Omega Winery is such a gem! We went for the Wednesday Flight & Bites, and it was absolutely amazing. For only $18, we enjoyed a wine tasting paired with sliders, and everything was delicious. The sliders were seriously so good, and the wines were a perfect match. The whole experience felt fun, welcoming, and such a great value. I also love supporting a woman-owned business, which makes Omega Winery even more special. Highly recommend stopping by, especially for their Wednesday Flight & Bites :) I can't wait to try their first Sunday of the month silent book club sipping event that sounds amazing as well. read more

Updated because wine not : Probably one of my favorite wineries in Livermore. Cozy, friendly atmosphere with top tier service from the owners and their staff. You literally feel like you're a part of their inner circle with how welcoming and inviting you feel upon arrival. The wine is superb. The interactive events they have are amazing and the food is unmatched. Definitely a hidden gem in Livermore! We walked in Saturday around 2pm. It wasn't busy at all. We chose the red and white wine flights to try. Alex, daughter and winemaker also came to check on us a few times along with the other female staff. She and the other staff were very friendly. Service was really good. I wished we could say we liked the wines. But they were quite bland and light for our taste. Easy to drink wines but not flavorful and bold enough for us. The Torontes might be the best white but it smelled really good to the nose, but too bland for taste. The petite Verdot was probably the best out of the reds. The reds were earthy. The whites were fruity. We did get to try the Rumored red and Barbera. But they were about the same as the other reds. They do sell charcuterie boxes, so I'm not sure you can bring food or snacks. They also have a winery dog there. It's dog friendly, but the winery dog doesn't get along with other dogs so the won't let the dog come out unless there's no dogs around. Nice, clean restroom with nice hand towels. They have indoor and outdoor seatings. But under seating is still open aired. read more

I'm so happy I discovered Omega road winery. It's in a warehouse district, so I didn't have very high hopes that it would be a good winery. What a pleasant surprise! The wines were all very good. There was also a food menu, albeit limited. The winery has decided to try serving food during football games, since many people had for the bar instead of the winery. By the way, this winery has sofas and comfortable seats, so it would be a nice place to watch a game. We enjoyed our wine, and we met the owner and family while we were there. A Sunday afternoon to remember at Omega Road Winery My fiancé, our 11-month-old son (yes, his first wine-tasting experience!), and I spent a Sunday afternoon with Alex and Nikki at Omega Road Winery in Livermore--and I simply can't gush enough about it. From the moment we stepped in, the space felt warm, beautifully appointed, and quietly elegant in a way that invited us to relax, feel comfortable, and enjoy the moment. The décor blends rustic charm with thoughtful touches--wood-tones, comfy seating, subtle lighting--and it immediately set the tone for something more meaningful than just "another tasting." Alex and Nikki greeted us like old friends, yet with that rare professional hospitality that makes you feel both special and at home. They took time to chat, to introduce us to the wines, and to share stories--without ever being pushy or staged. Their warmth and genuine enthusiasm for their craft shone through. I opted for the glass of Torrontés (which was luminous--bright, aromatic, crisp yet layered) and my fiancé chose the "Bold & Beautiful" flight of reds. The variety, depth and uniqueness of their local wines was impressive. We could see the care in every pour, discover flavors we didn't expect, and feel proud that this gem is right here in Livermore. We were so taken that we purchased a membership on the spot--a decision we both felt was more than justified by the experience. What struck me most was how inclusive the experience felt--even with our little one in tow. There was no sense of "kids don't belong," just a welcoming environment where we could savor the moment, connect, and plan our return. Because yes--we will absolutely return, and we will bring others. This is a hidden piece of Livermore's wine country that deserves to be discovered, shared and celebrated. Shame! Shame! Shame on me for taking this long to write a review! I came ages ago for their requiem for wine event. It was just amazing!! This was a funeral based event for the wines they would be retiring, and it completely spoke to my flair for the dramatic! The decor! The costumes! The mini wine caskets for the bottles! Only great things to say about Omega Road. Came here on my birthday after a not so great experience at another winery. From the second we walked in, there was such a warm and welcoming environment. We made ourselves comfortable and their couches and arm chairs and were met with friendly conversation. They even offered to refrigerate my cake for me. We were a group of 6 and we each ordered flights. The staff also brought us some lemon pepper popcorn which was so good and very addictive. Wine tasted great and was very affordable, the staff was so kind and sweet, and the ambiance gave the coziness of sitting in your friend's living room. Absolutely love it here and will be coming back! (Also they have a first responder and educator program which is pretty awesome too)! read more

Absolutely love this hidden gem of a library!!! Nestled in what looks like a commercial lot, this charming woman-owned and I believe operated winery is the picture of homey and comfortable! Couches or tables to choose from and a feisty yet sweet greeter dog named Millie! The wine was delicious the service was the perfect amount of helpful while allowing us to enjoy each other's company along with complimentary popcorn hehe we even got an early taste of a still in progress rosè which was already stunning!!! This is such a cute little place! It's like being at a happy family gathering ran by a father-daughter duo. I used Google maps to get here, because it's one of those if you blink, you will drive past the parking lot! There is plenty of parking if you head to the back. I was here for a Bar Method Pop Up class. I'm such a sucker for wine and working out together! We had class in a little tasting room, then followed by a tasting, complete with a fruit/danish platter. We stopped into this winery, on a whim (after leaving another winery we belong to). It was super hot. But alcohol makes for a great way to cool down. All 3 family members were *so* nice. We really enjoyed chatting about their different blends. We went to Omega Road Winery after discovering that one of our favorite vintners in Livermore was no longer in business. It was near Tesla Road so we decided to try some of the other local small producers. There are several and we stopped by a building that had 3 tasting rooms near a sign for Omega Road. None tasting rooms where we stopped were Omega, and were quite "dressed up" rooms. A bit confused we walked back towards our car and looked again at the Omega sign. It was at a small drive that led off the street to an even smaller tasting room. We walked in and immediately knew we were home. A real family winery; father and daughter make the wine, mom takes care of business. There were two other couples there as well and it was like a house party. Great experience and we loved the wine, bought 6 bottles. They are not open every day so check out their website before you go. We're definitely going back. Maybe we'll meet you there. ;-) read more

First Friday event.. Tonight we painted. Alex coaxed our our inner artist.. As always, Alex and her parents make you feel like family! A glass of the delicious Alicante Bouschet in hand helped get the creative juices flowing. Alex and her Mom held the class, while Ken held down the fort at the tasting. room. The wine is delicious. I'm not sure what happened the first time we tried to go here- and I was pretty annoyed that we took off work to go here and then they weren't open, but I have to revise my rating- because some of the wines are really good, it's a super small place and I really liked it when we finally got to taste here. That said, it's a really small place- call before you make a special trip. This little winery is a labor of love, and they've clearly got other jobs to make ends meet- so save yourself some grief, and call before you plan to visit- just to make sure they are going to be there. read more
