Our gorgeous centerpieces by Jenny
Jessica H.

I had a destination wedding so all my planning was done from across the country. I found flowers to be the most difficult thing to plan from afar. I couldn't go in and see samples, express my ideas in person or look at past work. However when I found Jenny, I felt so much better about the florals. I loved that Jenny has a DIY option, I felt I knew what I wanted and doing it myself would be the best and cheapest way to go. Then I soon realized I didn't have the time or energy (especially planning from afar) to DI-myself. I had been going back and forth with a few florists and felt overwhelmed. When I came across Jenny's website only 3 months before my wedding. I fell IN LOVE with one of the weddings she had previously done. I promptly wrote her an email and she was luckily available. I never once spoke to Jenny over the phone, which was best for me since I was a large time difference. I simply told her I loved the previous wedding she did and explained my colors centerpiece ideas (with pictures) and that was it! I couldn't have been happier with how the flowers turned out for my wedding. She listened to everything I wanted and the flowers came out gorgeous. She picked the vases out and they were exactly what I had imagined. Her prices were reasonable and the quality was amazing. On the day of my wedding Jenny came in the Bridal Suite to deliver bouquets and she was such a sweetheart. She made sure I was happy and she was so nice. Everyone gushed about how beautiful the flowers were and wanted to know where I got the centerpieces. I highly recommend Jenny Mann Floral Design for a wedding whether you DIY or have her do the full service, such great options.

I had a very specific idea of what I was looking for for flower so finding a florist was one of the hardest parts of planning for me ... until I came across Jenny Mann Floral Design! For our wedding reception we wanted to have loose flowers and greenery placed in lots of found bottles we had been collecting. So really we wanted lots of loose flowers and greenery that would match bouquets! Jenny's partial DIY service was absolutely perfect for this and allowed us to have her make the bouquets and then buy bunches of matching flowers and greenery that family friends cut ant put into our found bottle vases. Jenny was incredible to work with and so helpful throughout the entire process offering tips and ideas of how to set up our Diy arrangements. The bouquets turned out even more beautiful than we imagined and all of the flowers and greenery were extremely fresh. Finding Jenny was a huge life saver when it came to planning flowers for our wedding and we would definitely recommend her to anyone!

My beautiful wedding bouquet!

From our very first…read moreconversation, Kiara got my vision and somehow turned it into something even more beautiful than I imagined. The florals were stunning, thoughtfully designed, and truly elevated the entire look and feel of our wedding. Every bouquet, arrangement, and detail was flawless--fresh, elegant, and perfectly curated. I received so many compliments from guests, and I honestly couldn't stop admiring them myself. Beyond the incredible talent, the Blue Blossoms team was professional, kind, responsive, and a calming presence during the planning process (which is priceless for a bride!). If you're looking for florals that feel intentional, luxurious, and full of heart, Blue Blossoms is it. I'm beyond grateful to Kiara and her team for bringing so much beauty to one of the most special days of our lives. Highly, highly recommend

Not something most florists do. Impressive. So I then ordered a bouquet for a friend. I thought the pricing was very reasonable for the quality of the flowers. Now I am the sender and not the receiver, but the process was the same. Called me to say it was delivered, texted me a picture of it at my friend's front door. Her flowers were also beautiful! This is now my go to florist! Great product, great service! And woman owned - home run!!!!

She's insanely talented, wildly creative,…read moreand has an incredible eye for design, but what sets her apart is how pragmatic, thoughtful, and easygoing she is throughout the entire process. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, but Tracey's depth of industry experience was such a huge asset -- she knew exactly how to navigate decisions, offer solutions, and bring our vision to life seamlessly. She truly took the time to understand what we wanted and then delivered something even better than we imagined. On the wedding day, she went above and beyond, and the florals were absolutely breathtaking -- our guests couldn't stop commenting on how unique, stunning, and perfectly "us" they were. Beyond her talent, Tracey is just kind, generous, and so much fun to work with. If you want someone who will bring your dream florals to life, guide you with confidence, and make the entire process enjoyable, she's the one!

I spent $300 for "all the flowers" yet the quality was not there. I spent $80 for a smaller bouquet with another florist and it was a huge difference in quality. I also ordered a bunch of corsages from the florist and she did accommodate a bunch of last minute additions for my bridal crew, so I give her credit there, but she made them all white when I had requested colorful to be opposite the bridal color of white. Florist herself is nice but overall a bit disappointed in outcome.

My son purchased flowers for his girlfriend to ask her to be his valentine to be delivered on…read moreFebruary 9th. Not only did they NOT deliver the flowers on the 9th, but he received no call, no email or text stating that they would not be delivering them on the day he chose for them to be delivered. His girlfriend was going out of town the next day, so the 9th was the only day to be delivered where she could receive them. Regardless, he chose a delivery date and they did not deliver them. The next morning, she had already left for out of town and he was notified by her roommate that the flowers were delivered the NEXT DAY. Still, no phone call, no email or heads up that they were not delivered on the day he chose but took it upon themselves to deliver it when they felt like it. Completely unprofessional! Do NOT BUY FLOWERS FROM THEM! UPDATE: I called and spoke with the young girl who said she delivered them herself. She said that she delivered them at 8pm that night, but that she forgot to deliver them and went home and "did her thing" and then delivered them, although his girlfriend was home during that time and did not see them, so we know she delivered them on her way to work the next morning and tried to cover for herself. Either way, the flowers were left in her car all night long. Also, the flowers look nothing like the photo and my 9 year old could have done a better job.

The woman said that someone could deliver it because some employees would go in that direction to go home. The flowers were indeed delivered. I can only say, "Thank you from the bottom of my heart." My new DIL has had some big trials recently, and this kind act meant the world to her and to me. You rarely find customer service like this these day.s. Please give them your business! The SBOE used to be the place to go, for me, the weekend of the Santa Barbara Orchid Show. Great…read moreselection of bare roots at great prices, super cymbidiums, and just a great overall selection of orchids. For the last 3 years it has gotten worse each year, and this year, I did a walk-through in about 10 minutes since they had next to nothing and what they did have were at ridiculous prices with most of the greenhouse off limits. Very disappointing. Since Paul Gripp, the soul of the place, passed away in January, I assume its days are numbered, which was the rumor going around in March. A pity.

Yeeeesh....this place is just depressing. A monument to dead passion…read more I came excited to check it out with my girlfriend, and man were we disappointed. Should be called "Santa Barbara Wooden Bench Exhibit, featuring Occasional Dying Orchid." It made me so sad to come onto Yelp and see what an amazing place it was in the past. Yeah, as I imagined, the business had a case of Pass-down; excited owners assumed their kids would love the business just as much as they did, and now the kids just seem to be wishing that a lightning strike would hit the place overnight and wipe it out. The people here are friendly, don't get me wrong; they just seem painfully aware that they are operating the shell of a formerly thriving, vibrant gem of an orchid nursery. Nobody seriously cares about the place. Every single plant there was in poor shape. $75 cattleyas with yellow leaves and wrinkled up pseudobulbs, missing information tags, blah blah blah. The only person who seemed excited to be there was the nice older grandpa who; while friendly, became seriously uncomfortable. He clearly has some severe form of dementia and will ask you where you're from 5 times in a row. We noticed another couple with a petite wife whose husband walked away to the other greenhouse, and she was being constantly followed and asked questions by the man. She felt extremely uncomfortable and I had to step in to distract him, and she waved a thank you and ran back to her husband. He was basically cornering her. The ladies working there heard and saw all this and couldn't care less. Guys, just go to Gallup Stribling, or Cal-Orchid, if you can get the cantankerous old lady there to give you the time of day, let alone make an appointment to see their stock (she thinks they're a botanical country club.) But PLEASE, don't waste your time here! Especially if you're in town for the yearly orchid show. There's much better places in town for orchids.
