This spot is knocked for only the great view, but the service was perfect today! It's one of the top Capri restaurants and deserves that. The staff including Chiro were all very attentive but not hovering. Everything we had was on point. From the house ravioli to the lemon risotto to the lamb it was all good. One of our favorite places to holiday during the summer is the stunning island of Capri. We came in June 2019-every time we holiday on the island, we always have lunch at Terrazza Brunella. The view is absolutely breathtaking and food delicious. We always order a minimum of two plates of anchovies. Food is extremely average / bland and service was terrible..not worth it for the view go somewhere else!

This was was amazing! We were recommended by one of our girlfriends that had come a few months back and we were not disappointed. The service was great and friendly. Everything we ordered was to die for. The view was insane so romantic and intimate. The fish was so fresh and not salty at all. We were so full after eating our entree but had to order dessert and we ended up eating the whole thing because it was so good even though we were stuffed already. The signature dish torta de cape war. The restaurant was a hidden gem so walking to it was a little hard to find but we were so happy to do the walk back since we were so full. Everything was amazing except service lacked. As well as mosquitos ate me alive. Worst month to be in italy sept and October as mosquitos are out during harvest, feasting on humans and grapes. Food was good, not great! My $60 orata was overcooked borderline very dry what a sad waste and tender fish that should of been served juicy and moist. It was served with no sauce, just a lemon wedge.m, a sprig of parsly and a cherry tomato cut in half Marinated anchovies delish! Fennel gratin Tiny tiny portion. It was Good but needed salt, whole meal needed salt. Service friendly but totally ignores you and too busy to care for you! With these prices for dinner service should be impeccable!!! Was NOT. They poured my water but never came back to refill. I had to wave for attention from waiters to ask for salt, a glass of wine, and sauce for fish. I was never once asked how my meal was??? Expensive drinks, wine, food= i don't mind, but don't overcook my fish and try providing 5 star service.. this was more like 3 star dining with 5 star prices. View to die for! Service to ignore you! Food just OK. Chose your favorite. Finished my dinner and nobody came to my table for over 30 minutes. Finally i was given a dessert menu. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. We made a reservation MONTHS in advance, confirmed via email 4 times and via phone call twice. When the 6 of us (3 couples) arrived, they couldn't find our reservation. We even pulled up ALL of the confirmation emails to show them and they refused to honor our reservation. This was the last night of our incredible vacation and I was so insanely excited to try this ALLEGEDLY amazing restaurant and the night was RUINED because of their complete lack of hospitality. Not only is that incredibly unprofessional but there were SEVERAL OPEN TABLES that they could have pushed together to accommodate our group but they refused. That is simply NOT how you run a business and not how you treat customers . I will never even consider coming back to this restaurant and I will warn all of my friends and family to avoid this spot AT ALL COSTS!!! STEER CLEAR!!!! NO NO NO NO. read more

Come for the view and get drinks then leave. 2 for food. 5 for view. Staying in the hotel so thought the first night would eat at restaurant since it's a little out of town First impression was lovely. White tablecloths, polished waiters and oh that view! The food is not good. Appetizer Sformato di verdure with zuccchini, eggplant, red pepper and mashed potato was warm on some vegetables and cold on others. Appetizer special Ricotta with anchovies. Missing one dried zucchini flower which weren't edible so what's the point of saying they were part of the dish? Three big blobs of cheese with anchovy which tasted ok but could of used a sauce or more tomatoes. Both pastas Gigli and linguine Tiburiana were very oily. Linguine couldn't finish with pools of oil on the plate. Thought we could at least get a good dessert with tiramisu. But no. There was so much cocoa powder on top we had to scrape it off and chocolate overwhelmed the mascarpone cheese and it was 12 euro. Entire bill was 111 euro so not only was the food bad, I had to pay a lot because it was Capri. Cannot understand high ratings. Lastly put a candle on the vase on the table! Food was ok, but on tiramisu there was A LOT of cocoa powder. Service was horrible, we were ignored and the waiters were rude. The wine was given to us and left on the table, not even poured!! The same for the water. The bread that was given to us, which you would normally assume to be complementary, but you would be fooled because the bread was stale and was €12 (which is around AUS$30), which is ridiculous. The main meals were pretty good, but still very over priced. The view was pretty nice, especially with the lightning storm that night, however there are a lot of mosquitoes and i was bitten around 15 times, whilst waiting for the chèque that took around 20 minutes to come although we asked TWICE, when the table next to us asked ONCE and they got it at the same time as us, and they had only asked around 3 minutes beforehand, whilst (as said before) we had waited 15-20 minutes. Overall, i believe that our service was bad as we bought the less expensive wine and the smaller meals. Will not be going back! read more

This was the best meal we had during our stay in Capri. Actually, during our entire vacation in Italy. Also the priciest, but well worth the splurge. To start with, the view was spectacular and the space is very pretty. The music was a nice as well. For starters, I had the eggplant which was delicious. My husband really wanted the sardines, but they didn't have them that day so he had the salmon instead which was very good. For pasta, I had the Ravioli Caprese and he had the Pasta with Tomatoes, Olives and Capers. Both were spectacular. For entrees, I had the Filet Mignon which was seared perfectly and a perfect rare cook on the inside. He had the Snapper, which he said was perfectly cooked. We skipped dessert simply because we had so many other delicious courses. This was our favorite meal. read more
