This practice was so professional, kind and accommodating. We are in from out of town visiting grandparents for the week. My 10-year-old popped a wire out of a bracket and they fit us in the same day (receptionist Lily was delightful in the phone when I called). My daughter was seen not only by a technician but by the actual orthodontist, Dr. Schaefer. If I could give Beam 6 stars, I would! I have seen Dr. Schaefer twice for two separate issues with my permanent retainer (which was originally installed by another orthodontist). Thank You to Dr. Schaefer and his wonderful team for taking the time to see me for a TMJ consultation. I was really really hoping that braces will answer all my questions and end this TMJ nightmare but It was not that easy. Dr. Schaefer has been very thorough in explaining why braces are not recommended for now. And wanted me to see a TMJ specialist first and see if in time i will need braces. He was also very nice and looked for other TMJ specialist that offered more affordable consultation fee since im paying out of pocket. And Dr Schaefer and his team still checks on me once in a while and always reminds me that if i need any other help I can contact their office anytime. Not only is this a gorgeous, state of the art office, it is a boutique practice. You don't feel run over, or rushed, and you can feel how close this family owned practice is to its community. Everyone from start to finish was so welcoming. I had my name on the wall, and was greeted with a warm smile and a tour. After getting all my images done I saw the doctor, who is so sweet and personable. I was not rushed, and everyone took their time to make sure I understood all of my options. Dr. Schaefer gave me several options, one of them being no treatment at all. He was open, and honest. He shared that he felt that surgery would be too drastic, and at most a shorter orthodontic treatment would help me achieve my esthetic goals. He really took the time to listen to my main concerns, and ultimately told me he felt that I should take some time to consider my options, rather than forcing me to sign on the dotted line so to speak.
