I recently got recommended to go to Grace for my blonde highlights, and it is the best decision I have ever made. She is the only stylist that has gotten my blonde highlights as bright as I have wanted it for a while now and I am the happiest I have ever been with my hair. Not only do they have amazing hair experts who can whip up a variety palette of hair color schemes; they also have amazing makeup artists, braiding technicians and micro-blading experts. To top it all off... THEY HAVE A PHOTO STUDIO TO CAPTURE THEIR AMAZING CREATIONS! I've visited three to four times, as of today, and must say received nothing less than the best services hands down. In 2014 I decided to go with a pixie cut. A super talented stylist in Chicago gave me a look that was beyond my expectations. Then I relocated to another state a few months later. I visited a handful of salons to maintain that pixie cut to no avail. I had to keep my haircut and color simple for years to follow. I returned to Chicago this past summer, but that pixie stylist had relocated to Arizona. Bummer. I decided to visit a different salon and spent a boatload of $$$ for a cut and color that was disappointing. I relocated to the Beaches area this new year. Two months in and a few weeks away from starting a new job, I needed to cut my mess of a mop. I reached out to a well known pixie hairstylist I follow on Instagram. They responded after a week and told me that Sage Salon would be my best bet in Jax. I stalked Sage's owner IG page for a week before I reached out to simply ask if they had a stylist who legit was great doing pixies. I received a text from Alex telling me she was the one. She had an opening this coming Saturday due to a cancellation. I took that appointment. Not to drag this review on...I kept my eyes closed through the entire cut. Alex was super gracious and maintained a good convo going, which helped with some anxiety I was feeling. When it felt like she was done and was going to start with the styling part, I opened my eyes and had to hold back some emotion. It was exactly what I wanted. Just as sexy a pixie cut as my first in 2014. Finding Sage Salon and Alex is a blessing. The salon itself is very open, chic, and walls adorned with great real client/model color saturated headshots. Alex did a terrible job with my hair. it's the worst haircut I ever had! I have showed her multi times of the pictures of the hairstyle I had and she assured me she could do it 100%! My hair ended has a dramatic triangle shape! No layers, she did a second try to fix it, but it still looked terrible, she was upset when I told her that I was not happy for the second time, she literally told me to that she needed to turn the chair for next customer though the time was not up yet, she opened the door! I've always had issues with my eyebrows but not anymore! I went to studio sage to get my eyebrows microbladed by Maranda Brown and my brows are better than ever. Of course I was super skeptical because it is semi permanent and I don't handle pain very well but Maranda was phenomenal. My eyebrows are so natural looking and she checked on me the entire time to make sure I was feeling ok. I save at least ten minutes a day not having to fill them in which is life changing, ten more minutes of sleep! read more
