DO NOT HIRE FOR MOLE CONTROL! I hired Critter Control to eradicate moles from my yard. After 7…read moremonths, the problem is far worse than when they started my service. After reviewing security cameras, it became apparent that some of the service techs (you always get a different one each time, it seems) just walked quickly through a portion of the yard, and then sprinkled some granular deterrents or placed a single trap and a flag. The tech would leave without reviewing the entire yard or checking all areas with some sort of focus. My yard is now overrun. They had no concern or questions when I cancelled my service which speaks volumes about the type of service you'll get if you choose them. Not worth the money at all.

Since then, they were a no show on the 1st appt to place the traps in the attic. Set out traps at appt #2, they were supposed to come out weekly to check the traps, after 3 weeks, had to call and find out what the heck? When are you coming back out? Scheduled for them to come out the following week, tech (Cory) checked the attic and said he didn't see anything but he had caught a huge rat st his last visit (WRONG) he can't get in without me and this was his 1st time even checking the traps! So scheduled appt #3 for today, one week since last visit and you guessed it..NO SHOW AGAIN! I work and have to make arrangements to meet them for this service. The kicker is I was told by tech (Cory) that he had to go to Gulf Shores today to give an estimate to a new customer! What about the ones you already have?! Would NEVER recommend this company..poor customer service, rather expensive and lie about catching "critters". P.S. my first company review ever, but felt so strongly I had to leave a review.

There was no…read moresnowstorm during this time frame, this is a complaint for service completed at the end of Feb - the time gap between service and review (as explained) is because we are not residents and didn't know there was a problem. We trusted the job was done and didn't know it wasn't until a neighbor alerted us the lawn was dead at the end of March. We then reached out to Harrison to try to rectify. Instead of taking accountability - he replied similarly - deflection, excuses and blame to the customer. An unfortunate and unprofessional response. We called Harrison to service a sprinkler system of an older relative who had just moved into a care facility leaving the home unoccupied. The ask was to service the system and turn on the sprinkler schedule for the season. Harrison serviced the system but failed to set it to run. We are managing this from afar so this was a critical and unfortunate oversight - and has resulted in the sprinklers never actually running (and the lawn being in terrible condition). When we reached back out to try to understand the issue, Harrison deflected responsibility, said of course he didn't turn the system on because the service call was on Feb 21 and he had concerns about cold so he left it off. (FWIW temps were not below freezing at the time of service nor any time after.) His solution was to suggest we get a neighbor to help out to get the system running. It is frustrating to pay $125 for a service call where one of the two asks was not addressed - we don't recommend nor will we be using him again.

Update; (May 19, 2025) I need a bait trap replaced. We have made 6 calls over the last 3 weeks. One…read moreregional "do nothing" manager promised last week that they would be out "tomorrow". That did not happen. There have been no follow up calls at all. This service is now so bad that it is almost comical. This has to be the absolute worst service as an existing customer that I have ever had, the shame of it is that no one at the office seems to care (AT ALL)). We have paid a decent amount of money to be ignored by this under performing branch. I need to be contacted by management and compensated for this AWFUL lack of service. On the website a gentleman is listed as branch manger. The big reason we went with orkin several years ago was because of him. Evidently, he has been promoted beyond his effectiveness. If this wasn't such a high dollar change over we would be gone. Please change my stars from 5 to zero!!!! Orkin is now a joke.

THIS COMPANY IS GARBAGE!…read more I am shocked at how bad and overpriced this company is. They never keep appointments and twice now they've cancelled an hour AFTER they were supposed to be here. Last week the appointment was between 10-12 and he sent me a text at 11:20 saying he and his daughter have the flu. This was after he showed up on the wrong day (appt was Thurs and he showed up Wed when we weren't home) Now I get an email stating they don't even know when they can reschedule, so bugs are starting to come into the garage and I'm sure soon the house, because they're almost a month behind. We're having our yard sprayed, so we have to notify the groomer next door and neighbors behind us so they can keep their pets inside for 35-40 minutes after spraying, so that's twice now I've had to tell them never mind. It's getting embarrassing. I wish that was the worst thing that happened, but a sales rep came over to discuss termite control and for some VERY strange reason decided it was perfectly fine to talk to me and my roommate about one of his clients having a sex dungeon and went into details about it. We were shocked into utter silence and all i could think of to say was "To each their own I guess". I called the branch manager immediately after he left and said I would file a sexual harassment suit if he ever stepped foot on our property again. I really thought they were the elite pest control company, but now I have to start the whole process over again with another company and because of this debacle, I don't know who to trust.
