I gave one star because the employees were nice. terminix treated my house for 2years and Christmas 2023 I unfortunately found a wall and wood floors fill with termites. area of 7x10 flooring and large amount of the wall eating by termites . So today, talking to the representative on the phone, she explains to me me "that when the Terminix inspectors come out, you have to request them to come inside the home , other than that they won't come out inside." For the amount of money you pay Terminix and I probably pay them about $1900. I could've saved that money and fix my damn house.. I will suggest that no one gets Terminix. It's just a rip off I have seen no results and prior to Terminex living in my house for 20 something years and I've remodeled in 2016 I've never had problems with termites soon as I got debates in my yard I have termite issues read more

Would give zero stars if possible. They are nice until you are signed up and on a payment plan. Then they don't return calls or show up to replace damaged bait systems. They promise a high level of customer service just to get you to sign the contract then they truly drop the ball with no shows, and paperwork stating they've resolved claims called in. It's a hustle for income for the company, they are not actually dealing with client's homes long term. read more

They used to be better, but it appears they have gone down hill. I switched one of my rental properties to them to save money. After a year the annual cost went from 250 to 399, much higher than what I was paying before. They said it was due to increased activity and there was nothing they could do. There are several other quality companies out there, don't choose Terminex even if they give you a great deal (bait and switch). read more

We have had pest control and termite contracts with Terminix for over 15 years. Initially the service was excellent.In the last 5 years we seem to have a new technician with every service. Also several months ago someone from their 800 number called wanting to put bait traps for our termite service. I told them we were happy with the liquid treatment. She kept insisting that this was just something extra. Well last week technician came out to check the bait traps, did not come inside to check for termites. I specifically asked about that. They also put the bait traps 8 feet away from the house. We have the baits at a house in North Carolina and they are all within 3 feet of the house. When you call the local number, you don't get the local office it transfers you to the call center. If this continues, I will be looking for another company. read more

Corporate office contacts me, a techie is dispatched, he has some reason he cannot complete the job, he leaves promising he will return but he never does and the phone number her gives me, he never answers. I call corporate again.... Same response. Three years, same cycle, still no resolution. read more

Last year I saw a tiny hole in my den valuted ceiling. My husband and I realized it was termites. I called Terminix and they came out super fast (to get my money). They then scheduled someone to come out and treat outside. But why outside and not inside if they are already there you say! I DON'T KNOW!!! Now a year and 14 days later I have damin my kitchen, over my back door in my den and 2 gaping holes in my den ceiling. They are horrible at returning calls, scheduling and obviously treating for TERMITES. read more

Got a termite treatement set up initially for $1,400 and when the time came for the next service, no one showed up. I made 2 complaints which went unanswered. They then sent me the renewal bill. I again made 2 more complaints about the sercive not being done. They then closed my contract due to non-payment (I did not pay because they did not service my house). I made 4 more calls/complaints, so they sent someone out which qouted me $1,800 to renew. This is FRAUD and very intentionally committed. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. Other conpanies are far more cost effective and trustworthy. I DEEPLY regret choosing Terminex. read more

Terminix Baton Rouge has over 200 Commercial HOA contracts with us and I had added my name to the list of homes to be inspected last year. I waited for someone to come, but no one came. Then on May 8th, 2018 Tuesday, I called the office and the employee said that they will come on May 12th, Saturday between 10-12pm. I waited from 9:30am to 12pm, still no one came. I called Terminix again and talked to a customer representative and she wrote down what I told her and said that she will send my request to the Baton Rouge office for someone to call and to set up an inspection and spray for the termite invasion that is outside and inside our home. Today is Saturday, May 19th. I haven't heard from anyone from Terminix. I am going to make a complaint with our HOA and to recommend that they cancel our contract with Terminix. I heard from other HOA members that they also waited and no one contacted them. I can't sit here forever to wait for Terminix to come spray the termites and wait for our house to rot from termite infestation. read more

I am surprised at the bad reviews as I have had good experiences with this company. I've used them for years. The technicians are always friendly and professional. If I need additional spraying they come out as soon as possible. read more

Everyone who has answered the phone at Terminix and scheduled my appointments have been very helpful and friendly. It takes a while of waiting to get through to someone, though. They came and sprayed inside our home to get rid of fire ants, which disappeared that same day. read more

They need to work on there customer service in the office and scheduling appointments. I've had them for a while and am not ready to close my account. One man has damaged my house and the manager said he would come out a d slap paint on it. Smh, not on my house. One lady ( Ms. B) in the office ( working from home) was very rude. She yelled at me over the phone when I asked her to use a different form of payment. She stated she couldn't do that. Later I found out she lied. Don't get me wrong I have had 2 guys that were nice and didn't damage my home, but they really need to work on these issues. They need to have a better process for damages. I talked to the manager his response was I'll talk to the technician and give you a call back with a solution. It's been 3 weeks, no call. I find myself calling multiple times to get good service. There has been a few times that they have picked up and hung up or I'll be asked to hold after holding for 20 minutes already. I'll hold but then after another 25 minutes they put you back in the que to hold again. My billing issue was never resolved. I wouldn't recommend this company!! Piss poor. Just received by "report" says the interior had no evidence of termites. How would they know? I wasn't home!! Spoke with the "manager" two days ago after someone from Terminix called and left a message on the answering machine, piss poor attitude and screaming the phone like it was a chore to come out and do her job. Told him I didn't want anyone at my house unless I was there. Guess what, they sent someone out this morning while I was at work. No more, I will never use them again. How do I know my house was inspected the previous times? Answer: I don't. Piss poor management. read more

This company just raised my monthly bill by $100. When I called to ask why all they would say was because this area has a lot of Formosan termites. I told them that a 60% increase was too much and they should reduce that since I'm a senior citizen. They could care less read more

1 star is way too much- If you like to waste time/money, use this company because that's what they're good at. I'm sorry, but if you schedule me at a certain time, you need to be there. My husband and I have wasted hours waiting around for a serviceman to come out and then you don't show up until hours later. That's time and money we have wasted taking off of work to ensure we are there for YOU on time. That's not how you do business! We will never be using you again nor will we ever recommend you to anyone. AND I STILL ALWAYS HAVE ROACHES IN MY HOUSE EVEN THOUGH YOU SPRAY ALMOST ONCE A MONTH! read more

Until now I've never had a problem with Terminix or it's associates. I received a reminder email regarding service for 5/26. I've been told before, if i requested interior service, to simply call. I wasn't having any problems but I wanted to have the interior sprayed. I called many days prior to 5/26 to request interior care and to my surprise the customer rep informed me my service was indeed on 5/30. I looked at the email again and told her my email says 5/26 and she insured me it was for 5/30. I asked her to repeat herself several times to make sure we were on the same page. On the morning of 5/30, it was raining. The terminix guy arrived and said he could not perform interior nor exterior service because it was raining and would return later in the week. I was perfectly ok with this until I received an email stating my service was complete and I was charged. This concerned me for several reasons because once the end of the week came, there was NO technician. I called customer service again, explained the problem and she apologized and said she would send another technician to my home on 6/6. The technician called and informed me he was over booked and wanted to arrive 3 hours early and I was ok with that. I explained to him my past problems and... he told me his ticket only indicated he was supposed to "re-treat" my home. He said he would contact his supervisor and make it right. He also said the other technician would come back and perform the service he was supposed to perform. I was uneasy about this because obviously this is a HUGE miscommunication issue. I asked him if he could get permission to perform both interior and exterior service since he was in route any way. He did it any way - not sure if he received permission but I'm glad he did because HE made it right. I've had Terminix servicing my home for 8 years and this has never happened and I'm not sure why it happened now. I pay too much money quarterly to have this kind of mishap. 3 years ago I paid $3000 for rodent / squirrel exclusion as well as $200 a year for renewal. The service has been terrible. The local office never answers the phone. They have sent the "wrong type" of technician out several times. Today they didn't even show up and I am still hearing squirrels in my attic. read more
