Staff is nice but hours are 8-4 and not on fridays which makes it hard to get appointments for school aged kids, expensive ($6,500 for Invisalign), and treatment can take much longer than expected if you aren't super vigilant and calling them repeatedly to get appointments and taking your kids out of school to accommodate their schedule. read more

I had consultation at another ortho who told my son he needed to pull 4 teeth and wear traditional braces to correct his teeth. It didn't sit right with so I went to Dr. Yoshikane for a second opinion. Not only did she not have to pull teeth, she was able to correct his teeth slowly and gently with invisiline. We could not be more happy we found her! Yes, she may seem like more, but after insurance and our HSA card it really was as affordable as any place else. I was also able to make payments. I highly recommend her! My only comment as a parent who is concerned with holisitic health, I felt like they wanted to take too many x-rays (which I declined) and they push the pulling of wisdom teeth (which I also have not done). But any place you go you have to take control of your med/dental treatments. Doctors don't know everything. They were gracious, however, of my choices. I never got a return call. Today I had the referring dentist call them, and I got an immediate response. So far so good. I just started seeing Dr. Yoshikane for TMJ and a minor over bite. I had a ton of orthodontia while a teen and as an adult it has moved a lot so i'm trying out invisiline to fix it. She has been straight forward with what my expectations should be and made sure i tried a trial tray just to make sure it didn't interfere with my jaw and make it worse. Since I was in high school, I have always received regular compliments about my beautiful teeth. Not my smile (though fortunately, I get that, too). My teeth. People are very specific. I always smile and know that the person who deserves the credit is Dr. Terrie Yoshikane. Dr. Y became my orthodontist when I was a little girl (seriously, I may have been six or seven). I am now 32. I started seeing her when I was young because every dentist I had ever seen had told my parents I would need regular, extensive, and serious orthodontic work. Overbite, crooked teeth, a jaw likely to be misshapen...apparently without orthodontics, I would have been a real fright. Oh, and I have an unusually small mouth. Dr. Y took me through three sets of braces, more retainers than I can remember, a bionator, headgear...it's a long list. And I was a good, compliant patient. I just had a really bad mouth. I didn't know it at the time, but Dr. Y was following a plan she'd made when I was small, adjusting over time and making sure everything came out well. I'm convinced to this day that many other orthodontists wouldn't have made my teeth come out as well. This is true not only because of skill, but also because of the close, near constant attention she and her staff paid to every little detail. Everything they do centers around making both your teeth and face look better because of their treatment. Traditional orthodontics often required the removal of up to eight teeth to correct a crowded mouth. Using our new technologies, the extraction of teeth occurs far less than it used to. As a result, their patients enjoy a beautiful full smile along with an attractive facial profile. However, they do still extract teeth when either the face of the patient, or the excessive protrusion or flare of their front teeth will benefit from such care. Although, this decision is made only after extensively reviewing the patient's diagnostic records as well as all non-extraction treatment choices. They really want their patients to be happy with their final result now...as well as many years into the future. Plus, The staff there are so friendly and welcoming. Apparently she only does her consolations in the morning, which means that I, a school teacher, would have to call in sick just so we could "meet "Dr. Yoshikane.
