We are despondent and were let down by Goodland Florist. Unprofessional and abysmal (nonexistent) service. We placed an order this Tuesday morning around 9AM and paid for a bouquet of tulips to be delivered as soon as possible today after a tragedy in the family. They should have arrived between 10-4, but by 4:15 PM we were wondering why they hadn't been delivered, so we called, and they said they only just now noticed our paid order, do not even have the Tulip Bouquet that we ordered on hand, cannot deliver any kind of bouquet at all because they close soon, and will be closed for the entire next week, not opening again until the following Monday. How does this happen? We did not even get an adequate apology or assurance of a refund. We were first-time customers and this was a very poor first impression. I found them recently while panicking about NOT having flowers for a very, very special occasion. After calling numerous florists in the area, and only getting voicemail, I called Goodland Florist and was relieved that Lela answered the phone, listened to what I needed, and assured me that I would be able to get exactly what I wanted. I received flowers on 1/4/21 from my children for the holiday and was disappointed with their quality. Some of the flowers had brown edges and the chrysanthemums looked spent (meaning they weren't going to last much longer). I am attaching images of the flowers that I took on the day that I received them. This has been niggling me for a week now, so I finally decided to let the Goodland Florist know about the impression that they made. Unfortunately, their online contact information would not work (and I am unable to communicate verbally if I feel like I am confronting someone about something). The captcha kept saying that there was an error, but would never refresh so that I could try it with a different code. I basically told them in the message the same thing that I am saying in this review. I don't really expect anything to come of this. I was not the one who paid for the flowers but I know that good money was put out for these flowers and I was truly disappointed in them and the company that thought providing these flowers in this condition was acceptable. I do not want my children to know that there was a problem, so do not want a refund. I just want other consumers to know of this issue before they purchase flowers from Goodland Florist. During hard times like this with everything going on with covid , I can't go visit my family in Santa Barbara I live in Palm Springs . I order a delivery basket with a happy birthday ballon for my daughter on her birthday and the basket was beautiful but the balloon didn't arrive with my purchase ,I was disappointed because they charge delivery service even after $80 purchase ans I'm fine with paying but I expect for a complete delivery . I contact the florist and they didn't even care loosing a client they told me that my daughter can stop by and get the ballon (drive out there when I paid already for the services ) how was that fair .
