I've been a customer of this Terminex office since we moved from Atlanta & bought the house in early 1987. Terminex was my Real Estate Agent's choice for obtaining the Termite Certificate needed for closing. We have quarterly Pest Control Service & an annual Termite Inspection. I had them install a dehumidifier in the crawl space, which has worked great. An annual Inspection is scheduled for the device. My technician will repair or replace anything on the dehumidifier not working correctly at that time. Over the years I've had some terrific, long term technicians. David, who was our favorite & that of my dogs, was promoted to Regional Manager. Our current technician Jonathon is both pleasant & efficient. All work in clean, well kept uniforms. I'm very comfortable having them in my house. Each has listened & addressed any problems I have had since the last service. They're knowledgeable about pest problems & the timing of them specific to my area of town. I love the concern the technicians have regarding the safety of my furry children. They let me know how long the sprayed areas need to dry before the dogs can go out. And all have enjoyed visiting with my dogs. With Terminex it's not a one time a quarter service only. They will return as many times as needed should I text or send a message on their App. Speaking of texts, I love how their scheduling is done. I receive a text giving the date & time I'm scheduled. If that doesn't work for me I send a return text proposing a different date and/or time. It works great. The cost has increased over the years. But so has everything. I consider the price a good value considering the service I receive. read more

Found this service online. They are very efficient. Called them to set up an appointment for a quote, the appointment was set up for the next day; however, the inspector (Elijah) called me to let me know that he had some appointments open for the day. It worked out perfectly because I had the day off. He went above and beyond to set up the account and the next available appointment for service. read more

Do NOT give your money to this company !!! If I could give them a negative star rating I would ! We have had ongoing problems with them from the beginning! On 8/10/2023 we had Terminix come to our house and do a walkthrough for rat and ant problems. We signed a contract to have the issues resolved. Terminix came and sprayed for the ants and set rat traps and were supposed to seal the crawl space. We still could hear the rats in the vents, so we called back several times. With some of the calls, it was clear they were annoyed. I spoke with Terminix and was told the issue would be resolved. We also specifically asked if the rats had damaged and gotten in the vents. We were told they saw no damage. We eventually had a supervisor come out and had the heat pumps sealed, and he also had all of the exterior vents to the crawl space covered and caulked. On Oct. 28th I called because a rat had gotten into our house. To date, we have had no response. We had to call another company to come and they found that the heat vents did, in fact, have damage. They also found 2 areas that were not sealed, where the rats were entering. In addition they found fungus growing because the exterior vents were completely sealed so there was trapped moisture. We had to pay $1000. to have the vent covers removed and replaced with wire mesh and vented covers, also to have the 2 entry points sealed, vent repaired, and fungus treated We also requested that Terminix not place any rat traps in the back yard because of our dogs. We found a bait station outside the crawl space door that they forgot to pick up. This has been a nightmare and a VERY costly one for a family on a tight budget. Terminix put Insulation in my home a year ago. I received a bill of 105.00 so they can check if the Insulation is still intact. That does not make sense to me pay to check your work Terminix. read more

I was warned about getting in a contract with these guys but I thought the service was good. Paid in ADVANCE for 6 services and then after 5 they say I owe them $35 more dollars. I have spoken to 3 different people and gotten 3 different reasons. First I was told the price went up $5 . What I have a contact I paid for. So if it went up $5 on each service of 6 , they are telling me 5 times 6 is 35. I WILL get my last service and then I am done with them. They are in breach read more

I would like to commend Walter Darland for his dedication to customer care. His commitment to Terminex's service is exemplary. I live in Miami and my 94 year old mother lives in Norfolk, Virginia In her own home with 24 hour care. On Saturday, March 2, 2019 I received a call that my mom had what appeared to be bites on her arm and chest. Being that my Mom has 7 rotating caretakers, one never knows what one might bring in. I worried about bedbugs. Panic stricken, I called the number I had stored in my phone for Terminex in Norfolk. The contact said " Greg" from Terminex, but Walter answered the phone and explained that he now was in charge of that number. I explained the situation to Walter and he could sense my anxiety. Being that this was a Saturday and I was a complete stranger to the gentleman on the other end of the phone, I figured the best he could do was to get someone to check out the house on Monday. But believe it or not, Walter himself was at my mother's home on Saturday within 40 minutes from the time I called. He said he understood the situation and wanted to check out the house immediately. I was stunned at his compassion and commitment to customer service. He looked through each room and piece of furniture thoroughly, and thankfully found nothing. He did advise me to get a new boxspring for the Caretaker's bed ( the night caretaker sleeps in a twin bed next to Mom) because it was old and had remnants of dead bed bugs from an infestation a few years ago. He then explained that he would bring in the bug sniffing dog to make absolutely sure nothing was biting my mom in the house after I got rid of the old box spring. He stayed at the house quite a while making sure there were no live bed bugs. He then even offered to come back and take away the old boxspring for me after I purchased a new one if I couldn't get anyone to do it for me. He said that he would do anything he could to help, as he was empathetic to the fact that my mother was elderly, and me living 1000 miles away. As though all he had done for me and offered to do for me wasn't enough, he refused payment or tip for his extraordinary and immediate service call and said that Terminex prides itself with unparalleled customer service. I called back today, late Monday afternoon, to thank Walter again for his service and to let him know that I purchased an entire new mattress and boxspring and that the mattress company would take away the old bed for me. I also told Walter that the home health care nurse came today and advised that the bites appear to be spider bites. He said he would make sure to have someone come out to spray the house on Tuesday, if the caretakers did not call Terminex themselves. I'm 63 years old and must say that in all my years, I have never had a more compassionate, dedicated, and meticulous service provider. Thank you Walter and Terminex for exemplary customer service.
