I am done with this company. Horrible HORRIBLE customer service. When I signed up for 3 services, I wrote a glowing review of them. Now that I've had them for 6 months or so, they have proven to me to be the least professional company... (or possibly just the Fort Walton Beach office). Everything is excuses. Excuses that they don't respond because they have been sick. Excuses that they didn't respond because they've been on vacation. I DON'T CARE! "We'll get that to you next week" ... it was THREE MONTHS! I've cancelled the one contract, and have to wait until April to cancel the second two. THEY ARE HORRID. read more

I had a termite problem that Terminix technicians missed repeatedly from 2023-2024. I had a literal ant piles forming against my base boards in my treatment room and the technicians told me they were carpenter ants. When my floors started coming apart, I confirmed with a flooring specialist that it was termite damage. I had to shut down my office (not seeing patients) while waiting a month to put in new floors, dry wall and cabinets back in July of 2024, plus I called and called terminix repeatedly and they charged me $2500 to come out and fix the issue. And it wasn't right away. I requested that I be signed up for a termite bond going forward and was told that I was signed up for the bond. So fast forward to 2025 and I just had my terminix technician come out today and he completely ignored the fact that I have termite damage throughout the door frame of my treatment room. There is literally a nest on the door frame! Patients have pointed it out to me even. I just called terminix back to have to technician return to address the issue, and the terminix rep told me that I do NOT have a termite bond, therefore no one will return to inspect the damage. This is another example of the lack of duty, responsibility and the repeated level of BLATENT negligence that Terminix has when dealing with its commercial customers! read more

Sub-Standard service from Terminix's Niceville, Florida office.  Technicians did not show when scheduled and did not even call to reschedule...had to call corporate office to get rescheduled and they didn't show again. Wasted two days waiting around for technicians to arrive..! When I finally did get my termite treatment done the technicians ran out of water and filled their 50+ gallon water tank from my tap without even asking. I was the first service call of the day and they were clearly not prepared. Additionally, while they drilled holes in the concrete and filled them after treatment was completed, they made no attempt to fill the 20 holes in the garage wall they treated. A clear lack of coordination between the inspectors, local management and the technicians performing the work. To make matters worse it appears the corporate/regional office doesn't care to get to involved with complaints. I was offered a $100 discount for my troubles and finally just decided to pay the bill and move on. I'm extremely disappointed a company of Terminix's stature, with a philosophy of exceeding customer expectations would allow such sub-standard customer service to occur. Strongly recommend staying away from the Terminix Niceville, FL office and choose Orkin or other local company like Bryan Pest Control. read more

Terminix is the most difficult company to deal with and will not be upfront when asked when they last treated or inspected your residence. Get ready for a lot of wasted time on the phone. As a new potential customer, transferred from one representative to another trying to continue a previous owners contract, was told different stories. The company representative stated that the product used by Terminix just 5 1/2 years ago previously was not good enough and said I would have to replace it. What happened to the 10 year commitment? Look for a company who wants your business, not your money. read more

I used to like Terminix a while back. We've been with them for 10 years. After reading various reviews online, I'm regretting it. Found termite damage in our home that we use as a rental. Called expecting to get a local on the phone but got a call center in Tampa. Girl on the phone said it will be up to 4 working days for them to get back to me. Today is Friday, not a peep. I seriously doubt that they ever inspected the house for the past 6 years. Stay away from Terminix. I may revise my opinion if they fix the termite damage quick enough read more

Terminix had a termite bond on a home I purchased, it's FL so you have to have one! The previous owner gave me the renewal paperwork so I called the 800# and gave my name for their paperwork and per their instructions sent in the $399 payment. I just found out they cancelled the contract in Feb 2019 and it took 3 calls and almost 2 hours of hold time to find out the contract was not renewable - but that didn't stop them from cashing my $399 check and never returning the money even though they had my address. Today I held for over 1 hour and finally got someone on the line who sounded like she could get the refund done for me and in the middle of it she hung up on me and never called back. So all that and they still have the $399 they stole from me. Not a reputable company! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Havent heard back from this company since i handed them a check. The check was post dated for the 25th of may, they cashed it on the 13th. They never called back to set up a time to treat my house as promised, they just showed up the next day while i was at work and called me to ask why i wasnt home. The tech that came to treat the inside of my house only treated one small closet, not the entire back wall as promised. The salesman i spoke to will not answer my calls, I have left messages and sent emails and still nothing. TERRIBLE customer service! read more

Terminix bait stations do not work . I am planning on taking this issue to The regulatory commission in Tallahassee I bought 17 of my own bait stations by Spectracide and 100% of mine were consumed , NONE zero % of Terminix bait stations were not even touched. I called for an early termite inspection , The Gent was perplexed as to why, but found no termite activity in our house, that was April 25 or 26 2017 April 30 I found around 20 unwinged termites at my back door in my basement. I was Told Termites prefer wood products over their bait stations? If this is true and it must be because All of my stations were 100 percent eaten --then their bait is useless. If truly Termites prefer wood over bait , I will always go for cherry pie and eat it rather than apple pie. Termites will eat the wood of your house rather than the bait stations that Terminix puts out. I am asking for both inside wall treatment and bait of coarse I will also buy my own. read more

HORRIBLE customer service. Period. I don't even know where to begin. We've had Terminix as our company on this house since 2011. I had recently called to get our house inspected because I had found several small termites by the window and wanted to make sure they weren't getting inside. My appointment was scheduled for a Friday afternoon, between 3-5pm, no one showed up. At 4:45 I called and asked where the tech was, I was told that they were only considered late 15 minutes after the appointment time, so I said I would call back if they didn't show. Well they didn't. I called back, told them this was unprofessional and unacceptable, my husband and I sat at home for 2 hours waiting for a tech to show, wasting OUR time, for no one to show up. They were then supposed to leave a message for the manager to call me back and set up a specific appointment time because I refused to wait another 2 hours for someone to not show up. Fast forward to another week later and I STILL have not spoken to a manager, I have called every day this week and every time I get told the manager isn't answering their phone, but they leave a message and an email. Still no contact. This is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. What kind of business allows their customers to call in with a problem, not show up and then never return phone calls. Not one I will be giving my business to in the future, and I don't recommend anyone else use them either. read more

If I could give no stars I would..... They doubled my yearly renewal when I had no issues and no warning. They also said there was nothing you could do about it. That are taking advantage of people. We paid a premium at initial investment and was told the renewal would be so much. So we either renew or spend a ton of money to start with another company. That is just wrong!!!!! I will never recommend your company to any and will tell everyone what your company is about.. Beware if you buy from this company after your intial contract you will get screwed. read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! We have been using Terminix for 2 years. We had two different accounts with this company and they could not get our payments straight. They accused us of not paying one of our accounts. We tried calling them 4 times to straighten the payments out. Each time, a representative or supervisor told us they would fix the problem, but never did. Right before the third incidence, we were supposed to have our house treated. We waited all day for someone to show up, but never got any call or notice that they were not coming. This month, an employee called the day before he decided to come spray to notify us. He had a major attitude when we told him we were unavailable to meet him the next day because he gave us such short notice. We cancelled our account because of the horrible customer service. We will never use this company again! read more

The salesman for Terminix failed to mention a $150 transfer fee for the termite protection plan when we bought our house from the previous owner / policy holder. We were told that if we paid two years in advance we would receive a discount on the second year. We paid for the two years and unexpectedly received a renewal bill the following year. No attempt was made by Terminix, either locally or nationally, to correct this problem, and multiple phones calls led only to wasted time. I will not be using Terminix for any other properties in the future and will make it known to anyone looking for termite protection to steer clear of Terminix. read more

I appreciate their extra efforts in contacting me about the time of their arrival for appointments. While the regional call center is not always as helpful - the local office is. read more
