Our waitress was really nice, but the food was not as great. The support staff, dropped drink on my purse and clothes. Pizza and taste was not impressive. The local beer offered was the only thing that was good. Will not go back. read more

Not bad, not good. Service was good, our waitress was on it! Took our order great, was fun and good about checking in on us. Towards the end kind of wish were were asked for a bill a little sooner but no biggie. Could tell there were definitely regulars which is great, I won't be one but was still fun to try out! Food was alright, but not great. I went with pasta. Menu is alright, nothing was sounding too good but I was satisfied with my choice. Drink menu could use some work, all sounds too sweet, big turn off. We went with a bottle of wine. Won't be in a rush to come back but also wouldn't be mad if I somehow end up here again. We love love Ten Tavern for the atmosphere and location and would give both of these things a 10 out of 10. The people that work there are also fabulous! The food, however, needs major work. Most of our community agrees on this, the food has been very inconsistent over the years and the menu is constantly changing, but not for the better. For example, last night when we went, the nachos were horrible. The chips were hard and had all kinds of strange toppings. Not normal nachos. Also the kids pasta was pretty bad. The sauce looked like normal paste. Nothing homemade or special about it. All of our friends agree that it is overpriced for the quality of food. They are putting out. There is nothing on the menu that we absolutely can't wait to have. We love supporting this local spot, but wish they would pull it together with the food! read more

We were a party of 6. We arrived about 11:20am we had no reservation we waited 30 min for a table which was fine. They seated us outside on the patio, was fine being they have heaters. It took the waitress 20 min to come take our drink order she did bring water the drinks took another 20 min to come out which was sodas and 1 bar drink. She took our order we asked if the heaters could be turned on and she sated yes but unfortunately they were both out of propane and she stated she would send someone to replace it. 30 minutes go by and the waitress comes to tell us they are out of shrimp for 2 of our orders, we then ask for a menu so 2 people in our party can chose something else so 15 min goes by no menu and young man brings out some Nachos we ordered and i asked him if he could please call the waitress we needed a menu. At this time we have been at the restaurant for about an hour and a half the waitress finally comes back to get the orders of two people. A few minutes goes by the party at the table next to us leaves and we move their heater ourselves. At this time we were very disappointed in our service we paid for the drinks and nachos and left a tip. We went inside to pay and there were empty tables which was even more disappointing being we were freezing outside and never offered a table inside when one became available. I also tried calling this morning to speak with a manger just to share our experience and I was told they were not in and use an email that was provided to me. We also witnessed another couple leave the patio because no one came to greet them. We were really looking forward to this as we were there for a birthday celebration. read more

This is a small, simple place in a shopping center - nothing special. We were greeted upon entry and seated quickly. We are not big eaters so we decided on a wedge salad and loaded tots. The salad delivered. It was fresh, plenty of toppings, and more than ample size. The tots were horrible and the waiter didn't care. First, they were cooler than room temp. Based on the time we waited, I think they forgot to serve them. We pointed out the problem to the waiter. No apology just grabbed the dish and left. Less than 5 minutes later he dumped the dish on our table and kept walking. The microwave warmed the dish but made it into mealy goo. I stuck to the plain tots. The waiter eventually asked if we needed a box, to which I replied no as it was a horrible dish. He walked to the kitchen and brought back our bill. $30 for salad, stomach ache, water, and shit service. This was my third visit. The food had been disappointing on my earlier visits but certainly not this bad. NOT GOING BACK. read more

Decent bar bites, solid drinks. Great place to watch the game. Service is good, no issues there. Everyone is really warm and attentive. Inside of the restaurant is nice, but the patio seems even nicer! Will have to try it out when the weather is nicer. Burgers are pretty darn solid. Flat Iron steak is tiny, probably don't order it if you're hungry or a big eater. I doubt mine was even 6oz. It was also covered in a chimichurri sauce, which is fine with me but I found it was weird that it wasn't mentioned in the menu. The price is also too high for a plate that small. read more

Wanted to give this place a try. I can't say if my review counts as I only had one thing on the menu. I'm sure other things might be good but I came with friends & I'm celiac and I'm aware this is last place to go to. But, I ordered the chicken Caesar salad and I can't believe it's on the menu. It was ice berg lettuce from food maxx poorly chopped and the chicken reminded me of the pre packaged one you get from super market. It was terrible the dressing was even worse. I don't think I've ever had a bad Caesar salad until I tasted this. The waiter was kind and I didn't even want to refund it or dispute with my bank due to fact that I want Clovis business to remain. But my god that salad was unacceptable. Hopefully I can save someone from that salad. At least take it off the menu and stick to other things. My friend liked her meal so I can at-least know it's just the salad. I would give a one star but it's only one thing off the menu. I most likely won't come back that salad really tipped me off and did I mention it cost $20? Ya...I could have made the exact salad for $2.50 in this economy that's how bad. read more

Nice spot to come and have a drink. They have a bar and also have a few tv's with the games on. They have a good size outside patio area. I have seen people reserve the whole patio for parties. Indoor dining is pretty spacious. Food ordered: -caprese salad: very simple, but I love this. -flat iron steak: I usually oder it with Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. I love the Brussel sprouts. The list of sides are on the weekly specials menu. Drink: - I love that they sell Crow & Wolf here which is a local Clovis brewery. They mix the dark horse and stargazer together and it's such a great combo. read more

Went here last night with a larger party. We were all very pleased with the service, staff, and food! It was a little loud, but it had a tight and cozy feel to it in the restaurant without being too claustrophobic. Plenty of seating outside that seemed less crowded in seating. The loaded tater tots were great and the Ten burger was a true perfect ten!!!! Food seemed to be salted just perfect; from the fries, the tots, the burger, and the steak tacos! This place has definitely gained popularity. It is a fun place for a date, girls get together, or just to have a bite to eat with family. They have pretty, but not too fancy food at reasonable prices. On this particular date night, my hubby and I ordered a couple beers and had a hummus plate ($12) and the chicken nachos ($15). I would order the nachos again. They were big and full of flavor. The hummus was light and very delicious, but I liked the nachos better with the beer. In addition to beers on tap, there is also a nice selection of wine, cocktails. While it is pretty small and cozy, they have both indoor, patio and bar seating. read more

After a very long day of shopping and general errand running me and my family decided to try something new which isn't generally a good idea. We were tired and hungry and so were the toddlers. We were immediately smitten by our server, Taylor. She was kind and thoughtful and offered recommendations when deciding between two or more dishes. Later, there was an issue with my meal (not going to speak on that) but how she handled the situation is a direct reflection on her, the management and ownership of this restaurant. She went above and beyond to make us happy. She had the foresight to acknowledge what we may need with a takeout order. Who does that? So will we be coming back? Absolutely. Had the southern fried chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Sandwich was decent. Not sure what bun was used but it's actually pretty good. Fried chicken was okay. It was lacking a bit of flavor. Ordered wings and buffalo cauliflower, through Door dash. Wings were okay. Buffalo cauliflower was soggy and WAY too salty. The sogginess could have been just because it was Door dash. I made a reservation 2 weeks ahead of time. I left a note and I called and spoke to someone letting them know it was a surprise dinner. I even went in to drop off the cake and cupcakes the day of the dinner and let them know AGAIN that it was a surprise dinner and that is why I was dropping the pastries off early, they let me know they would refrigerate the cake and that it was no problem. Reservation time was at 7pm I let them know my friends would be arriving BEFORE me because I was with the birthday boy and it's a surprise.. the reservation was for the patio area I let them know it would be about 15+ plus when my friends arrived the waiter didn't even know about the reservation.. nothing was set the tables still needed to be moved together and there were other ppl sitting in the back that they had to move over.. we arrived 30 mins later sat down ate, chatted and when it was time to bring out the cake I went inside and discreetly told our waiter to bring our cake out because we were just about to finish our food and mind you it was apart of the plan.. 10 mins or so go by and she comes out and infront of everyone she goes "are you sure you brought a cake because there is no cake back there" of course everyone is looking around confused and I look at her and tell her I brought it by around 1pm this afternoon.. and they added a note to it and placed it in the fridge. She then proceeds to ask me what fridge. I told her I don't know because I obviously wouldn't have that information assuming the staff would be better prepared. She goes back and spends another 10 mins or so looking for it and comes out with it and saying they finnaly found it and lit the candles and we sang happy birthday but it was just a bummer because it was suppose to be a surprise and just ended up being a headache. The food was good but overall the staff was unprepared, unaware & didn't even know about the reservation even though I made sure to send a note on the reservation, call and speak to someone and even showed up and spoke with someone in person again? Cool place to eat not a good place to make a reservation for these kind of events. read more
