The overall dish tastes exactly like what you'd expect from your typical mall food court-style teriyaki, comforting, familiar, and dependable. They have a special which is for now but who knows how long that's going to last where if you get the chicken at full price for $9.39, you can get another one for half off which is a pretty good deal especially for the neighborhood. They have a special with chicken with cabbage and rice for $9.69 which I got though I don't know the difference between the regular and the special. It was decent. The sauce wasn't cloyingly sweet which makes it a bit better than Sarku. The chicken itself wasn't that tasty being a bit gummy and the rice was a bit hard in places while the cabbage lacked flavor. It's in short a bit better than your average fast food but not by much. I might stop to get two of these for cheap but for full price, there's better options (not to mention the half off stuff at Ten Ichi past 8:00.)
