Such a bad experience..and on my birthday to boot. Received a beautiful 'arrangement' of flowers for my birthday from Alpha..however when I actually looked at the flowers I was so disappointed. Half of them look like they are a week old (brown petals) the other half are almost in full bloom. :( I phoned and spoke to the owner Victoria, my concerns fell on deaf ears. She basically told me that's the way these flowers are "supposed to look", they are "garden roses" she said, "it's how they look". Really?? She said she would send her driver & have them picked up and re-deliver another arrangement. "But they will look the same" Victoria assured me. The driver showed up, apparently her husband, told me once again "that's how these flowers are supposed to look". Long story short he did not take them back and I am stuck with the sad little flowers. We bought a wrist corsage for Prom last Saturday. The staff was friendly and efficient. I Picked up the corsage Saturday morning. The corsage look nice, 1 large rose and one small rose and a little greenery. It was $45 which seemed expensive but after doing a little checking around, seems to be the going rate. My only problem was that the courage fell apart with in 5 minutes after putting it on her wrist. We were taking pictures And the large rose fell off, the small rose hanging on by a string of glue. in general, I am not one to complain. I realize these things can happen. It was disappointing. I called the shop on Monday morning to let them know what had happened. Not necessarily looking for a refund, but to let them know. I called a few time and was sent to voice mail. Eventually left a voice mail. I did think that I would, at the very least, get a phone call back with an apology. It is 4 days later and I haven't heard from them. I feel this was unprofessional.
