Wow this salon is pure luxury. From the moment I walked in I felt so taken care of. Everything is spotless and the whole space has such a chic and relaxing vibe. Michaela was my stylist and she was amazing. She really listened to what I wanted and paid so much attention to every little detail with my haircut. I do have to mention that the scalp massage was next level I could have sat there forever. On top of that they made me a delicious espresso from their fancy espresso machine which just made the whole experience even better. I don't recommend Corine Vesa as a stylist. I went in for a root touch up and glaze. She toned my hair very dark over existing blonde highlights. I only wanted it brighter and less brassy. I walked out with dark brunette hair. I was clearly unhappy and she said it would lighten up and she only added ash. She royally messed up my hair color. I paid for her service, plus tip. I had to get another stylist to at a later time add highlights to add some brightness, costing me money. She not the salon took zero ownership of the results or offered any solutions or apologies. read more

I finally bit the bullet and got my first haircut in a salon since COVID. I followed my stylist to this salon (Dena) and if you book with her you won't be disappointed with her work! Unfortunately the day of my service Dena wasn't feeling well but the salon was able to fit me in with another stylist at the same time (Jessie). I also had the option to reschedule but wasn't able to make it work with my schedule. I was very pleased with the haircut I received from Jessie and she was extremely sweet! Would recommend her if you're in the market for a few stylist. Ten Salon gets 5 stars from me because of the lux atmosphere and experience they offer! Upon arrival I was offered a beverage which was a nice touch. The salon is gorgeous- it is clean and stylish. Danielle has been styling my hair since I moved to Jacksonville in April. She is excellent with color and given an awesome haircut. My granddaughter is starting school and needed a haircut. Wow... after calling so many places around town to get in for a haircut, was unable to get in until I finally lucked out and was able to get in with this place today, especially on a Saturday!! My hairstylist was Jessie and she did an AMAZING job!! My hair had never felt so much better. My boyfriend loves it! He thinks I'm more comfortable with my hair being short. I'm so happy I came to this salon on such short notice because of it being a Saturday and there was a cancellation, I'm very happy with how my hair turned out and how much better it feels! I went to this Salon to have caramel highlights done for $259.00 and I went home with breaking green hair. The following day I called and another girl fixed my hair coloring but my hair was under stress already and needed a lots of treatment. But after 2 treatments the manager wanted to charge me $$$ to treat my hair from the damaged they caused to my hair. I won't ever go back there again. read more

What a great salon! I called earlier in the week and they were able to fit me in with Dana. Upon arrival, I filled out an information sheet and was put on a smock. The staff was super friendly and provided wine while waiting (I arrived 15 minutes early.) Dana was on time and we had a consult and discussed my hair goals. She is super witty and fun. I got highlights, low lights, a Kerastase treatment, and haircut. It was my birthday and they give you a special treat. Not sure how this place has almost 5 stars. Long story short, I would not recommend this place to friends, family or even an enemy. I asked for Balayage and instead got highlights that made me look like a skunk. I was confident in choosing this salon because the receptionist I spoke with on the phone told me everyone in the salon is trained in balayage and that I would be with a "level 4" colorist. Also, I had made an appointment for both balayage and a haircut and was asked to come back for my haircut some other time because my color took too long. Fortunately, Klara stepped up to the plate and did my haircut since the stylist I had requested originally was not able to even though I made an appointment in advance. All the employees were talking smack about each other while I was getting my hair shampooed. Overall, i just felt really awkward throughout the whole experience and it seemed like I was a burden. I have no issue paying for high quality service but the final outcome was definitely not worth ~$300. read more

I had a more than "week in advance" appointment with my stylist. After waiting for fifteen minutes, I was told it would be five minutes more. After forty-five minutes of waiting, I called my husband and had him pick me up, as I don't drive and couldn't wait further. Not one other person walked in or out during that period of time, and I could see the Salon was having a slow day. I think, in a service-based industry, waiting 45 minutes for a dry haircut is unacceptable. I gave one star to Erin for getting me a glass of water. I'm very unhappy..... read more

Being a daughter of a hair stylist, I'm very picky with where I choose to go and who to trust with my hair. Ten salon went above and beyond with my hair. They all are very professional and made me feel welcomed( not only the person doing my hair). I got done a trim, dye and blow out. I'm very hard to please especially when it comes to my hair, but I had no complaints. I'm actually do for another appointment soon :). The prices are high( in my opinion because I'm not used to paying much for my hair because of my mother) but you definitely get what you pay for. I had lines of demarcation and she got "tired" at the end and just slathered color across the bottom. asked if we "should dry it a little bit to see how it looks" Then charged me $52 for drying! No style. It was uncomfortable. She sat me in a damp cold room to set the color. The hair wash was in a shallow bowl and splashed water all over my face. The worst ever!! read more

Overpriced, unexperienced, untalented garbage. I was on vacation from long island in FL. I lived in CA before and have had my hair done in all those places. I am not wealthy but i have long hair and I do splurge sometimes on a fancy place. This is a Kerastase salon- i love kerastase products but this was such a horrible horrible dissapointment. A. they gave me a Kerastase treatment, they did not leave it on long enough. Sprayed it on, washed it off 5 seconds later, did not even massage it in how you are supposed to. B. The haircut was okay, nothing worth 75$, it was equal to a supercuts type of haircut. C. The blowdry was HORRIFIC. I told her i do not like a certain product when we started yet that is what she used in my hair and after blow drying it, it was a tangled gross mess!!! How is that even possible after a treatment AND a blow dry that the hair is frizzy and tangley and nasty???? she followed through with a boar brush to make it better - maybe you should have switched brushes earlier ???? I can not believe i was such a fool to think that becuase it is a Kerastase salon i could expect quality. I try not to think about the money i parted with and how much more i could have gotten from my chain salon here. read more

Britney, their salon manager even confirmed everything the week before she ultimately canceled on us... The salon's atmosphere is warm and friendly and very clean, too...The stylists at Ten Salon listen to you and understand thoroughly your preferences and needs. They are fabulous at coaching you to understand what will work well for you...and then giving you the style you that is perfect. The various stylists are friends...they don't mind if, in a scheduling pinch, you must use an different stylist. I cannot recommend Ten Salon enough...you won't be disappointed! read more

I used to get my hair done there but after finding out that there was black mold inside of the building, I had to leave. Not only that but when I would get a glass of water or soda, it would come out in a dirty glass. The glasses weren't even properly cleaned! I saw lip stick on most of the glasses I was being given on multiple occasions. I have been a client of theirs for about 6 years but I am through with them! Don't go to there! The boss Sheila Powers is rude and the whole salon is extremely catty. They hire shampoo girls who don't even have a cosmetology license. This means that if you get your hair color done, these girls by law aren't supposed to touch your hair to wash the color out because they don't know what they are doing. You never know what kind of service you are going to get there. It could be good one day and terrible the next. This place isn't consistent ever and they are just terrible. There are so many other salons out there that are neat, clean, have a friendly staff, and you know what kind of service you are going to get. And above all they hire licensed cosmetologists even if they just shampoo! read more

Katie H. has been cutting and coloring my hair for YEARS. We have been through every shade of blonde, shape of bangs, and length of hair together and it has always been a blast. She listens and is on trend, but timeless at the same time. Every time I go to Ten, I receive wonderful service and I have fun! I am constantly complimented on my color, no matter what Katie and I have decided to try. :) She knows what she is doing. AnneMarie - what can I say? She's FANTASTIC! I moved down here after getting married in May. I had been managing the #1, top of the heap, multiple award winning, high end salon in DC for years and I didn't want to have a "hair affair" on my old salon. I kept going home for cuts with my old owner, but it was getting to be too much. So I called, demanded info about the various stylists, and made an appointment with AnneMarie. And she absolutely delivered! I had over grown layers that she shaped and tamed. She cut my bangs (dare I say better than my old owner...) PERFECTLY. I showed her 3 different pictures of how I wanted my hair and bangs to be - on cut day, grown out 4 weeks, and then grown out in 6-8 weeks. Not only did she nail it on cut day, here it is 3 weeks later and the bangs are right on course! I have a bang trim scheduled next week and will then make my next appointment with her for every 8 weeks or so. I'm a TOUGH customer. As I mentioned, I managed THE top salon in DC (in the top 8% in the nation) and our entire success was based on White Glove, 5 Star, EXTREMELY High Level Customer Service coupled with the talent and abilities of our service providers. And AnneMarie would fit in PERFECTLY there. But she's not moving North! Luckily for us here in Ponte Vedra, she plans to be here for a long, long time. (I asked if she would be interested in leaving... her not knowing I was prying, and she said, she loved it at Ten and had no desire to leave. PHEW!!! She's saving me some airfare!) I have one tiny bit of constructive criticism, and this is for the owner, not AnneMarie - new towels. The edges were a bit frayed and, because I was LOOKING for reasons to fly back to DC for cuts, I noticed. Also, the front door was confusing. There are 2 front doors, but only the one on the right works. I know it sounds silly, but an elegant arrow with "entrance" or "Welcome" would cut down the confusion when getting there first thing in the morning and thinking the salon was closed.
