This place has a cool vibe & definitely seems to attract a good crowd. But far as service goes, definitely SLOW along with getting our order. For the food, it was alright (though, the loaded tots are very good). I got the Monster Burger, it was smothered in ketchup (first time for me) so I wasnt to thrilled eating it, but once you could actually taste the burger, cheese & bacon itself, it wasn't bad. My son got the Chipotle Chicken pasta (I believe that's what it is called) he thought it was alright, but I never tasted it so I truly don't know. We visited for my stepdaughter's birthday and made a reservation for brunch. It was quite busy, so we were seated in a back room. Our server brought us water and menus, and we found the drink menu already on the table. After ordering our drinks and a breakfast charcuterie board, we placed additional drink orders, along with our entrées. As the morning went on, we decided to change our drink order. That's when the server mentioned, "Oh, let me bring you the brunch drink menu." We were surprised to learn there was a different menu -- one we hadn't been shown earlier -- which included bottomless mimosas and other drink options we could have chosen from. The food was decent, but the service was a major letdown. Our server seemed eager to rush us out and barely interacted with us. She never mentioned the brunch drink menu, even though it was clear we were there for brunch. In the end, I spent nearly $400, which certainly isn't cheap for a brunch experience. As for appetizers I always appreciate the classics such as taters tots or buffalo wings, so delectable! Plus for an added bonus, you should get the total with cheese and steak For the main dishes I recommend the sliders, the margarita pizza, the hamburgers specifically the clovis burger. Fantastic service. My steak was not cooked to the temp I ordered but was still incredible. Tells me they use a reputable distributor. I personally like a "hard" baked potato...so I was happy. My husband and I have always loved this place. Last night we attended the National Lampoon vacation event. 8 course meal and 5 fancy drinks while watching the movie. My wife and I arrived at the Tavern around 10:30, once inside there was no host or any employee around except the 1 waitress taking an party's order. We waited at the host stand until 10:45 and ended up leaving as we were never greeted, still standing at the host stand. Two other parties walked in and were also waiting behind us. It's crazy that she never said hi, or I'll be with you. Nothing. No bartender, no host, no manager. Just the large group and 2 seats tables with no food or drinks. Do not recommend! read more

We came in on a Saturday at about 5:15-5:30. The place was pretty open with seats. We walked in and gotten seated immediately. There are bar seats, bar height tables/chairs and standard table size tables and chairs available. Waitress and host were lovely! Took order and food came out quick! We ordered the special cocktails (available when football is on) $5! They were the Bloody Mary margaritas! We really went for drinks but ordered the buffalo sauce cauliflower. That was very disappointing...the batter was soggy and fell off the cauliflower as soon as you picked it up with a fork if you can even pick it up with the fork. The sauce was overbearing and super heavy. You couldn't taste the cauliflower cause it was really overcooked and soft. She was nice enough to take it back and take the item off of the bill but she did suggest the bang bang shrimp. Which was good but for $19 I don't think six pieces of shrimp was worth it. (Not her fault). Overall, great drink for $5, cute quiet place. read more

Atmosphere was great. Service was great. Food was great for the most part. I was with friends who had ordered the Clovis Burger and the Perfect Ten burger. Everyone was very happy with the burgers. The meat to bun ratio was just right. The meat to both burgers were cooked just right. The fries that came with the burgers were hot and crispy and doused with a layer of batter to make them more crispy. I on the other hand ordered the Ahi tuna poke bowl. It was decent. Not something I would order again. It contained peas which is different. The sauce used was your average sauce that does go with poke bowls. The tuna tasted fresh but was just not enough to cost at the price of the dish. It had edamame and rice too. If you're a poke fan you may like it but if it's your first time, I wouldn't try it here. All in all it's a great place for food. I'm sure the drinks are good too. But if i came back it would be a burger for me. read more

3 stars, because the food was good, staff was nice. However we were forgotten about a lot sitting on the patio. Had to ask for plates silverware and napkins cause they never brought any. I assume it was just busy inside, and easy to forget outside service. Also the waiters had no idea what tables ordered what food. Waiters were walking around asking who food is who's food with everything and they weren't even our waiters if your paying almost $300 just bring the food to right table. Could have been a fluke night of unorganized scrambled eggs brain. Still worth giving it a try though. Don't let this review scare you off. read more
