This place is a must for the quintessential Positano dining experience. The views are immaculate and the food is tasty. We got the lingini with clams as well as several rounds of Aperol Spritz, creating the perfect amalfi coast lunch. Service was attentive, however the only reason I wouldn't give this place 5 stars is the hidden cost of the drinks. Each drink ended up being close to 30 Euros! All and all, I would highly reccommend for the dreamy-est meal, but don't go crazy on the drinks unless you are will to pay hundreds.

Absolute beautiful experience at Terraza Cele today. If you're looking to dine in an enchanted garden that's out of this world, this is it!!! Ciro welcomed us in and made the experience so special and enjoyable. The service is a 10/10. Highly recommend the eggplant pasta! And there are no better views in all of Positano dining. So glad we came :)

Beautiful restaurant with delicious food. A very relaxing atmosphere with a spectacular view.

If you want, an overrated, tourist trap with mediocre food, and extraordinarily high prices, go here. Yes, it has a phenomenal view. One of the prettiest spots you'll ever sit down to dine at. Yes, the surroundings are beautiful, including a Bougainvillea ceiling literally formed from a lattice and growing plants. However, it is a restaurant and one that represents itself has having excellent chefs. Their chef either has a hypersensitive palette or a very strange conception of what good flavor is. Everything we had was underwhelming. The quality of the ingredients was generally high and the presentation beautiful, yet the actual outcome on the palette was lackluster, lacking impact, and in some cases just downright nasty. Examples are the scallops and shrimp tartare. The tartare was bland and lacking flavor even in the sauces. The scallops were over cooked, apparently not fresh caught, and included the "feet" that have a offensive texture and taste downright awful. The clam linguine was made with a bizarre thistle pesto that was amazingly devoid of any recognizable taste. How a restaurant in Italy can't make a good clam linguine is mindbending.

Overall quite delicious and they said they had the "best pizza" and would have to agree with that statement, is likely best in Positano. Service was always friendly to us. We came back twice during our most recent trip. The seafood pasta and the chicken with potatoes are all fine options. It is a bit on the pricier side and there is a cover fee for the service added to your tab.

This was our first meal after arriving in Positano and we couldn't have asked for a better one. We arrived in Positano around 10 PM on a Saturday night. This restaurant was on our itinerary and was a 2 minute walk from our hotel. We walked up around 10:30 and they sat us immediately on the outdoor patio. We ordered grilled octopus to start and it might have been the freshest and tastiest grilled octopus I've ever eaten. We also ordered a spicy green sauce pasta that was top 3 best things we ate on our entire trip. I wish I knew the name of it so that I could mention it here. We also ordered a prosciutto and burrata pizza. My wife isn't a huge fan of prosciutto so she didn't enjoy it as much as I did. But I would happily eat that pizza again and again. The staff were very kind and friendly. They didn't ever seem annoyed that we came in later at night. Every day that we walked past them to go into the main center of Positano, they smiled and invited us back in or asked how we were doing. They don't have the same view that other restaurants might have, but what they lack in a view, they make up for in quality and service.

We sat right in front of Miles and Keleigh Teller at dinner. The crab appetizer and rooster ravioli were the highlights of our meal. The lamb entree was also excellent. I would skip the tart tartine and instead go have a night cap at the Don't Worry speakeasy bar next door that has a live DJ set with vinyl records. It was epic and we shut the place down at 2am.

The atmosphere is absolutely breathtaking, romantic, elegant, and uniquely Positano. Every detail was perfection. The service was flawless, warm, and incredibly attentive, but what truly made the night unforgettable was the legendary Maître D', who has been with La Sponda for 44 years. His charm, professionalism, and passion for hospitality elevated the entire experience and made us feel genuinely special. Then there were the roaming musicians, who have been at La Sponda for 33 years performing!! They transformed dinner into something straight out of a movie. The music floating through the candlelit restaurant created an energy and emotion that simply cannot be replicated. La Sponda is not just a restaurant, it is THE Positano experience. An unforgettable evening we will talk about forever. It felt like an absolute DREAM!!
