COLD BAGEL SANDWICH, look at cheese! Microwaved eggs! Sorry not Sorry! Hard Pass!
    Christin N.

I'm sorry not Sorry. They definitely have to do better. This bagel was ate there so no wait time! Cold as a fridge not even room temperature, you can tell by the cheese didn't even melt a little bit! Bagel didn't seem very fresh like a dough made, boiled than baked bagel, maybe frozen and baked only. I also asked first about eggs because I know sometimes places microwave eggs but just not my thing. I said they grill them? If not microwave he said"yes" NO WAY IN HECK.... They are 100% microwaved and maybe finished in a pan they were the texture of a sponge. I never waste food but I could only stomach 1/2. Service not so great either! I recommend going somewhere else. Unless this was just an off day for them?!?

As I'm sure you've seen in other reviews, the place is layed out really weird but they have a cool aesthetic. They have a pretty big menu and lots of options but the seating is limited and also awkward. We all just got flavored bagels with flavored schmears. I also had an iced chai which was pretty good too. The person working the counter was patient and kind. If you're going, I recommend you plan to just pick up. Even when waiting there is no good spot to stand.

I have wanted to try Tera Bagels for quite some time and I'm so happy that I finally got the chance to. Great selection of bagels and schmears. The BEC was a hit at our table, I personally liked the jalapeño and cheddar bagel with the veggie cream cheese. The dill pickle schmear is good but I would only be able to eat it in small doses. The staff were friendly and patient as we tried to decide our menu. The brown sugar latte was delicious and my dirty chai was great!

This was by far the worst bagel I have had in my entire life. I stopped by Terra bagels twice during a work trip and wish I never went back to give it another shot. The first time I went, I ordered a simple breakfast bagel sandwich and added avocado. They forgot to add it, which I was a bit upset about as it cost extra, but, hey, things happen sometimes. The bagel itself wasn't great either and tasted hard and stale. The eggs were overly salty which I thought was a bit weird. I decided to give it another shot the next day and try something different. I asked for a bagel sandwich on an "everything bagel" and asked for it toasted. I was in complete disbelief when I opened the wrapper to a bagel SOAKED in salt. What the f**k?!! I didn't even know a salt bagel was even an option. It looked like it could give someone sodium poisoning. The bagel was also cold and the bacon was straight up cold and tasted like it came right out of the freezer. I threw it away because it was completely inedible. Save your money and please do NOT go here. This place has got to go.

This bagel was $9 but had one piece of bacon. This was probably the worst bagel I have ever had. Bread was alright and cheese was salty.

On my recent trip to Michigan, I decided I wanted a bagel breakfast and found this place nearby my hotel. The layout is really awkward, and there is not a lot of space to sit and relax. It's less of a coffee-shop vibe and more of an assembly line. The first thing I noticed is they were out of several choices of bagels, and literally had numerous items crossed off their menu on the wall. I figured given that, I'd go simple and ordered an Italian Herb Bagel with cream cheese and a hot tea. It took an incredibly long time to get both, and asking about it clearly annoyed the service staff. When I did finally get my order, I'm telling you - this thing was SMOTHERED in cream cheese. Like, enough cream cheese for three bagels, and I'm someone who generally likes a heavier schmear! Add to that the bagel was more like the consistency of hard tack than solid but airy and...it just really wasn't a great experience. I didn't go back, and probably won't.

Has vegan options! I had the blt bagel with some form of vegan meat like turkey. I really enjoyed the flavor and texture of the bagel and would go again. They weren't stingy with the cream cheese either Great option for a quick breakfast and also their iced coffee is really good!

These bagels are making me thirsty...for more. Get there before they're all gone. It's an indicator of how fresh they are. Unfortunately, fell into the crowd that was there when they were all gone and didn't get a full choice of bagels from the list but this bad boy bagel was a delight!

$9 for the saddest excuse of a bagel sandwich I've ever seen... I normally get get the bagel and cheap cheese and it's always good. Guess I'll just have to stick with that and get bagel sandwiches elsewhere...

It's a cozy little space on Michigan Street with takeout, pick-up and dine-in options. The food is great and the service has always been very friendly. I've sampled multiple menu items and have not had a bad one yet. While the French Dip and Italian Bomber are good, I have been gravitating towards their burgers, which are exceptional. My boys and I have tried over 40 places for burgers in the GR area, and this is one of our very favorites. The Pickle Poppers and Truffle Fries are tasty sides and the 'Pickle Dippin' Sauce' is quite addictive.

And by god, was I impressed. It's a small little sandwich shop off of Michigan Ave that has seating for maaaybe 20 people. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich to go, and when I got home to open my box, my jaw dropped. These guys put not one, but TWO mf chicken breast cutlets on this poor, poor bun. Topped with delicious house made pickles (their namesake), a fresh and tangly slaw, and a spicy oily sauce, this thing was a behemoth. And for, like, $15?? This is two meals for the average person. My only complaint was that the bun simply could not shoulder the monstrous burden of what it contained. Additionally, dude the fries are phenomenal. And they absolutely LOAD you up. Get the truffle upcharge, it's worth it I promise. I have been a Two Beards fan for the better part of the past 15 years, but man, in terms of value, The Toasted Pickle takes the cake. I can't wait to experience whatever else these guys are whipping up behind the counter.

It was portioned correctly. It just was very bland compared to what else you can get in Grand Rapids. The chili cheese fries also were not horrible but I wanna say they were great. It is just gas station cheese and chili from a can. Again, not horrible just nothing special. Overall, I probably wouldn't recommend this place but I also want to steer someone away either especially if you are drunk and at the bar across the street. I'm sure it tastes much better. That being said, I think it's a perfect restaurant for its location. There is not a ton of competition directly next-door or across the street. My cousin and I sat at the bar, and you can get full service at the bar. She ordered a hot dog and I had a pizza. The hot dog came with that weird neon relish, in typical Chicago fashion, and was on a poppyseed bun. The fries are crinkle cut, and I don't know what seasoning they use, but it was so good! A little sweetness mixed in with the spices. The pizza was good; thin crust and cut square style like they do in Chicago, which I forgot about and kind of hate. I should've asked for silverware, but didn't. Next time I'd ask for it pie cut instead. The flavor was really good though. It was a bit pricey for what it was - it was a 12" pizza, and each topping an additional $3. $21 just seems high to me for a thin crust pepperoni mushroom pizza. I had draft beer and my cousin had a mixed drink. She had no complaints about hers, and mine was quite good! So many places draft beer tastes a little soapy, whether it's the way the clean their lines or how they wash their glasses, but I didn't taste any of that here. There aren't many choices on draft but was a good variety. They also have a full bar and lots of canned beverage choices. They don't have the healthiest menu, but that's not surprising since they're known for Chicago hot dogs, Italian beef, and pizza. If you know what you're going for it's perfect! The vibe is good. The space is pretty open, gets a decent amount of light, is clean, and there is parking! The restrooms are tiny, but clean, and I appreciate that after you wash your hands the door opens out so you don't have to touch a handle. We went on a Monday after work, which does turn into karaoke night, but we had time for a couple drinks and food before that really got going. It also wasn't crazy in there and we could still carry on a conversation at the bar without having to yell. I'm glad I finally made it in, and fully appreciate having them in the North Monroe area. I will definitely plan to have more happy hours here!
