Terroni Brentwood is a great addition to the Westside. We've eaten there a couple of times now with friends and both times we've had terrific food and service. I don't understand how or why there are so many 1 star "reviews" by people that have never posted a review before. It seems like they're writing out of spite or have a hidden agenda. Terroni does have their own way of doing things and they don't cut the pizza. Know that and you won't be upset. Personally, I like that they believe in their menu. Our servers have always asked if we have food allergies or dietary restrictions, so I assume they'll work with that, but if you want to make a switch on a dish, then you're better to ordering something else. Anyway, the pastas have always been cooked to absolute perfection. They really have their al dente dialed in. Truly impressive. As I mentioned, they do not slice the pizza when it's brought out to you. They bring you a knife and you cut into it yourself. Personally, I get it with this style of pizza. Have you ever eaten a freshly made pizza that's too "wet", or the cheese and ingredients slide around when you grab a slice? Well that doesn't happen at Terroni because they let the cheese and ingredients stabilize. You cut into it when you're ready. We've ordered a couple for the table and both times they were delicious and the crust stayed crispy for everyone to enjoy. Highly recommended. Our daughter loves their gnocchi. Says it's the best she's had and I don't think she'll order another entree. We're looking forward to our next visit. I also have to mention the cocktails. I don't remember what I've ordered, but they were delicious and went down a little too quickly. Some of the dishes we've ordered so far: Calamari alla Griglia Fiori di Zucchine Frittura di Calamari Pane, Olive e Taralli Prosciutto D'anatra e Burrata Gnocchi alla Simi Pappardelle alla Iosa Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe Spaghetti in Canna a Mare Ravioli di Ricotta e Spinaci Affitisciuta Pizza Margherita Pizza read more

Been here three times now since opening about a month ago and every time we have gone the food was A+. Probably have tried a dozen things on the menu and they were all fantastic. One annoying thing I'll note here is that we had a reservation for 7 people and all of us were there except one, and the host made us wait. This was for a 5:30pm reservation, the restaurant was pretty empty and we had two cranky kids with us. This type of policy may work well in West Hollywood, but to the management of Terroni, know your audience. read more

This is really a 3.5-Star review, but as we all know, that is not a possibility on Yelp. PROS: Delicious food w/ great craftsmanship. Very tasty desserts. Reasonable prices. Solid wine list. Nice space with very high energy in the dining room. Water service was on point. Clean and stocked restrooms. CONS: We were made to feel rushed by everyone on staff. We asked Alex, our server, to course our meal so the small table did not get overwhelmed. Alex ignored our request and sent us all 7 savory dishes we ordered within a 4-5 minute timeframe. The staff kept trying to clear plates to make space prior to us finishing them. Felt that they were more interested in turning our table to maximize their covers on a Friday evening rather than trying to provide great hospitality. We were celebrating 2 birthdays that evening and would have preferred less table interference so we could have enjoyed each other's company more. Oddly enough, the drink service was the only slow part of the experience. WE ATE: Fiori di Zucchine Funghi Assoluti Giuggiolosa Hi I am Sam-Bianca Pizza Tagliatelle al Ragù Spaghetti al Limone Cacio e Pepe Butterscotch Budino Olive Oil Cake read more

Service was great. Food was good but didn't blow us away. I can appreciate the authentic traditions they're trying to maintain by not cutting the pizza, allowing modifications, etc. but it doesn't make for a better meal or experience in my opinion read more

Terroni restaurant in Mentos has great reviews. My daughter always orders the truffle pasta, and I love the lemon pasta--it's absolutely delicious! The food is excellent, the atmosphere is lovely, and the service is great. The only downside is that they don't offer chicken; they only serve meat and sausage. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant! read more

Such a great addition to the Westside dining scene. I have gone to the Terroni on Beverly many times but it's a hike so appreciate they have opened a Westside location now. Beautiful decor, great service, amazing food and extensive wine list - what more could you ask? read more

Love that Terroni has joined the neighborhood! The food, service and ambiance were all amazing. They have a huge wrap around bar which we were able to grab a couple of seats at immediately on a Friday night. We ordered the spaghetti Al limone, a pizza, arancini, the prosciutto and burrata and a tiramisu and everything was delicious. My favorites were definitely the pasta and burrata/prosciutto plate! The atmosphere was lively but not too loud where you can't hear the person next to you. Overall can't wait to go back! read more

Amazing Thursday night dinner with friends. This new location has amazing energy. So vibrant. Am I in Manhattan? Am I in LA? Love places that make me feel I am in nyc but am in Los Angeles! Yes highly recommend... besides the vibe being perfect, the food was delicious: the branzino, the mushrooms and the prosciutto! All Was delicious!!! read more

The atmosphere is energetic and lively, with a clean, open feel. Our waiter was very nice. Biggest downside was the food and drink. I ordered a Bellini, which was served warm with a ton of pulp. It looked like a pale orange juice. The mushroom appetizer tasted like any other fried food; heavy fry, no seasoning. As a main course, I ordered penne arrabiata. The penne tasted like it came out of a box and was so al dente as to be inedible. Note: no substitutions or modifications are permitted. Yet the chef unilaterally chose to switch pastas to one other than what I ordered. Not exactly fair. Because the atmosphere and server were so nice, I would give this restaurant another shot. Hopefully the food will improve. read more

Flavor balance is not great. The solid cheese sticks on the eggplant looks like it's straight from a bag and visually unappealing. The chew of the cheese in the cooked eggplant rolls was pretty good though. 3.8/5 stars for eggplant. Capunti with lamb ragu comes with some extremely bitter greens that overpowered the dish. If a bitter flavor is not your palate profile then like me you will find it distasteful. 2.7/5 for this dish. Flat iron steak tastes grassy and dirty as grass fed beef can be sometimes. Some people like that but that is not my thing. Arugula salad is of course bitter and already addressed that is not my thing. The fried potatoes were under salted but with added table salt the taters were the bite of the night. 3/5 stars for the steak. This place is very busy and there were extra items from the next table that was added to our tab so be sure to check your check before paying. Place is vibey and fun. 5/5 for decor and vibes. Still had a reasonably good time despite the food not being up my alley. With the proliferation of great Italian places in Brentwood this is a one and done for me. read more

Their Larchmont location has a 3.2 star and their Beverly location a 3.5 star as of the date of this review, which is the same as this new Brentwood location and all ratings are well deserved. With ratings this low, do the owners not understand that they are doing something wrong? The location is a total doozy, nothing stays here. Service was rushed with zero hospitality. Food was just okay, not rushing back here any time soon if at all. Priced well, which is what probably drives the business, as the food certainly does not. The no slicing of the pizza policy is pretty bizarre, this is LA not Italy, and not slicing the pizza adds nothing but frustration to the dining experience. Next. read more

FOOD: Basic SERVICE: Manager (man with dark hair) was rude & a jerk. Blond waitress came over to us with one hand on her hip and an attitude (she was just shy of chewing gum and rolling her eyes at us), she gave a snippy, nasty, negative vibe. There was a young boy that was probably new asked only one of us for a drink and almost walked away when I said hello how about me? I would like a drink too?! Then finally the waiter that finally and actually took our order was very nice and understanding guy and the Hostess she was very nice as well! AMBIANCE: Its a nice place love the esthetics, but its a big huge NO, NEVER-EVER stepping foot again at this place. No thanks! Bye! Will happily take my money and spend it at ALL ROADS just down the street, where the food is always - EXCELLENT! read more

I made a massive mistake choosing this place for my daughter's 17th birthday. We wanted to stay local because her grandma lives in Brentwood and can't drive far, but we completely regretted not just making the drive to Taverna Tony in Malibu instead. The only saving grace was the wait staff. The minute we walked in, they were amazingly apologetic. Our actual waiter was incredibly attentive and honestly saved the meal from being a total disaster. But it's a sad state of affairs when your waiter has to spend the entire night essentially apologizing for the ridiculous policies of the restaurant he works for. First off, they tried to slap us with a $10-per-person cake fee for a cake I already spent $70 on. When we got upset about the fee and just asked to store the cake in their refrigerator, the waiter went to check with the general manager. The GM couldn't have cared less. In fact, I overheard his sarcastic remark: "Well, they'll just have to bring it home." Listen, buddy--this isn't Beverly Hills. Drop the attitude. Then the food arrived. For a place trying so hard to be "bougie," they served us a soupy pizza that they expected us to cut ourselves. Why am I doing the kitchen's job at these prices? Word on the street is they're building a bakery across the street now--I assume that's where you'll get to bake your own bread after you pick it out. Lol. It's pretentiousness like this that ruins a beautiful little community like Brentwood. We won't be back. Save your money and head just down the way to Barrington Court--there are plenty of extraordinary Italian restaurants there that actually know how to treat a family. read more

First let me say it's a gorgeous space! And everyone who was working was so pleasant! It's the food that was a let down. The pasta was too salty but still manageable. The pizza however ... I have had better frozen pizza that hasn't been cooked all the way that tasted better. read more

Amazing food and service! I know there are already too many Italian places on the westside, but this one still manages to stand out!!! The space is beautiful, service was great, the food is all spot on and cooked perfectly al dente, and cocktails are done just right! Dessert was great too! read more

Terroni in brentwood is a really nice place to eat. When I walked in it felt very warm and welcoming. The staff was really kind and helpful and they were easy to talk to. The food was also really good. My favorite thing I had was the gnocchi because it tasted so good and had a great texture. I would for sure get it again. One thing I did not like as much was my lemonade. It was way too fancy and bubbly for me. I wish I could have picked how I wanted it but there were not many choices. (I'm underage and do not drink alcohol) I feel like some things at Terroni are a little too complicated and hard when they could just be simple. The food was great but some of the drinks felt like they were trying too hard. Even though I did not love everything I still had a really good time there. The place felt nice and welcoming and the workers made me feel comfortable. I would go back again because the gnocchi was so good and everyone there was really nice. I just wish they had more simple drink choices and did not make some things so complicated. Overall I think Terroni is a really great restaurant with great food and nice workers. It is a fun place to go with family or friends and I would definitely eat there again. read more

typical new restaurant that is buzzy for a few months but doesn't have the stuff to back it up. we won't be going back but not because of the mediocre food that is slightly overpriced. It is because of the arrogance and rudeness of the hostess. The hostess couldn't effectively direct traffic at a t-ball game much less kindly and professionally handle a moderately busy restaurant. the Gnocchi was good but not great. If you're looking for great food this place isn't it. if you're looking for a more trendy vibe in Brentwood and don't want to drive to Venice, Santa Monica or Beverly Hills this could be it but prepare for an arrogant hostess to dampen your experience. I'd recommend a cocktail before arriving to numb the senses - likely would yield a better experience. read more

Came here last night just to grab a drink and dinner before they closed. Hosts were extremely nice & welcoming, and bartender Nick (or Eric, I might be misremembering) was super cool & took care of me. I got a pizza to go and it was definitely worth the walk. I'll be returning, and will probably be a regular since it's a great environment in close proximity. read more

Food is delicious, ambience is phenomenal. Love it here... I brought a friend who has traveled all over Italy, and she said that if she closed her eyes, she felt like she was right back there. Can't get authenticity like that everywhere here in LA! Bravo! read more

The food and service were excellent. The noise level was intolerable to the point that my ears were ringing afterwards. A simple search of elements to make a restaurant loud include an open kitchen, exposed brick walls, high ceiling, hard floors, and no curtains or tablecloths. Terroni has them all! Either the restaurant was clueless with the build out or they wanted a "vibe" and high turnover of tables. I think the latter. read more

Local new spot. Heavily staffed with very pleasant well trained people. Food was good, atmosphere was lively and over all we had a great time. Only negative thing was service was too rushed, turn over pressure was obvious- drinks to dessert we were done in just under an hour. Pizza was good- Neapolitan style. Pasta with sausage was a little dry, olive oil cake with blueberry was outstanding. read more

Went for my daughter's birthday and from beginning to end it put a bad taste in my mouth. Would not let us sit down before the rest of our party arrived even though table was ready and had my 89 year old mother there and they had NO seats for her to sit in to wait except for barstools she could not reach. Brought a cake and was told $10 per person for us to cut at table and didn't even bring a proper knife or forks to use to cut and eat it. Brought small spoons?! Pasta was under cooked. Wouldn't bring balsamic vinegar for capresse salad, as chef didn't want to serve it that way. Too many rules... Not a Good Neighborhood restaurant! Enough said... would not go back and frankly felt like they didn't care! Bad experience and too bad it was my daughter's birthday. read more

We dined there last evening and weren't overly impressed. The bolognese wasn't flavorful enough and mine was quite greasy. The beet salad was delicious, although it could have used a light dressing on the arugula. The pasta d'mare seafood was slightly tough. The butterscotch budding was different than the Mozzarella version, but it was tasty. Service was attentive. read more

This place is an absolute nightmare. They refused access to my service animal and told me to do whatever i have to do when i told them it was against the law. Enjoyed our meal very much. Wait staff could be a bit more attentive. Charging $4 per club soda is a bit much when charging for each refill.

I have dined at this restaurant 4 times since they opened. The food excellent and service is great.

The service and food were awful. I have never left a bad review on yelp, but this needed to be posted. The table next to us also sent back a dish. We had to ask for the waters to be refilled. The attitudes of our server and the manager were not customer service focused. I do NOT recommend this reataurant!!!!! read more

It might be OK if you sat at the bar, the seating is like a crowded cafeteria. The waitress spent 5 minutes telling us what the restaurant did not allow and then went on to tell us all her favorites.
