My lawn care company recommended Dreamlawns for fertilization & weed control maintenance. I'm glad I decided to follow their advice. It had been a number of years since I had a similar service. The national brand company I had used for years wasn't responsive to my requests. They had become "spray quickly & leave", ignoring my standing instructions. Finally I cancelled because of poor service. I'm very glad to now have a local company that's responsive to my needs. Dreamlawns only services my front yard at my request. When the back was previously done it was an irritant for my dog's skin. There was much scratching following a treatment. I would much rather have healthy, happy dogs than beautiful grass in the backyard. The company always calls the day before service. They follow my instructions not to come the day of or the day before my regular Friday lawn care mowing. If their preferred day doesn't work for me it's easy to reschedule. Payment can be made in advance for the annual schedule of service. The cost is much less than the national company for better service. "Buy local" includes much more than just restaurants & shops. Months later I received a letter from a collection agency regarding an unpaid debt. While annoyed, paying this was not a problem until I discovered an effect on my credit. Further frustrated, I gave them a 2 star review. This could have easily been solved with a phone call or bill. I sent Dreamlawn their payment and assumed we were done. Fast forward a month, I am still receiving letters from debt collectors even after the payment in full. It's impossible to not provide a full 5 star review. They did everything they said they would and run their businesses professionally. The office was great to deal with and answered calls during regular hours. Anything I needed they responded quickly. Technicians were friendly when I would catch them. The paperwork was dropped off when not at home. They do not offer mowing services. I had seeding and aeration done in Fall. Other months fertilizer and maintenance. They also offer tree and shrub service. In my opinion Dream Lawns is the best in the area. This is after using other local and national chains. Price is similar too! I also received a $25 refer a friend credit off bill. Neighbors will notice. My lawn is gorgeous and I now have the lawn I dreamed of. read more

So I have been using Dreamlawns for over 6 months now. Our backside yard still looks full of weeds. The receptionist is somewhat rude and makes up her own stuff. Won't say her name but Rachel the previous secretary was much more helpful and passed on correct information. I am trying to continue the service and see if anything changes in a few more months. Else I am taking my business elsewhere where they provide correct information and are pleasant to their customers. read more

We started our lawn care at our new home with TrueGreen. The lawn was sod at a new construction home. Within 2 years, the lawn was nearly dead. I asked our lawn care person to come out and discuss it, and he made it clear that he had no idea what he was doing, and that if we wanted expert advice, we needed to call the company ourselves. I mentioned this to a contractor doing landscaping and patio work, and he recommended Dreamlawns. We contacted them and they came out for an evaluation. I was immediately impressed by the knowledge and professionalism. They recognized the problem with our lawn and quickly put together a plan for recovery. It has been a bit over a year and the lawn is looking beautiful. Our backyard was seeded over sand and clay, and this part of the lawn is also coming in extremely well and healthy. The folks at Dreamlawns are very responsive to questions and requests for advice on watering, soil management, and any other issues related to the health of the lawn. Terrible lawn service first contract with a lawn company what they failed to tell me was after September during the month of October November December January February when the weather was cold they would not be doing anything to my yard yet still sending me a bill for $50 a month on a 12-month contract so you decide to come to my house and do absolutely nothing for almost 6 months and yet you want to send a bill to my house for no service totally not cool if they would have told me this in the beginning before I sign the 12-month contract I would have never agreed to it yet I kept getting a bill every month in the mail and I would call them and say you're not even doing nothing to my yard why should I keep paying you $50 a month It was part of the 12-month contract right I was told , if you'd have told me this before I agreed to the contract it would have never happened and no they did not make this clear before I signed the contract. And the bad part about the whole scenario is I still don't have grass my yard looks like total crap after a year with these people so basically what it amounts to out of a 12 month contract I might have gotten six month of servicing and when they did service they came once a month so they came to my house six times on a 12-month contract read more

Dreamlawns has done a phenomenal job with my lawn. It has never looked more green, lush, and full. In the past, I have used the services of the big national companies like TruGreen and Lawn Doctor, only to be disappointed. Dreamlawns doesn't try to continuously sell me unneeded services like the other guys did. Aside from the great results that they provide, I really enjoy their customer service; they treat me like family. Finally, I love the fact that I can call a local office and immediately talk to a real live person instead of going through an automated operator only to speak with someone in a call center hundreds of miles away. These guys started promising but have deteriorated to a point where I am going to cancel them. I have asked and been talked out of numerous services I think my lawn needs by a secretary that appears to not want my business. Poor coverage of my lawn and now I have weeds galore. BLUF: Told me twice services were completed on my yard when they weren't. Issues were only corrected after several tense phone conversations. I prepaid for aeration, seeding, organic fertilizer top cover, and 7 courses of lawn fertilization and weed treatment. Aeration and seeding was scheduled for 6 October 2018. Nobody showed up on that day. I called office at about noon time. "Marquis" told me the crew already showed up. I told him that was not true. Marquis then told me he would do some research and call me back in 5 minutes. 30 minutes later I had not heard form him so I called him back. He told me the crew drove by my house and confirmed my house was serviced. I told him I'm standing in my lawn and it was not treated. Marquis continued to insist my house was treated. I told him to check the address. When he did, he discovered the crew went to the wrong address! A crew was scheduled to come late afternoon to complete aeration, seeding, and apply organic top cover fertilizer. Crew came but did not put down fertilizer. I was told by crew that fertilizer would be applied Monday, 8 Oct 2018. On Sunday, 9 Oct 2018, the office called me and told me fertilizer would not be applied until Tuesday, 10 Oct 2018. When I got home on Tuesday, 10 Oct 2018, the fertilizer had not been applied. I called the office and Marquis told me the crew was there and put it on my yard. I told him I did not see or smell anyuthing. Marquis said he would call me back in 5 minutes. 35 minutes later he called me back and told me the crew scheduled to apply fertilizer had "run out" of fertilizer and that is why my yard was not done. He said it would be rescheduled. At that point I told Marquis I wanted a phone call from an owner. About 30 minutes later I received a phone call from a female in the office (not the owner) who told me she was sending someone out in the early evening to apply the fertilizer. He did show up and apply it. However, had I not known what seed or aeration looked like then I would still have an unaerated, unseeded, unfertilized yard even though I paid for it! I will return and write another rating when the services are complete. For now, I am giving two stars. The only reason I don't give one is because Dreamlawns gave me a $50 coupon toward future services. Of course, this does not even cover my time on the phone with them . . . . read more

For years I had beautiful grass. Then because of some medical problems (three years) my lawn looked very sad. Bob from Dream Lawns came out and assessed my problems. He told me the first thing he had to do is kill all the weeds and strengthen the grass I had. He said when it was the right time of year aerating and seeding would do the rest. He was right I now have the beautiful grass I was used to seeing one my lawn. I highly recommend them. Just listen to what they say and do what they recommend. Ask for Bob he is great. read more
