I've ordered 2 arrangements over the past 2 years and both times Laura provided excellent customer service. The arrangements she puts together are well curated and absolutely stunning. Her communication is top notch and she even hand delivers some orders herself! If you're looking for a florist in the area, then look no further!! read more

Ordered a retirement bouquet for my mother. I live in Montana so was just going by reviews and they are accurate! When the bouquet didn't arrive on the date I requested, I reached out the next day (a Sunday) and Laura got back to me right away, apologized and explained that it had been delivered the day before. We're still not sure what happened to the first bouquet but she actually went to the trouble to make another bouquet in the midst of prepping for a wedding and to deliver it herself and then send me a picture. And it was absolutely stunning! Not only a beautiful bouquet but amazing customer service. Five well-deserved stars! read more

I called on a Monday to inquire about ordering a bridal bouquet and boutonniere for an elopement occurring on Thursday. Laura created the most amazing bouquet and boutonniere beyond what I could have hopped for! Made our elopement so special! Thank you! read more

Mother's Day gift succulents plant arrangement was outstanding. No picture, but my daughter-in-law gave the description of a beautiful display of succulents plants with a mother bird overlooking a blue egg, her baby, with a butterfly overhead. A beautiful artistic arrangement. I have used Whitehouse Florists for many years and have always been very pleased with their beautiful and artistic arrangements always delivered on time and with care. read more

Beautiful yellow/orange/coral with a touch of blue bouquet (ordered by my son), a graceful arrangement of several roses w/ lovely scent, sunflowers, day lilies, greenery, etc.; draping ribbons in complementary colors around vase. I wasn't home for delivery; Laurie called, left detailed message re where onprotected porch she set it. read more

I was going to be driving through Santa Barbara on my way to SLO to my mothers on Wednesday. I wanted to pick up a Thanksgiving centerpiece for Thursday. I called and spoke to Laura who is the owner and designer. She assured me she would have it ready and waiting for me in the afternoon. Upon arriving, it was the cutest flower shop and I was cheerfully greeted by Laura once again. Her arrangement was so beautiful and I was so excited to bring it to my Mom's. Laura had packed it safely into a box and even helped me load it into my car for a safe trip. My mom loved it and I can't thank Laura and whitehouse florist enough! read more

I'm not sure who I talk to at White House Florists. She was a sweet woman that understood that I was not there to see what was being created and what needed to be done. She made an amazing arrangement and had it delivered to my mother's house in time for Mother's Day. I will call them again for any other special occasion. read more

Got a nice little arrangement for my officemate as a parting gift as I prepare to change jobs. I told the florist that I would miss our friendship chats talking about life. While I am excited to take on a new challenge (and leave bloated corporate culture), I will miss many of the people. I was telling the florist about this and she was thoughtful to arrange something nice. I definitely appreciated her time and skill to make a nice gift. My soon to be former officemate appreciated the gesture and I think the uniqueness of the arrangement spoke to sentiment that I shared that as friends and even just people, it is part of us that we recognize that we are such, and not just another cog in the machine. I would definitely come here again for a gift of flowers. They themselves can help convey the message you are trying to convey to the recipient with the attention to detail of the message by the arranger. read more

My mom and I have ordered flowers from here multiple times for my grandma and have been nothing less than satisfied. The owner always took the time to accommodate any special changes or details we wanted to add with patience and kindness. Recently she did a centerpiece for my grandma's 85th birthday party and it was beautiful! And when we went into the store for the first time she remembered us from all our previous orders even though we never met face to face and it was an overall very warm and welcoming experience. read more

Wonderful Bouquet My first time ordering flowers with a phone call. You know how that is... not sure what your going to get. It was my wife's Birthday and Whitehouse came through with a great colorful assortment that has the sweetest smell ever! My wife really enjoyed them and she had a big smile, when Whitehouse delivered them to the door. Thank you so much for your help.. You are now my "go to" for floral arrangements from now on. I recommend them 100%! Spectacular work read more

I've ordered several arrangements from Whitehouse Florists & they've all been beautiful! Most were placed over the phone where I gave a price range, a selection of flowers I'd like used (or not used) & they work their magic to create a lovely bouquet. They have always been open to working with my ideas, delivering when they said the would & fair in their prices. Totally recommend! read more

I sent flowers for my daughter's birthday, and asked that the bouquet be vibrant. It was beautiful! Colorful and, yes, vibrant! They did a great job. There was a small glitch in delivery (couldn't get in to her apartment building), and the shop contacted me and were very concerned and accommodating to assure the delivery. read more

I received the most gorgeous roses I've ever seen! My entire dining room is fragrant with their sweet smell. Receiving these beauties made me feel so special! They created a stunning bouquet that is looking just as beautiful one week later, as the day I received them. Top notch! read more

Called the day of for a birthday arrangement for my grandfathers space at Calvary Cemetery. Driving in from SLO, I made a call to this florist and this was the best decision ever. Thankful for the quick response and flexibility. This arrangement was beyond beautiful. I will recommend this business to everyone I know! read more

Worst customer service! So disappointed I went ahead with someone else. I wanted a small arrangement each day I called the prices would change one day they would tell me a certain price the next it would be different. Also it was all done over the phone I tried to make a decision but it didn't help that they had no examples of vases etc they could send. The items they had they only had a few and still cost an arm and a leg. I needed my order to be delivered but yet it still was a problem for them I'm done it's just an awful place there website doesn't even work! And there are no recent photos of any designs! read more

Amazing experience. Recommend to anyone. I also spoke with Bonnie who was very helpful and extremely pleasant to work with. They had fresh flowers in that afternoon and used them for a delivery the same day. Not sure if the negative reviewers are confusing this place with somewhere else because they literally could not have been nicer. read more

Having received two beautiful arrangements of flowers from Whitehouse Florists, I decided to call them to order a birthday bouquet for a friend. Suzanne listened to what I had in mind, asked some good questions about my preferences and budget, and sent an arrangement, exactly what I wanted, within my budget. It was gorgeous. I couldn't be more pleased. read more

Bonnie and Nancy have never failed me in any of my florist needs! The only place that I buy flowers from! Being a local and supporting local business is easy to do when you have such amazing people to turn to. A+ service and flowers is what you will receive when you shop here. If you haven't visited them, pop in and say hello and make your day or someone's day a little brighter with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and tell them Stefan sent ya! ;-) read more

Our employees selected an exquisite bouquet for my "special" birthday recently - it was truly the most beautiful I have ever received! Gorgeous roses, lilies, and many other lovely choices...all of which lasted more than a week. Thank you Whitehouse Florists, and especially to Nancy for designing my arrangement! SO thankful that I found Whitehouse Florists! Needed a same day arrangement delivered on....Valentine's Day! They happily helped me out & delivered beautiful flowers within 2 hours. Thank you Nancy for saving the day!! read more

I got my bridal and maid of honor bouquets made here and was really happy with the service and outcome. I sent Bonnie a picture via email of what I was thinking of, and she made flower suggestions to help keep the price in range. The arrangement was pretty out of the ordinary, but she seemed excited to do something different. I only gave 2 weeks notice too, so I was so thankful that they were happy to help me out. My MOH picked the flowers up and also said they were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend! read more

Let me start by saying thank you to Bonnie for helping me order flowers the day before my anniversary! Not just any flower arrangement, an exotic arrangement that requires special orders and an established supply chain to make something like this happen in less than 24 hours. Thank you Bonnie! I travel a lot and of course last minute had to call in a flower order. I remembered that Whitehouse Florists did an amazing job the last time I used them (4 years ago). I am not a flower type of guy. The traditional rose arrangement is not my style. I ordered from another florist for V-Day last year and it was disappointing. Late delivery, and the flowers died too fast. The exotic arrangement Bonnie was able to make for me is absolutely beautiful. When it enters a room, it is a statement in itself. The customer service could not be better, as she called twice to confirm my message for the card, and also to confirm that the exotic species would be available after all the searching. The fact that they accommodated me on such short notice is enough of a testament to their customer service. I will only consider Whitehouse Florists from now on. I don't buy often, but that is even more of a reason to only choose the best. read more

By far the best customer service anywhere! Nancy went out of her way to shop on her own time to make a gift basket for 2 1/2 year old twins and sent pictures every step of the way. The basket and balloons were amazing! I live in Philadelphia so couldn't be there for my family but Nancy took the stress away and was there for me by proxy. I cannot wait to stop in when I'm in California and cannot recommend them enough!!! read more

Without a doubt, Whitehouse flowers went above and beyond for what I needed. Gina provided excellent customer service and the bouquet she created was beautiful as well. Not only was everything done to perfection over the phone, I was also able to get same day delivery, thanks to the shop sending out an extra driver. This is something you would not get anywhere else. I highly recommend Whitehouse Florists. read more

The flowers were beautiful, but the vase they came in was broken. Water slowly leaked everywhere and it was a mess. Very disappointing

I've been getting flowers for my wife's birthday and our anniversary for more than 30 years (and have ordered flowers as an act of penance at least as often). This is the first time I've used White House Florists (we just moved here), but I'm very pleased. I didn't give them any guidance beyond saying I wanted cut flowers in pastel tones, but my wife and I couldn't be more pleased. It's a beautiful arrangement and a very good value for the money. read more

AMAZING! Amazing flowers and amazing customer service. The flowers are beautiful and affordable! The ladies there went out of their way to help me with a floral headpeice and did an amazing job. I order flowers for work quite a bit and will now only order from Whitehouse. The arrangements are also quite stunning, give them a try you will not be disappointed. read more

A last-minute order was not only timely fulfilled, but arranged in exquisite taste. I know, because my wife was present when this birthday bouquet was delivered to our friend, and she was absolutely delighted. This place is AMAZING!! I called at 4:30 pm asking for an arrangement to be delivered that evening. After calling 4 places before, Gina at Whitehouse not only said, "YES!" but offered to deliver them herself as her delivery truck had already left. She sent me pics of arrangements available. Seriously the BEST customer service I've ever experienced!!! read more

Whitehouse florists went above and beyond for me and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a florist in Santa Barbara. I live in Seattle, WA and had a situation where I needed a last minute floral delivery to my best friend and everywhere I called said it was too late (it was about 3pm). The only place who was willing to hear out my story and took pity on me was Whitehouse and they put together a beautiful custom bouquet and found a driver to make delivery even though they were done with deliveries for that day much like everyone else. They gave such great customer service and the flowers they arranged ended up looking amazing and cheerful which was what I requested. A+ read more

I have been hesitant about leaving a review but I hope another bride doesn't have this happen to her. I sat down with the owner 6 months before my wedding for at least 30 min talking about the bouquets I would like. I thought it went well, she took a lot of notes and we seemed to be on the same page. I could not contact her for the next 3 months due to a health problem, but her mother insisted that they would be able to handle my order. When I asked her to deliver the bouquets to the ceremony location (which was less than 5 min from her shop) she seemed irritated and charged $25 extra. When she delivered the flowers I was told she was irritated that I, the bride, wasn't there to receive them. My family was there to receive the bouquets, I had a lot to do on my wedding day. Well, the bouquets had the wrong lilies (all white instead of pink and white) so poorly wrapped that they all started unraveling before the ceremony and my wedding planner had to rewrap them all, and my bouquet was so ridiculously huge that it covered my face (it was supposed to be teardrop style.) My maid of honor cut down my bouquet to try to make it more manageable, but we just ended up switching our bouquets. I also had a flower picked up for my hair that was as big as half my head, luckily my hairstylist took me to Ralph's and got the right size & color flower. The separate floral arrangements she does look beautiful, but watch out if you're looking for your wedding flowers! read more
