I don't know much about florals so I told Kellye in the beginning that I was going to trust her judgement and I am SO thankful that I did. Kellye is a true artist and when I saw each piece it was beyond my wildest dreams. The day of, person after person told me these were the most beautiful florals they had ever seen. To give you an idea of how Kellye will go above and beyond - we had chosen a ceremony site that I was struggling with. There was a large brown structure that looked masculine and I wanted a very feminine ceremony site. One morning I woke up in a panic (about a month before the wedding) and realized I was spending way too much money trying to cover something. I sent my planner and Kellye and frantic email and Kellye called me immediately. She was calm, reassuring, and so confident and recommended that we change the ceremony site to the lawn so that we could spend time creating the vision I had instead of hiding something we didn't like. We moved forward with this idea and it was incredible, I'm so thankful for her guidance and vision throughout this entire day. Even before we hired Kellye, she was patient in explaining cost and her process. She recommended other vendors and spoke about other florists with glowing recommendations - this shows AMAZING character and was a signal that not only was Kellye a great florist but a wonderful person. Suzie and her team worked with us over multiple virtual and in-person meetings to discuss our style and vision, create a lookbook, and design something that was really unique to us. The florals were definitely well worth the cost (and less than what other florists had quoted us) and really made our wedding design vision and aesthetic come to life. The PacWest Blooms team are real artists, just give them a general sense of what you'd like and the creative freedom to work their magic! The florals were 5/5, beyond our wildest dream! We also did month and day of coordination with PacWest Blooms. Suzie is really warm and kind and really takes the time to get to know clients, which made us feel very comfortable and at ease. Some parts or our experience felt somewhat disorganized and stressful, however, such as no or very late responses to emails, missed or late meetings, and the day-before rehearsal coordination. We didn't really know what we wanted for florals (arch, bride's bouquet, 3 bridesmaids' bouquets, 5 boutonnieres, 2 corsages, flower crown, table florals), so we gave him a few general ideas to work with, and he took it and ran with it, which was exactly what we wanted. We also sent some photos of florals we liked. Ricardo is such an expert in florals and did an incredible job creating beautiful floral pieces. We were stunned by what an amazing job he and his team did, and we highly recommend him! The price was fair for California, and we would happily choose him as our florist again! One minor caveat-we had some technical hiccups with our first few call attempts, we had some Google meet links that kept not working so we ended up on the phone; it wasn't the best start, but ultimately wasn't a dealbreaker, and we're so glad we stuck with him.
