This is the perfect spot for busy people that need a quick bite to eat during their lunch hour. Given the grueling and slow service that I have gotten to know very well in Barcelona, this place is a refreshing change.
Although the food isn't anything impressive, it serves it's purpose. It's super cheap, quick and convenient.
The pricing works like this:
1. Each entree is 3,25 euros
2. Migdia option with one entree, bread of your choice, a drink and a dessert for 4,95
3. Menu option with two entrees, bread, drink and a dessert for 6,95.
There are many entree options to choose from, ranging from full salads to Fideua, mushroom risotto and chicken in bechamel sauce. Among the options also include ravioli, pork cutlets and assorted steamed veggies. The entrees are all packed in sealed microwaveable containers and can be heated in a microwave (there are four in this place!) and only takes about a minute per entree to heat. The dessert options are also plentiful: I saw rice pudding, yogurt, fruit, flan and cakes.
Overall this is a great place to get lunch during your work hour and is no frills. Cheap, easy and gets the job done. The food is nothing spectacular but it's sufficiently seasoned and cooked. read more
