Waited forever to even get a water. Once we walked in hostess asked if we had reservations. Place was half full. Other tables sat after us got water and bread before we even got greeted at our table stay away. Place need better waitresses and management. read more

To start, the fried mozzarella square is a nice start, it's what got me here in the first place, as a friend raved about it. The chicken parm is enormous, and easily split between two people (like most meals, actually.) Teresa's offers excellent Italian food that tastes home-made. Their sauces have a very fresh flavor, and their portions are very generous. You can't go wrong with their pizzas, either. When I moved back from the Boston area, I at least knew where to get a great pie! If you like eggplant, try it as a dish (no bitter tastes here, my friends!) or as a pizza topping. It's always crispy and adds a delicious flavor. The decor of the restaurant is a bit kitchy without any ironic intention, I'm afraid. Kind of old-school. But it does have a homey atmosphere that matches the cooking. read more

I dig this place. right on the way to Springfield and through the "center" of Ware this place does the biggest and BADDEST party pizza i know of. In fact (when i was a little kid) in Peewee football they would hook our team up with two party pies! Really good food, do mostly take out, platters etc. No complaints here! If your having a gathering it's so easy for them to cater it. Lasagna yum! Pizza is loaded with toppings, and salad with all the fixings. Heck the owner gave me a bag of rolls and tons of butter too!! Go there and you will be satisfied! read more

When I went inside for the first time, I was surprised how nice it was. Food was excellent, service was nice. I noticed the nice lounge area, they even have entertainment on Friday nights. A few weeks later I went to check out the entertainment, they had a person singing, it was very nice. Drinks were great and the waitresses were attentive. It's one of my favorite places to go to on a Friday night. Don't be late though, the place fills up early, get there by 7:30 to 8 pm. read more

Fantastic efficient knowledgable service. Apps were delicious, the rolls were divine and the dipping oil was delicious. Salads came out in a timely manner as well and the House dressing was delicious as well. The veal parmigiana was tender and the red sauce was really nice seemed to be homemade. The Veal Francaise was the best I've had in the Valley area-reminded me of the superior preparation of the veal franchise that one of my favorite Italian Family Restaurants (LIDO) used to serve. Nice light crispy egg batter in a lovely buttery lemon wine sauce. The portions were huge and the prices very reasonable. Great place for a family, group or intimate date. You can go to the North End in Boston or any Italian spot you want. I'd rather go to Teresa's. The food is fantastic with and incredible tomato sauce or gravy not to offend any Italian people. The service is top notch too. Especially Ronnie at the bar. Jen is also one of our favorites. Fun to be there and, enjoy a game , conversation or just relax. Wish I could pick a favorite dish but, everything is excellent(Veal Saltimbocca). By the way have the seafood even though an Italian restaurant as you may even like that better. Always fresh! Our group of nine was looking for somewhere to eat in the Ware area and Teresa's was right down the street. We didn't have a recommendation or any expectations, therefore we were pleasantly surprised. The service was a bit slow,luckily the warm rolls were served to keep us occupied while we waited. Dinners are served with soup or salad. The portions were large. I had the stuffed eggplant,which was delicious. The eggplant was thin and the filling was creamy. 12" Grinders (we call them subs) looked delicious. Shrimp scampi was a bit too greasy. We had to wait about 5 min. after everyone else got their food before the pizza, arrived, but it was worth the wait. The coffee didn't taste fresh. Decor is a bit dated. Teresa's Italian food can't compare with the North End, but it was better than I expected. read more

This place is a very nice informal Italian restaurant. The best part is that you can either come for pizza or for a complete 3 course dinner. The food is moderately priced and is quite good. We often go for a large pizza which feeds the four of us with leftovers to go. The pizza is above average with a great sauce and loads of toppings. Went to your restaurant tonight - asked for a specific waitress as she was family - hostess seemed to cop an attitude about our request - was not impressed. Seated in Bar area - waited 10 minutes for server who was not who we requested. Cocktail drinks were served in draft beer glasses - horrible! If I wanted 20 ounces of soda I would have ordered that. Ended up with 3 different servers. Food was over salted - extremely salted way too much. Servers never offered specials. Have no clue what was on special. Best restaurant in town, hands down. I've been going for many, many years, have tried just about everything on the menu, and have only once had a dish I didn't like (about 10 years ago--some pasta dish with an oil and garlic sauce). I couldn't recommend Teresa's more enthusiastically. The quality is great, the prices are great, the service is great (although it used to be better and the newer servers aren't quite as good), and the portions can't be beat! Teresa's in my opinion is nothing to write home about. Their drinks are pretty good, I order the Espresso Martini. As far as the food goes, their pizza is decent but their spaghetti sauce tastes like they simply poured on a can of stewed tomatoes and sprinkled it with salt & pepper. Teresa's is just a glorified pizza place-sit down food is less than mediocre and they take a long time for very very simple dishes. I know people who have worked in the kitchen and have heard it is dirty. To top it off the waitresses are not very good at their jobs either.... The only time I go there is when I have to because it is the easiest place to meet for friends or family. I try to get a simple dish. Honestly I avoid this place at all costs. I will admit I was compelled to write this review because I went to Teresa's about a year ago and had a bad experience. Then I just went last week and again, another bad experience. So it seems to me if the two random times I go to this restaurant and I have had bad experiences then it must be a consistent problem. This time I got chicken soup...should have been easy right...? WRONG! It tasted like manure, I am not kidding or exaggerating. Another comment I heard was that it tasted like a "men's locker room"... the waitress didn't ask me how my meal was, didn't even give me a chance to tell her the soup was awful. My guess is she already knew and that's why she didn't ask. I ordered lunch there once for my hour break (I used to work only a few minutes away). I didn't get my food until 45min later. I ordered soup and that was all I got to eat (thank goodness it didn't taste awful), I had to pack the rest to go. It seemed like our ticket got lost or something, during the slow lunch hour.... The fried mozzarella is probably the only decent thing I've had besides the pizza (meaning I would not feel remorse for purchasing it). Like I said it's a glorified pizza place. For the same amount of money you can have a better meal, more comfortable seating and a nicer ambiance somewhere else. read more

Was there this week, while the food was good as usual this is the first time we sat at the bar. My wife and I could not believe that the bar tender picked up a woman's glass walked to the ice well and used the DIRTY glass as an ice scoop, filled it with water and gave it back the customer. This is wrong for a number of reasons: first, it's gross and unlawful. Second, if the glass were to chip, the bar tender would not know. The customer would be in the hospital and the owners in court. All night long the bartender used glasses and her hand to put ice in glasses. This is bartending 101 folks. Using dirty glasses as an ice scoop blew my mind. I was also surprised to see the bartender drinking her over pours. I would have to say that if this is what the customers can see, I can only imagine what they can't see. I often write good reviews because I think that owners and employees who work hard deserve it, but I was blown away by what we watched right in front of our eyes yesterday. Watch an episode or two of Bar Rescue and you will be amazed at what you learn. Hopefully the owners read this and implement some needed changes fast !! read more

I have been going to Teresa's since I was about 5 years old, so their food is part of my DNA at this point. I've been around the world since then, and I come back to Teresa's for the seafood special du jour, the stuffed shells and their version of pizza. We are always told by the server they must ask to be sure as if they are very busy they may not be able to cook a special request-but they have ALWAYS done it for us and let us know the extra charge if it applies and I don't mind one bit. 5 of us went to dinner last night and my lasagna was fantastic. Done to perfection. Enough tobring some home. 2 others had the veal and eggplant which was very tough and they could not even eat the eggplant. When one diner told the waitress, she said she'd tell the kitchen staff. My family and I were in the area looking for a lunch spot and our first choice (which I had planned in advance) was closed, so when we happened to drive by Teresa's we decided to give them a try. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and given our choice of table. Within a few minutes our waitress came by and gave us menus, and she was very pleasant and helpful. My hot cold cut grinder was cut in two large portions and was very tasty, and my partner's cheeseburger grinder (presented in similar fashion) looked delicious. I ordered fries which were golden and hot. My partner's daughter ordered a side salad which was very fresh, and her order of fettuccini alfredo was piping hot and generous. Actually, the large servings were such that we all ended up taking part of our meal home with us to enjoy later. All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience and we definitely recommend this Italian gem in Ware to others. read more

we had zuppa d clams they were good but everything went down hill from there. next ordered the veal parm with linguini...it was horrible the veal was prepared... sorry did i say prepared? because what i wanted to say was rushed- it was a 3/4" thick 7"' disk of breaded mush that more resembled old roast under burnt sauce and cant even say the cheese was good but the cheese at least cloaked the mess. the pasta was wrong with the same over cooked sauce. i could not believe it could not even serve pasta right. so embarrassed in front of my wife just boxed both orders payed and left. never again. read more

Had to give at least three stars because the food is awesome. The bartender not so much. We had the pleasure, and I use that term lightly of sitting at the bar with bartender Jenny A few nights back. She attempted to be polite but you could tell from her fake annoying voice and eye rolls she is actually a miserable person that hates her job.
