service is always amazing!!! pico was spicy but yummy. i got a steak taco with cheese and there was sooo much meat on it for such a good price! my favorite taco place ever! green salsa is perfect

Burrito suizo with the pico and two sauses.

Simply amazing food and friendly staff. I think it's very authentic Mexican food. You get enough on one plate for two. You get pico sauce with chips and then they bring hot and mild salsa with your meal. Never had that before

Taco Dinner

This little restaurant has very good food - authentic and flavorful. We decided to eat inside; the waiter was very kind and attentive. The only con about this place is that it is super overpriced. We paid almost $60 for 2 taco dinners! You can go to a fancy Mexican restaurant and eat a lot more for that same price.

This place has my heart! Mainly for the reasons that their menu is elaborate and has a lot of the mexican staples you would expect from a Mexican Restaurant. The big win came when I saw that they have the Chile Relleno Burrito, this generations best food fusion. I've only ever seen that in LA. Came here with during a family outing and it turned out to be a great dining experience. It's not fine dining but the server put in sweat to make sure that we were doing well at our table. First, putting two tables together so we could all sit together. Making great suggestions on what to eat. Also occasionally checking in while she tended the cashier. The interior of the restaurant was decorated with its Mexican touches. On the walls you can catch sight of pictures and portraits of the Mexican Revolution. The television screen was playing some spanish telenovelas. On the tables you could catch the gold sharpie detailing of "Welcome to Tequila Restaurant ." The food was also up to par. The Chile Relleno Burrito was savory and the chile was cooked just right. The entire was family was not disappointed in anything they ordered. The deal behind it all is you get so much more than what you pay for. We ended up with so many leftovers. Burbank is lucky to have this place. You can catch these tastes up until 2am on weekdays and 3am on weekends.

My dad got the barbocoa burrito and I got the Mar y Tierra-skirt steak and shrimp wrapped in bacon. It's funny bc I ordered well done steak and it looked burnt but it wasn't! It was really tasty as was the shrimp. A little too much salt and they forgot my tortillas. The guacamole and salsa were really really good as were the chips. They have a to go counter so it made picking up the order quick and easy. People seemed to be enjoying themselves while dining. Overall, would reccomend and would come again.

We arrived around 4 pm and there was about a 25 minute wait. It is cozy so there were people waiting outside. The decor is more modern than traditional. They have a bar and TVs. Staff are warm and friendly and our server was Dulce. It was a busy day yet she would periodically check in to see how we were doing. We ordered the table side guacamole. It was made fresh at our table and hubby added a little more salt to it. We were also served a small bowl of salsa. The chips are warm and fresh. Hubby ordered the combo fajitas and a strawberry margarita. I ordered the steak enchiladas rojas and a pina colada. Everything was seasoned well and we enjoyed our meals. Kudos to the bartender for making great drinks!

Overall, the experience was solid. The consomé had good flavor, definitely one of the highlights, but felt like it was just missing that one extra layer of richness or spice to really push it over the top. Still, enjoyable. The birria meat was super tender, which we appreciated. Only downside? The cheese. There was a lot of it. Not a dealbreaker, and some folks might love that, but I personally would've liked the meat to shine a bit more instead of being smothered. Chips and queso were solid, and the tacos were satisfying. Cozy little spot near Midway, and the staff was friendly. Would I come back? Yeah, especially for a casual bite if I'm in the area again.

You'll find yourself paying $40 for a drink and $25 for a plate of seafood. It can seem backwards compared to a steak house or what not. The vibes are great on weekends catching a mariachi group coming in offering to play songs for money. And even if you don't pay for play, someone might and you can enjoy a song. I still don't know or even asked if they use fresh water or salt water shrimp. Most places like this use fresh water but charge salt water prices(you just have to ask/hopefully they're honest). The shrimp empanadas were ok. I wouldn't order again. The paella is alright nothing to brag about and very soggy. The champuzon was ok. Some parts of the octopus was really rubbery(as id expect is probably frozen). Oysters just do not smell the best. Overall, not my worse place. I'd say stop by try it. Do not have the highest expectations. Be cautious of what you order in mind of freshness. Sauces/salsas were good.
