Okay, Rockin' Crawfish!…read more I recently heard they were under new ownership, and I'll admit I was a little skeptical. But I decided to give them a try, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. Our group ordered just about everything on the menu, and honestly, almost every dish was a hit. The only item that fell a little short for me was the fish sauce wings--I think those could use some improvement. Other than that, everything was flavorful and well-prepared. The service was also incredibly pleasant. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely sweet. While we did have to ask for a few things multiple times because they were initially forgotten, they were always quick to help and eager to make things right. My only real complaint besides the wings is the pricing on some add-ons. Charging $8 for six small pieces of sausage feels excessive and is hard to justify, especially when compared to the portion sizes of everything else. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience. Good food, great service, and a noticeable improvement under the new ownership. Despite a couple of minor complaints, I'll definitely be back.

I ordered to-go 1lb of clams and 1lb of shrimp head-on, mild level, and rockin combo flavor, and an appetizer of Calamari. When I got home, I saw that they didn't give me salt/pepper and lemon, so that was very disappointing already. The food was okay, I didn't really taste the garlic, and towards the end, I could only taste pepper-ish seafood. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience. So bummed because it's near where I live.

It's always nice to support a family-owned business that has built a strong local following. I ordered the D & D plate which comes with prawns, hush puppies, and 2 sides- I ordered fries. Everything came out fresh, hot, and well seasoned. The red snapper was cooked perfectly crispy on the outside while still tender inside, and the seasoning was just right. The hush puppies and fries were a great addition to the plate and paired well with the fish. Simple, flavorful food done right. Service is excellent. Definitely feels like family Loved the meal and will definitely be back.

We've tried the fried catfish, snapper, prawns, and chicken, and everything has been fried and seasoned to perfection--crispy on the outside, flavorful and tender on the inside. The portion sizes are generous for the price, making it an even better value. If there's one small drawback, it's the limited side options--fries, potato salad, or coleslaw. A few more choices would make the experience even better. Overall, we highly recommend it. You will definitely leave satisfied!

There was no line to order, and it took about 10-15 minutes for our food to be ready. Service was standard and sufficient. We got the small-size seafood paella which was served warm and quite delicious. It came with spanish rice, green beans, calamari, shrimp, and mussels which were overcooked and very tiny in the shells. We also got several empanadas (mushroom with mozzarella, spinach with mozzarella, and garlic shrimp with mozzarella). They were served at room temperature from the display case in the window, and they weren't labeled clearly so we had to bite into each one to figure out which was which. All three flavors were tasty nonetheless. My favorite dish was the order of prawn croquettes which came with salad on the side. These were served hot and freshly made, a nicely seasoned savory and creamy filling with large chunks of shrimp inside, and the breading fried to a perfect consistency. Yummy!

Its a casual, Korean cafe located in a small strip mall and adjacent to Hernandez Park. The name is a bit of a misnomer. Yes they specialize in a variety of bone-in, Korean Fried Chicken with multiple flavor options. But turn the menu over and you'll see even more options for bento boxes, tofu soup, hot stone rice dishes (dolsot) and more. Service was fast and friendly, but don't overstay your welcome since the restaurant is small and very popular. Bulgolgi bento was awesome - it comes with ita own banchan, japchae, fried gyoza, and a food portion of beef that our 6yo som devoured by himself. Chicken Dolsot was also a solid dish - I like having veggies, carbs, and proteins all in one on a sizzling bowl with a fried egg. Wife and her bestie shared a half order of soy garlic KFC, which were large, crispy, and sticky. Its my favorite KFC flavor and wished we got a full order so I can have some more, LOL. Definitely keeping this place in mind for future visits. A good dinner takeout place if I ever need to work late from Richmond during evening commute.

Anyway, Hundal Sahib fish n' chips is pretty darn close! Their selection of fish and fried veggies is excellent. We ordered a large family meal (for 4 people) which came with 6 pieces of fish (large meaty pieces of cod), chips (aka fries for the Americans out there), fried mushrooms and onion rings and hush puppies. It was all made to order, crispy, juicy and delicious. And they gave us plenty of tartar sauce and malt vinegar without us even having to ask! I highly recommend this spot. And the restaurant interior is very cool and kitschy!

Looks the same from the outside. Inside could use some updating, but I always take it home. da Grub: went with the tried an true Double Catch; Cod & Prawns w/ mushrooms & fries. At 1st glance it looks pretty much the same... munch, and yep, very familiar Cod, very crispy outside, soft, white, tender inside. Prawns were nice size, about 2 bites per; mushrooms also crisp/tender. All atop some fries... and these were the only discernable difference, these were fries, not traditional pub style english "chips" as before - ok, but not as sturdy as chips which are typically stubby and thicker, and somehow stay crispy. Not a deal breaker though... the quality of the Cod & Prawns is most important and still shines through. da Service: Greeted warmly, nice lady, 15 min wait, packed in open cardboard tray so things stay crispy, you get a container each of malt, tartar & the cocktail/horseradish sauce (yummy, I use all 3 in every bite!). 5 Stars for quality; it's a bit pricey, but when it comes to seafood, don't skimp. Old school hole inda wall feel, with friendly service. You can't eat this too often, it's a cheat meal... but when you get the craving, this hits the spot, so come get it.

However, after my experience tonight, I will not return. Basically, I sat in the bar and wanted a plate of pasta with clams. I told the server when he came by that I wanted the vongele. I meant the pasta with clams. However, instead, I got an appetizer order of plain clams. arguably this was my fault, but the server never came back to check on how I was doing. as a result I did not have the opportunity to order some pasta to eat with my clams. I later on asked the server for a menu. He brought me a menu and then never returned to ask me if I wanted to order anything in addition. This is some of the poorest service I have ever had in an Italian restaurant. First, the server should've clarified whether I wanted just clams or whether I wanted them with pasta. I should've gotten some follow up to ask how I was doing so I could have amended my order. Third after I asked for a menu I should've been asked if I wanted to order anything else. for all else failing I should have been offered some sort of comped food or something. He could've said can I bring you a the house or a cup of coffee to make it up to you for sitting and being ignored for your entire meal. When I finally stood up and went and got the check to pay for my meal because I had become so frustrated. I was no longer willing to wait, the server who is also apparently also tending Bar told me "perhaps I shouldn't have let the second server leave early." that's an understatement. I wanted to order more food and just did not have the opportunity. I would've expected the server to comp me the clam appetizer or do something to try to make this negative experience a little bit more tolerable however he did nothing. It looked like a lot of people were having a good time and that the place was seriously understaffed. I can realize this while at the same time say that if a restaurant is going to charge pretty hefty prices for a good meal, the place should be staffed well enough to bring me some darn food. I thought about giving this place to stars, but the clams themselves were not that bad. The focaccia was mediocre. I would not give this place a second chance. I recognize that I'm sitting in my hotel room feeling pretty hungry and I'm probably writing a more severe review than if my stomach were full. Oh well.
