Rich was wonderful and so personable and friendly! He really made our experience great. Very cozy winery with a relaxed vibe. We got a bottle of the blend which was decent.

Came here 1 hour before closing last Sunday. We were on the way back to LA from SF and the thought of seeing a vineyard came about. I don't remember the hosts name but he was a very friendly, accommodating gentleman. The establishment was clean and organized from the entrance to the bathrooms to the lounging area inside. The wines we sampled tasted, some great, some wasn't our cup of tea, but we all ended up getting glasses of what we wanted. And we even left with bottles to share with friends back home. Recommend this place! Thank you for your hospitality!

Rich was a wonderful host! We came in as a walk in and he was incredibly warm and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the area! Would definitely recommend this place if it's your first time in the area. Not my style of wine, but it might be yours. Thank you!!!

I was looking for something closer than Napa and came upon this gem on yelp! Celebrated my 24th birthday with my friends and family, and I loved it! Great quality wine especially because it's women owned and made! This is a very homey winery, due to the cold weather we were inside but the outdoor patio is beautiful! Staff was so friendly, and created such a great atmosphere for us. Thank you Rich, Nancy, and Stephanie! You guys really made my birthday a memorable one.

Come for the wine - stay for the wine. Pub food - nope - don't do it... But again - the wine? Yes - yes. Loved the two white wine blends - Aria and Duet. Bought a bottle of each. Final bonus - the Chardonnay Port - can't wait to enjoy it with a nice flaky butter crust dessert! Very quiet and peaceful view and atmosphere.

THE BEST winery I've been too I'm the Tri-Valley. We walked up and automatically saw how intimate the winery was. The venue was beautiful and the workers were so so kind. The Co-Owner was so nice and personable that the server thought we had came here before! Their motto is Give Us 30 Minutes and We'll be Friends for Life. Their motto is correct. They continuously acknowledged my little one and even came by with a stuffed teddy bear. The wine was spectacular. You have to try their Zinfandel!! They also do custom bottle labels on the spot. They do team building for businesses and have a room in the back you can use. Throughout the year they have egg hunts for Easter and they let kids smash grapes. I can't wait to return. They are kid friendly! Hospitality Wine

Always nice to visit here. Great hosts provide a warm welcome. Make sure to text in advance to make a reservation. Outside seating has a nice view under the trees and umbrellas. Inside seating has comfortable couches. One of the few places where you can get both wine and beer. Decent tasting prices eg 10 for flight of 5. Food is also reasonably priced.

    What a view!! :)

Tenuta....only one letter away from Tenuto, the name of my beloved cat. When my gorgeous California cousin was planning our itinerary, she found this gem of a winery that happens to have a name she knew I would find intriguing. That's how we ended up spending a sunny May afternoon enjoying the wine and the views and the food at The Tenuta Vineyards in the rolling hills of Livermore. Due to the COVID situation, an advance food order and a reservation were required. Knowing that we would have an indoor table and that our food decision was already made removed the anxiety of wondering whether or not we'd find a table and our desired pizza toppings. We were warmly greeted by Rich and his colleagues, all who kept the water and wine flowing -- the "Friends for Life" motto felt genuine! Our pulled pork pizza was tasty. And the reserve list wine tasting provided generous pours of 3 whites and 7 reds. There was plenty of food and wine to share. When one of the team heard us mention the sparkling wine that wasn't on our chosen flight, she politely offered a generous complimentary taste. Nice touch! If we were in more of a beer tasting mood, Tenuta also offers a few interesting beers on tap. Another nice touch! And $15 discount was offered to defray the cost of purchasing a bottle of wine....yet another nice touch! After our tasting and meal, we sauntered around the seating areas and tap room. The amazing collection of LPs in the tap room and the cat photos and references gave Tenuta a wonderfully homey and mellow vibe. My sweet Tenuto would have felt as comfortable and relaxed as I did! Cheers!!

Where has this winery been all my life?! Tenuta Vineyard is my new favorite winery! Rich is the most hospitable host and tasting guide! I loved our experience today and will definitely keep coming back! Such a beautiful place and vineyard to spend the afternoon at! And over 30 wines to choose from! They have sparkling wine and beer too! You don't have to worry about creating a wine tour itinerary just spend the whole day here!

came in on Christmas day and was greeted by Rich, and after 30 minutes we became friends for life. we did a basic 5 flights for $10 and also the 10 premium flights for $25. Rich was nice enough to stay longer than he supposed to, and the entire time we was super friendly and courteous. Highly recommend this place and will return to them whenever I have a chance to!

Small, sweet place.. Parking is difficult and limited. There are plenty of choices and the best thing is they also have beer in case you're not a wine person. You need to know that you need to order your food ahead of time or you won't be able to order food when with arrive. (That was the only negative thing) Rich was fun and polite. He has a whole spew about the winery, how the owner is his GF & how he will be friends, like family within 30 mins.. everyone is polite and fun.

So that to me means it's top of the line membership as indicated by their pricing and what we get. So I feel I should get top notch deals, pricing and service. Turns out, we get the same shaft as the lower club members. Starting with the good, the location is pristine. Nice area with lots of room for kids and adults to mingle and play. The wine is also pretty darn good. Of course there are some better than others but I enjoy most of their wine. The service is also for the most part very good. The waitstaff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. Their food is also pretty darn good. It's not incredible, and a bit overpriced but it's fine enough. Their wine pricing is also fair (but of course with the highest membership we get the biggest discount). My biggest complaints would be the price gouging and lack of communication. We made arrangements on a Friday to show Sunday with 6 and asked for the "VIP space upgrade to lounge or upstairs Vista Patio Lounge (when available)". They said no problem. When we showed on Sunday they said it was closed with no notice. Just a sorry. OK whatever. We sit inside (6 people and 2 children) and they charge for 2 children a "non drinker" charge of $10 ($5 each). A head count charge for non-drinkers? For children? Total nonsense! I am spending over $1,200 a year here and you want to gouge me for someone's kids? Their tastings are $40 a pop which is really crazy. Our price is waived on this so that's fine but if you are not a member you are paying a lot for a little. The wines do take a bit of time to come and they don't give you a lot. Kind of a bummer waiting for the taste. We ended up with 4 appetizers (sliders $24, Charcuterie $25, Tater Tots $12 and Pretzel Bites with Grilled Sausage $16) 2 bottles of wine and $4.25 for water and the bill was over $250. Oh and top that off, with 6 people, they charge a mandatory 20% on the bill for a tip and are basing that with taxes (as the button default), not the actual sub-total so they are actually getting about 23%. All in all, I am not sure that the cost is worth what you get. I mean we are giving them a lot of money just to be members and then having to pay more and more for anything else that really should be included (like water and kids) makes this place just a bit too over-rated for me. Probably end my club membership in the fall and go someplace that doesn't place money first.

We had reserved the entire outdoor cabana area, but since it was raining, we moved the party indoors. The indoor area is really nice with wooden tables and fresh flowers. What's nice is that we can bring food in, so we had food doordashed in. They also have games like corn hole and jenga available. It was a wonderful afternoon of eating, drinking, and walks around their vineyards. My coworker said she has attended a wedding and a birthday party here. This is a great venue for a special event. It's not as large as Concannon or Wente. It's rustic and charming. I'm not a wine drinker, so I can't comment on the quality of their wines.
