We also want to recognize Daniel who took our ideas and turned it into a design giving us precisely what we wanted. What is refreshing about Teserra is that after the project is done they don't leave you high and dry, they are still there to assist. It is evident that the company has developed good business practices in its history and that continues to serve them and their customers today. We would definitely hire them again! read more

I am so glad I consulted with Teserra on replacing our Salt Cell. Stacy was cheerful and helpful in setting up the technician visit for the next day and getting the quote to me right after. Fernando, who diagnosed the issue, was direct, honest and very knowledgeable . He was immediately someone I trusted. When the work was done, he showed me what he did and left me confident it was done right. He was personable, very friendly not to mention CUTE! Once you get on the schedule/radar of Teserra; which could take a minute because they are super busy and only take on few bigger installs at a time. They really do excellent work from start to finish and were well worth the wait. What I most like about this crew is how thorough they are with making sure you know all the options that are possible and help you to make an informed decision on solutions for your desired outcome. We had a heat-pump installed because we want to swim all year round and it is far more cost efficient than running our natural gas heater alone all winter. The electrical team that Teserra works with was also wonderful. They were able to string all the electrical through an existing tube that runs under the house to the electrical box. It was not an easy task since the tube was already stuffed with wires with little room to spare, somehow they made it work and it took much finesse from what I could see because it took nearly all day but the team did not give up and got it done. Finding a company to install a heat pump that knew what they were doing is not an easy task. Finding a pool company that is a pleasure to work with can also be difficult. You won't have that problem with Teserra. They are not the cheapest in town but by far not the most expensive either. All of the work they did as a whole was done at a fair price and I know that I don't have to worry about any crappy work breaking down because it was done right by Teserra and friends. I truly believe you get what you pay for and we were shown great value from Teserra. Special shoutout to Ryan who really cares about his customers and the person that got it all coordinated and completed with a smile. It was a pleasure working with you and your crew Ryan. Well done! We recently had our backyard landscape and pool designed and built by Teserra, and we are delighted with the final product. As importantly, the service AFTER the sale is also critical. Today, I experienced "first-rate" customer service by Stacy (first point of contact for customer service) and Fernando (on-site technician). I called early (8:00 am) to repair a suspected GFI/Pool light malfunction before family arrived today. I received a call back immediately, and Fernando appeared on our property within another hour. This was incredible customer service from this Teserra team, in my opinion. BTW, Ryan came out a few weeks ago for another issue, and he was terrific as well. We are big fans of Teserra. read more
