I was there on Taco Tuesday on 10/17... I had Brennan as a server, and Leah helped as well...: both excellent servers ... food was great. Pricing ... not so much... how do you not offer chips and salsa as a starter for no charge ?! Far too expensive for what you get. I get that it's homemade but it's a little too pricey for Mexican food for its location. I also witnessed something that the owner had said to a patron. She was extremely unprofessional to this customer and this is not the first time I have heard her speak to customers this way. She seems extremely entitled and doesn't seem like she values people who work for her and customers who patron her establishment. After witnessing her speak to customers the way she did, not once but twice , I will make sure that I do not go back. We made a door dash order for this overpriced Mexican food. Waited an hour. The dasher reached out to us and let us know tequila lime wasn't doing door dash and we had to call. I called. The woman I spoke to said "our system is down and the order should have cancelled right away". Well obviously it hadn't cancelled because you made a door dasher drive to your location and wait for food that wasn't going to be made. Also they made a very hungry pregnant woman wait this long to get food. Now we have to order from elsewhere and wait probably the same amount of time. Needless to say, this is a poor way to run a business, as I will not go back here now. The person on the phone offered no solution and told me to have a nice day in a condensing manner. She didn't offer to have the food made right then and there and have the poor dasher who was waiting bring us the food or offer for us to come get it, knowing we just waited an hour for nothing and that I am very pregnant and very hungry. read more

I have been here a few times but recently something has changed. A friend and I went for dinner and got the always great avocado fries but when our main dish- steak fajitas- I was greatly disappointed. The meat was chewy and mostly fat. I couldn't finish it and was embarrassed to have recommended it to my friend. My sister in law loves Mexican so after visiting the bridal store, we drove 2 minutes to this gem! We ordered the plated version of 'holy jalapeno' and 'green monster'. I had the holy jalapeno and i don't think i saw any actual jalapenos, just tasted a spicy sauce. This had lettuce, rice, black beans, few roasted peppers and sauce over it. Nice presentation. I had very small amount of steak. maybe 3 pieces and 1 piece that broke apart. Tequila Lime Cantina is a good addition to the Fall River food scene. The entire place is nicely decorated with a subtle Mexican theme, but we really like the bar so that's where we usually sit. Drinks are good, they have some nice cocktails but I tend to stick with their classic margarita with the sugar rim. Food is tasty, I have a preference for their tacos, and I often go with their shrimp or choriço ones with the side salad. The cilantro lime dressing is divine and worth skipping the rice for alone. Avocado fries are the app everyone raves about here and for good reason. They're delicious and way better for you than potato fries. My husband likes the quesadillas and usually gets the BBQ chicken ones when we go here. Price-wise, I have not ever gone there without a Groupon, so I recommend you check there first before heading here. Their costs are typical restaurant prices, nothing unreasonable. The Groupon values are usually half off $20 or $40, so you'll get drinks or an app for free using one. read more

We were staying in a town nearby and our daughter wanted Mexican, after reading the reviews, Tequila Lime Cantina was the best rated with a sit down setting. We arrived at 715 on Thursday evening and were sat right away, but it took 5 minutes for our server to greet us, but she did bring us waters when she came. We ordered our drinks, one was a fresh squeezed margarita, our server forgot what my husband ordered (he had said water was fine) and instead of checking back, she brought two margaritas. My husband felt bad and said it was ok and he would drink it. They were good, fresh, crisp and strong $9 each. We ordered our appetizer a $7.95 plate of homemade chips and about a half-cup if fresh salsa (pico style, which is my preference.) we also ordered our food. We did receive our chips in a couple minutes, but we had finished our chips by 30 minutes by the time our food arrived (they were busy). They apologized that it took so long and they said they would bring us a complimentary desert. The food, though it took longer than we anticipated was worth the wait. I had tequila lime shrimp tacos, large shrimp and great flavor, perfect cook on them. Our party also ordered a chicken fajita, it was good, and hot, but was not sizzling when it came to the table. We ordered the chicken enchiladas, which came with 3 enchilada and rice and beans, very nice presentation and good tasting. We had a child with us and they ordered the kids cheese quesadilla which came with a side of the house made tortilla chips, it was a full quesadilla and my son loved it. Our entree items were excellent, For the side items, the Mexican rice was the best we have had in a very long time, the beans both black and retried, like previous reviewers, were missing any seasoning and flavor, my husband and daughter had the refried and only had one bite of them and pushed them aside. I had the black beans, I added the some of the habanero hot sauce on the table and that improved them immensely. I also ordered a house margarita with my meal, it was only $4 so it was a good value for a good lime margarita. They brought us churros complimentary because of our wait, we asked for them to-go as it was about 9pm at that point. They smell and look amazing, they are waiting for a snack later today. The bill was $90, with had 3 adult entrees, a kids meal, an appetizer, and 3 margaritas. We would definitely go back, but we would likely make sure we weren't starving when we went so the wait for our food wasn't a big deal. Arrived here and waited to sit for 30 minutes even though there were over 5 open tables so I was unsure why they weren't seating us. Finally sat down and the service was great. Food tasted good but after we left myself and the 2 others I ate with weren't feeling well. By the time we made it home we all had stabbing pains in our stomach and were extremely ill all night. We were extremely disappointed with the meal we had at Tequila Lime Cantina. First and foremost typically when you go to a Mexican cuisine restaurant chips and salsa are usually given for free. Here they charge $8.95 for chips with 1/4 cup salsa. The cost of the guacamole is the same with the same serving portion. It feeds one to two people at most. The chicken enchiladas were not edible. They use marinara sauce as the sauce for the chicken enchiladas. The combination of Mexican with Italian sauce did not go well. The refried beans were so salty you could not eat them. I went there with a party of 8 people. Not one of us enjoyed our meals. Sadly the bill was still $400. And sadly we still had to pay that even though the food was not good and the prices of the food are way over priced. The only good thing there are the jalapeño poppers. Which for 3 orders of those were $50. I do not recommend going to this place at all. Go to Fiesta Mexican!! Prices are reasonable and the food is exceptional compare to this place. read more

Well, I don't know. This is kind of a strange review to write. I went here for the first time about two months ago. I loved it. I started off with the homemade tortilla chips, then got the green monster burrito which was probably one of the best burritos I've ever had (sans meat). There were roasted red peppers, green peppers, onion, greens, lettuce, tomato and delicious, delicious avocado. It had the perfect balance of veggies and rice and beans. THEN I revisited about two weeks ago after finding myself craving that very same burrito... Hm. Started off with the avocado fries this time (I love avocado) which were fantastic. Great. Then I ordered my burrito, this time requesting jalapenos on it. The burrito comes. I take a bite. And it is probably the worst burrito I've ever had in my entire life. The only veggies on it are lettuce and tomato (literally nothing else, including the jalapenos that I requested on it). The rice and beans were somehow super, super dry. And it was lacking avocado, which is actually the first thing listed to be in the burrito on the menu. When the waitress came over and asked how our food was, I told her how bad it was compared to the last time I went. Did she offer me a new burrito? No. She just told me that they have a new chef. Like, really? Okay. He sucks. Fire him. I probably won't go back. Maybe for avocado fries. read more

I really really wanted to like this place when it first opened we have gone back several times and have held off reviewing in hopes of a good experience. The food is inconsistent at at best is slightly above Taco Bell and to be hones less authentic. Each time we go there is some other issue either will the bill being done right, the food being horrible or just bad service. Very disappointing. read more

Took the family to Tequila Lime, a new cantina in Fall River. I was exited for this place to open, because the only other Mexican option in the Fall River area is the woeful Fiesta Restaurant in Somerset, a glorified overpriced Taco Bell that makes you wait an hour for sub-par, unauthentic garbage drowned in cheese. I also made sure to NOT compare TL to No Problemo, one of my favorite restaurants in nearby New Bedford. That just wouldn't be fair. The ambiance was very nice, big bright windows everywhere, in an older space with beautiful hardwood floors. They have a full bar loaded with tequilas. Mexican guitar music was playing, and at one point there was a mariachi inspired cover of Metallica's "One" coming through the speakers which was awesome of course. I will go back here to try their Margaritas, but today I went with a Rogue Dead Guy Ale out of Portland, OR, a pretty delicious craft beer. We ordered the tortilla chips and guacamole, which was outstanding. The chips were homemade, and perfectly seasoned. The guac was rich and smooth with nice balanced flavors. I had the veggie tacos which came with yellow rice (a little bland) and black beans (piping hot, and delicious). The Veggies were grilled, and had a nice smokey flavor. The tortillas tasted good, too. Don't think they came out of a package. the two tacos also had mixed greens and a bit of sour cream. The salsa verde added a nice bite. The wife enjoyed her beef tacos as well, although she was bit put off by the use of iceberg lettuce. The kids had cheese quesadillas (not listed on the menu) and they gobbled those down happily. Our server was extremely nice and helpful. Service was excellent. Overall a great new place. I look forward to rolling in without the bambinos during the summer when I can crush two or ten tequila drinks at the bar. I bet the later-night scene will be a fun one. read more

I have been ordered for a pick up from here only twice. First time I ordered a burrito. It took me 15 minutes to get to work after picking it up. When I actually picked it up to eat only half of the burrito was wrapped in tinfoil. Plus is was pretty soggy and messy to eat. Sooo the 2nd time I ordered from here I got another burrito and asked them if they could wrap the whole burrito in tinfoil. They said ok. Once again I pick it up take it to work open it up to find there is no burrito but the box layed down with tinfoil and they just gave me the belly of the burrito (salad style). ARE YOU KIDDING ME PEOPLE?!? This place can't seem to get it together. I just wish No Problemos in New Bedford was closer. read more

My husband and I went there for the first time after looking at some of the reviews on this page. We were looking for a good Mexican restaurant, and we really lucked out with Tequila Lime. At first we were a bit skeptical because of its location in downtown Fall River--but this restaurant is a hidden gem! Once you walk into the doors, you feel like you entered an exclusive, authentic Mexican Cantina. The layout is open and inviting with authentic Mexican decor. You feel like you're dining alfresco because the walls to the outside are almost completely glass. What an experience! Not to mention the FOOD! For starters, we had the homemade queso dip with handcut tortilla chips--both were very good. For dinner I ordered the BBQ chicken tacos and my husband ordered the chourico and peppers quesadilla. I am not exaggerating when I say these were the best tacos I've ever had. The ingredients were so fresh; there was fresh arugula and other leafy greens. I was fully expecting the "mixed greens" to be iceburg lettuce (just like every other Mexican restaurant I've been to), but this place does not skimp on quality ingredients. The wait-staff was also very helpful there. I asked about margaritas and the waitress did not steer me wrong. Both my husband and I ordered two of each she suggested. She was very attentive and friendly. Pretty sure I found my new favorite restaurant, I will be visiting there again really soon. We decided to give this a try yesterday since we had a gift card and it was taco Tuesday. When we got there we waited a few minutes and then were seated. The interior was nice, although they kept tuning down the lights and turning music up making it hard to see or hear. We ordered our drinks. My fiancé got a margarita and I had a Pacifico. We waited 30 minutes for our drinks with no water or silverware on the table. Finally,when our drinks arrived we ordered food. Waited an hour before we got that. We each got 2 tacos, rice and refried beans. When the food finally came out we were excited to eat only to be very disappointed. The beans tasted straight out of a can, no seasoning at all. Just mushed up beans. My rice was crunchy and dry. I got the steak and chouriço tacos. They were pretty good. Not Mexican sit down restaurant quality in my opinion but edible. My fiancé got the chicken and bbq meat tacos and we say the same for those. Over all we were ready to get out of there and pretty disappointed. Also, before I forget that margarita. Not impressed. No flavor except for tequila. Not good tequila either. My fiancé didn't even finish it and we never let that happen. Needless to say we will not be back. A really nice addition to Fall River's thriving restaurant scene. Everything we ate was freshly prepared and tasty. This was my first time eating avocado fries and I was pleasantly surprised (what's not to like about avocados? nuthin') Our burrito was, well, a burrito (maybe a little shy on the beef for a "cow a bunga" burrito). The green hot sauce rocks. Although the margarita was pleasant, be advised that the red sangria is loaded with (what tasted to us like) peach schnapps. And we wished we could have ordered some local beer, maybe as they settle in to their groove, right? I'm giving Tequila Lime Cantina 3 stars in hopes of inspiring them to just take it one step further. Bottled sour mixes, lackluster beans, timid service and "meh" guacamole can all be fixed very easily. The decor and layout are inviting and have a professional feeling. I ordered the $4 margarita and it was very well portioned. This one is made with bottled sour mix but you can get the other margaritas with fresh lime juice for an upcharge. I ordered the Vegetable Tacos and it was a little confusing. It was all cold, fresh vegetables on what seemed more like a tostada than a taco. It was a good amount of veggies with lettuce, poblano pepper, cucumber and more but I was expecting hot, sauteed vegetables on a taco that I could actually fold and eat like a taco instead of having to use my fork and knife. Also, their Spanish rice isn't vegetarian so I declined that but it didn't reflect on the price on my bill....bummer. The guacamole may have been fresh but it had that sort of, almost too smooth, texture that the container guac from the grocery store has. In my book, if you're a Mexican restaurant you're main concerns should be having stellar margaritas and guacamole. Though I cannot rate the food because I didn't get that far I tried to go there this evening after paying for parking I walked in to the establishment said hello to the hostess she looked up from her phone to only look at me with a disgusted look and then she looked right back at her phone without a word. Then a minute later she looked at my son and said you are going to have to hang on a minute and looked back at her phone. Wrote something down and then walked away. My son and I looked at each other and walked out. Never have I been to a place where I couldn't even get a hello in response to my hello. Went here the other night with a group of friends and I highly doubt any of us will ever return. As soon as we entered we were immediately and aggressively harassed by a man asking us to come to some $5 comedy show. It was extremely difficult to get the attention of an employee so we could be seated, but after several minutes we were led to a table. It was very warm in the restaurant and for a Tuesday night it was very loud. The group next to our table in particular was *extremely* loud. Like, I've been in quieter Chuck E. Cheese's level loud. Even the waitress commented on it but no one ever asked them to maybe keep it down a little. It was a really terrible environment, we couldn't even have a conversation amongst ourselves without yelling over the noise. We also asked the waitress to split our check and she did not. On the bright side, the food was pretty good. We had avocado fries as an appetizer and churros for dessert and both were yummy. The prices were alright too. The drinks were not that great however, we tried the blackberry mint juleps. As I said, the food was good but the atmosphere left a LOT to be desired. My wife and I went here for an early Saturday supper. The bartender and waitstaff were super friendly and helpful. All the food is made fresh to order and was of high quality. They made vegan modifications for my wife and her burrito was the best she's had! Pro tip, order jalapeños on the side to add to the salsa for a extra kick. The homemade salsa is mild otherwise. I ordered the fish tacos which was missing some of the stuff it stated it had on the menu. No latin flavor. My friends steak tacos cubed beef cold. Would i go back, no menu is so limited. Stumbled upon Tequila Lime for the first time today, and stopped in for lunch. Love it!! The space is very old, which gives it so much character. Bar is nice, multi-level dining adds interest and breaks up the space. Service was fast and friendly. Food was beautifully presented, fresh and delicious! We have grouponed this place twice. I can safely say I haven't been disappointed but I also haven't been thrilled. Both times I informed the waitress on arrival that we had a groupon and still received a full check at the end. Both times it was fixed. The food however, is well priced if a little blah compared to some other Mexican restaurants I have been to. I absolutely cannot complain about the freshness of the meals. However they charge for chips and salsa (its all priced on the menu to be fair) and extra if you want anymore (the cup that came with the plate was small in my opinion) My husband loves the place which is why we keep going back but I haven't really found something to put this place over the top read more
