I buy flowers from Costco, Ralph's, Trader Joe's, even Grocery Outlet, and they never look like this. I change water and rehabilitate my flowers. Nothing ever works with Lily's. The person answering the phone was confident the flowers would go out the same day & nothing, & NOTHING the following day. Then there was the holiday, followed by a Sunday, so I decided to call first thing Monday when they open to inquire 'Que Paso' AKA 'What Happened' & might the flowers be delivered today & now their phone line isn't being answered, tried off & on from 10:00am to noon & you guessed it, NOTHING!!! Such a failure all around! Oh - and an email was also sent the day or so before & still no reply ... When in business it's important to follow through, if something happened communicate such to your customers; i.e., delivery will be late & by how long or whatever the issue is. Negative Stars!!! I received this arrangement a day late and the flowers, water and vase were hot as if sitting outside for hours. Certainly not from a refrigerated vehicle. The flowers are wilted and missing petals. My grandmother, in another state, ordered this arrangement for my 40th birthday. They assured her they could deliver in time and had the flowers in stock. As soon as I received them I messaged her the photos attached showing the awful state the flowers are in. She has yet to get a return call. This is not okay, taking advantage of the elderly - you all should be ashamed of yourselves, she deserves a refund. read more

Unfortunately, you can tell this place is definitely not about customer service (unless they feel like it). I'm all for supporting local small businesses but that customer service needs to be there. My boyfriend spent $70 on a bouquet from Lily's and had it delivered to me as a surprise. Since I wasn't home at the time of the delivery, they left it by my front door. Much to my surprise, at first glance I noticed a huge rotten fungus-type growth smack dab in the center of the bouquet. I was actually confused when I looked at it - was it part of the display? It had a consistency of gum almost, gooey and stretchy, but fuzzy at the same time? Yeah lol - very quickly realized it was just nasty mold. The thing is - If I can notice it within a second of looking at it, I'm sure that multiple people (from the florist to the delivery person) saw that there was a huge fungus growth in the center of the bouquet.... but they just didn't bother to replace it. And because I received the bouquet after their business hours, I called them the next morning to ask if they could replace the bouquet. No one answered - I left a voicemail - and nobody has gotten back to me. If you want a thoughtfully created bouquet for your special someone, from a business who cares about their customers, I unfortunately would not recommend this place. read more

I don't recommend using Lilys Flowers. We placed a phone order, the gentleman on the phone was very nice, and I thought write down my order correctly. But when the order was delivered 5 min before our family funeral was to start, the flowers were incorrect & the baskets were not matching as requested. I was visiting Santa Barbara for my daughter's graduation from UCSB and I ordered a a bouquet of flowers to be delivered to her. Everything was set and paid for in advance. They called at the beginning of the week to confirm the details, so I assumed that they were on top of it. From here on out it was a disaster. They did not deliver the flowers the day that they were supposed to, so I called them several times. No one ever answered, so I left a message. No return phone call. I also sent an email which they never replied to either. Flowers were not delivered the next day either. Tried calling and emailing them again and never received a response. They literally left me hanging and did not even have the courtesy to call or email me. I would leave them negative stars if it was possible. read more

He paid a lot for it but it came one day later and the flower arranged so terrible , not the flower he ordered, some of flowers were broke also so much different than the picture ( on line) that my son wanted to order for me. Don't order anything from Lily's Flowers; save yourself the stress. I regret placing an order from here without first reading all the reviews. I ordered a white lei for my daughter's college graduation. I specifically told them i wanted it to be double. They quoted me $65, which seemed a lot but since i couldn't find a white one anywhere else, i placed the order. When i arrived to pick it up, i was very disappointed because it looked like a single lei, not a double lei. I insisted on a discount, which she finally agreed to give me $10 off and admitted that the the flowers this year had arrived very small. Since i desperately needed it, I took it, which was a big mistake. The flowers started coming off as soon as my daughter put it on before the ceremony. By the end of ceremony almost half of the flowers had come off. It was a very poorly made lei. Over the years, I have purchased many leis and this is the first time ever that something like this happens. I will never buy any items from Lily's Flowers. read more

Disappointed with the flowers I received as a Mother's Day gift. The edge of the lily was ripped and the edge of the few of the roses were as well. As these were a gift, I do not know how much they were but I am sure the arrangement was expensive. My friend sends me flowers from another city regularly: Farmgirl, , BOuqs, Hogue & Co (amazing). I had surgery and she sent from Teleflora, who contracted with Lily's. My husband sent a picture to thank my friend, and she was irate at the differential of what she paid for and what was sent. The bouquet came with 3 red roses, 3 pink asian lillies, purple statice, baby's breath 3 red carnations. She spent $150 with tax and delivery. I placed an order to be delivered to the SB Cottage Hospital. The hospital refused the flowers because the last name did not match the patients last name (maiden name). I called Lily's Flowers to track the flowers expecting to leave a voicemail. I was surprised they answered my call after 6 pm. They got in contact with the driver and were able to redeliver them after I explained what happened. Even with my mistake they were all able to help me out and deliver a beautiful floral arrangement. Read the reviews prior to ordering. The negative feedback is consistent and exactly what I experienced. Feb 10th I ordered flowers and chocolate covered strawberries to be delivered on valentine's day. By 4 pm they had not arrived so I called to inquire about the delivery, since my girlfriend is off of work at 5 and the delivery was supposed to go to her work. Well, the delivery never arrived. Never heard from them saying sorry, we can get it out today, absolutely nothing. I called several times, but the line was always busy. I finally got a hold of someone, their response to me was "ya for some reason a bunch of the business deliveries didn't go out yesterday". Supposedly they will get the delivery today, but not very confident of that. I paid $15 for delivery, which I feel is kind of a lot, but hey it's valentine's day, I get it... but why pay if they won't deliver on time, if at all. Also, the person who handles the calls is super professional and nice, and Ruben was also super nice when he delivered the flowers. I really appreciated that they were wiling to deliver the flowers past the delivery time shops typically offer -- they agreed to deliver the flowers at 6:30pm, just in time for the surprise. I would give Lily's Flowers 5 stars but I was not very happy when I went to pick up my order. I ordered a flower arrangement for my mom's birthday & I went to order them personally a day before. I told the lady I would pick them up the next day (saturday) by 3pm. On Saturday I went to pick them up at about 2:50pm thinking they would be ready and to my surprise the lady hadn't even started my order !! I was so unhappy ESPECIALLY because I had called her that same day early morning to confirm she would have my flowers ready by 3pm!! She then went off telling me she was very busy because two of her girls didn't show up to work . She started making my flowers so I was there waiting... she then got a call and was helping the customer on the phone for like 10 minutes like if I wasnt in a hurry. I over heard her saying she was going to open on Sunday so after she hung up I told her I would just come Sunday to pick them up because I did not have time to wait around as I had an event to attend . She was like "oh ill be done right now" I told her I HAD TO GO. ! As an apology the lady offered to have them deliver to my mom for free . She also said she would add a card and asked me what I wanted to write.. My mom received the flowers but never received the "card" . The flowers were nice but the service was not so great.
