Riley Flower Shop was a cute and pleasant experience. They had many different types of flowers to choose from, and the staff were very nice, supportive, and helpful. We picked out the flowers ourselves, so I'm not sure how good their arrangements are, but the selection was nice. The freshness of the flowers probably depends on the day and the time you visit. The shop itself was beautifully decorated and had a really charming atmosphere. I think they also had a cute dog there, which made the place feel even more welcoming.
Amazon Flowers no-showed on our wedding flowers (we were dumb to order mail order flowers in the first place) and so the morning of the wedding I called Riley's. A few hours later I picked up the most beautiful bridal arrangement and boutonniere! They were absolutely perfect! The bride was amazed to be carrying the bouquet of her dreams! Thank you thank you thank you! Your ability to come to our rescue with a beautiful bouquet in a matter of a few hours is so appreciated
Riley's is my go to flower shop I'm town. They always have a great seasonal selection of flowers and if you're lucky some cute doggies will greet you! Aside from flowers they also have a variety of cases, greeting cards, stuffed animals, and other little gifts to complete your flowers. They offer flower delivery at a reasonable price and often have flower sales!
We ordered the white sympathy flowers for my grandfathers church service and celebration of life event. We had called to inquiry if this place does banners on wreaths we were told yes that it was an extra charge that we can add a comment. When we checked out online there was no option for the extra charge but we added the comment. I was called later to add the extra charge. We picked up the wreath before the service and it was not until we saw it in the alter that we noticed that they had misspelled one of the words. I double checked that it was not my error in the invoice but it was not my error (I spelled it correctly). Picture shows the error, it should say nuestro instead of nuestra. Due to the emotional stress we were in we did not double check the spelling. PLEASE CHECK! Also I would skip the banner, we purchased the medium sized wreath and the sizing of this banner was not the best in proportioned with the wreath. The wreath itself was beautiful.
I love this shop. I go every 2 weeks to get flowers for my girlfriend and friends and they always make them perfect. Super easy and affordable. I don't know anything about flowers so I just say make me a pink bouquet and they put everything together perfectly. Couldn't recommend enough. On top of everything the people are so kind and their dogs are so cute!

This is the arrangement minus a lot of green filler that wilted so quickly so it looked worse. $90 for this? I'd ask for a refund but i doubt that would be possible and blamed on us. Oh well
Thanks to Riley's Flowers I was able to place a last minute order for a bridal bouquet and boutonnière for our elopement at the courthouse the next morning! My flowers were ready on time and came out even better than the inspiration photo! Super happy with my experience!
Awful service and awful prices! A few days prior to the event, we requested via phone to pick up a wedding bouquet for a small wedding ceremony at 10am the day of the event. They said the starting price was $80 and we agreed to it as Goodland Florist was closed the day of the ceremony. My husband got there at 10:25am and was informed they hadn't even started making the bouquet! He waited and then was presented with 7-8 roses and some fillers. The roses aren't even fresh looking. This place is so disappointing. We won't be back
Yesterday my husband delivered flowers to me from Riley's for Valentine's Day. When I got home I found the flowers by my door in the sun, with not a drop of water in the vase. I had to take it in and fill with water. The ribbon was not properly tied. Flowers half dying. It was not a professionally done arrangement at all. This morning the arrangement look like a week old arrangement even though I received it yesterday. They must have gotten the flowers a while ago and someone who didn't know what they were doing must have arranged it. The card my husband included was also a disaster. No thought had put into it. It was just scribbled on and so ugly. The price was still on the back of the card. I had to throw away the $ 160.00 valentines flower arrangement that I got yesterday. I'm I attaching the pictures of how the flowers I got yesterday looked today. Horrible job. We are very disappointed of the service.
HORRIBLE SERVICE. I no longer live in Santa Barbara but have purchased from Riley's flowers on multiple occasions. This year my sister and I decided to order some flowers from Riley's to have sent to our mother and sister for Mother's Day. My sister called yesterday about the arrangements to a woman on the phone who sent her to a random website to choose florals, the woman refused to give her a price because the computer was in use and promptly hung up on her. We had no idea if she scheduled us for pickup until hours later when another man, who was kinder and had some pricing finally got a hold of her, he told her that she needed to look up new arrangements on a completely different website because the first one had no association with them whatsoever. She chose two different bouquets and placed an order with the new person. Each bouquet was around $90, which is definitely steep but we paid anyway! Each bouquet was wilted and dead. Not only that, but the second bouquet wasn't even similar to the one we chose, it was supposed to be soft pinks with some splashes or purple and darker pink, we got hot pinks, yellow and greens? I called and the woman on the phone started arguing with me telling me "I doubt it, I really doubt it was dead, we DONT have dead flowers" She was rude, abrasive and the owner of I'm not mistaken, as I've been helped in person by the owner on multiple occasions and this woman sounded familiar. She did offer to have the flowers replaced which I do appreciate but I wasn't going to make my mother or sister go on an errand to get even more flowers from this rude woman for them to end up just as ugly as the last bouquet. We were happy to pay a premium for flowers for the mothers in our lives but were highly disappointed with the quality. If you are looking for good quality flowers or even somewhat decent service, try ANY other flower shop in Santa Barbara!! Even Trader Joe's on milpas or de La vina can offer you more arrangements and I'm sure they'll do it with a smile!!

Paid $344 for four dozen roses. Received roughly half. We ordered and paid $344 for a four-dozen (48) rose arrangement for a family milestone. The delivered arrangement contained roughly half that number. The attached photo was taken on delivery. By phone, the florist confirmed the arrangement contained four dozen. After we sent the photo, her email called it "well over two dozen." For reference, Riley's lists three dozen roses at $249.99. We paid $344 for four dozen and received nothing close to this. After multiple emails, the only offer was $75. We called twice and were told both times the owner would call us back. Neither call was returned. The occasion cannot be redone. If you order here, count every stem on delivery and get every commitment in writing. Better yet order somewhere else. read more
Super cute flower shop on State and Figueroa! They also sell cards and stuffed animals so perfect for any occasion. We called in an order so they had it set aside for us but even then, we got a dozen sunflowers at the store and everything was ready fairly quickly. The store was helpful! We also went on a Saturday morning around noon and they had an amazing selection of flowers to choose from. Would definitely come again. read more

My boyfriend and I were separated for my birthday: I was living in Santa Barbara and he had moved to Portland. He wanted me to have flowers on my birthday and sent me a bouquet from Riley's Flowers, which was hand-delivered to my home on the morning of my birthday. I was surprised and this really ended up being the highlight of my birthday! I've kept the little note from the flowers ever since (I'm a note-hoarder) and the basic vase that the flowers came in is now a pencil-holder on my desk. I felt that the flower assortment in this bouquet was really beautiful and they lasted for a long time. read more

I would give Riley's Flowers a 5 star rating. I called back in March for a June wedding minimony. I ordered a bridal bouquet, 4 centerpieces for my tables. They did an excellent job! They delivered my centerpieces and were so beautiful. I shopped around for different quotes and Riley's was the most reasonable. So happy I went with them. read more

I ordered flowers for my best friends Moms funeral which I could not attend. I chose their Mission Canyon arrangement (1st pic) and they got the second pic, full of greenery at the price of almost $200. Sooo dissapoi.ted after I was promissed it would be extra special. read more
I wish I could leave a better review. Honestly, I am shocked at how disappointing it was to get my wedding bouquet from Riley's Flowers. In November, we stopped by this spot to ask about their process. They said it's simple and they could accommodate a 24 hour notice for one wedding bouquet + boutonnière. Well, fast forward to the day before our courthouse wedding and I am back to order my bouquet. The lady helping was nice, but it doesn't excuse the arrangement that they charged and gave me. My now husband picked up the flowers on our wedding morning and brought them to our hotel. I have attached the "inspiration" pictures I had texted the lady I spoke with the day before along with what I was given. I ended up taking the entire arrangement apart three hours before my wedding and redoing it myself. Paying for a service with this low of value was frustrating, and I should've paid more attention to the bad reviews on their profile. read more

Came in off the street for flowers that I needed pretty much immediately. I was not feeling picky or specific, just wanted a particular color so I ended up with these pink ones with a bit of greenery for filler. It all took 10 to 15 minutes, where I played with the two dogs there (Hi Bailey!) and it was that easy. read more

I went with Riley's Flowers for my wedding bouquet and boutonnières and Rachel was such a pleasure to work with. She gave me exactly what I was looking for and everything turned out beautifully! She was also extremely gracious and flexible as I forgot to pick up my flowers the day before the wedding with all that was going on. I paid the extra $50 to pick up on Sunday since they're closed and Rachel took time out of her day and waited 30 minutes for me on Sunday to come get my flowers. In all the chaos, I unfortunately forgot AGAIN but Rachel was very understanding and left my flowers for pickup with the urgent care next door. I was eventually able to go get them and they were gorgeous!! Thanks so much again Rachel for putting up with my forgetfulness and thank you so much for my beautiful flowers! read more

I've been to this flower shop at least on 4 different occasions now and I have to say the quality of the flowers being used is superb. Each arrangement I've had has been made beautifully and each recipient has been overjoyed with receiving these flowers. My latest arrangement was a gift for my mother, a mix of lilies and dahlias, and it couldn't be more perfect! I feel like the price is fair for the quality you are receiving. And they have always been very helpful with what I've asked for. This is my go to flower shop in SB. read more

I called Riley's for help with a funeral service. I had no idea what flowers needed to be ordered. Annette walked me through the process; she was caring and consoling. She eased my load quite a bit. She asked about the deceased and his surviving family. She 100% went above and beyond. Annette put together an urn arrangement and a large bouquet below the easel/picture. These arrangements were stunning. They encompassed the Irish heritage and did that so tastefully. The church coordinator said she had never seen such gorgeous flowers. I highly recommend this florist; ask for Annette by name. She won't disappoint. read more
