Every single person from sales person to management to delivery folks was a pleasure to deal with. I've been waiting for a mattress and sleep like this for years -- I've been called the princess and the pea. Well, finally the princess has the mattress of her dreams! Thanks, Norwalk Mattress!

It wasn't an easy choice, took…read moreyears to commit but in the end there is no question no price can be put on the quality of one's sleep. These beds deliver and it's obvious in retrospect. How could any store survive on the top of The Avenue in Greenwich for as many years as it has without producing nothing but positive results.

I bought my Duxiana 515 mattress in November of 2014 from Duxiana in Greenwich. As anyone who has…read morebought a mattress before would know the industry can be very confusing and deceiving. I was hoping that stepping into this realm of mattress would be different and provide a more transparent sales process. I became interested in Duxiana after having issues with sleeping hot and beds that retained too much heat. I spoke with the manager of the store who assured me that this bed would not do that because it is made from all natural materials and therefore it "breathes". I spent $12,000 buying a king size mattress believing the idea that what you pay for is what you get and therefore in theory a more expensive mattress should be a better mattress and therefore provide a better nights sleep. Buying this mattress was the WORST purchase that I have ever made. The 2 inch thick piece of "latex" foam absorbs so much heat that I have to get up in the middle of the night to allow the bed to cool down. The bed is incredibly bouncy so anytime your partner moves you will feel it. Almost like a water bed. My wife and I both feel like we have trouble falling back to sleep after being woken up with more difficulty in this bed then any other. My advice to anyone considering this bed would be to try EVERY other mattress with a comfort guarantee first. In an industry selling comfort, Duxiana is one of the only manufacturers that does not provide a comfort guaranty. After buying the mattress and having so many issues with it I called the company and got directed to the CEO. I offered to pay a restocking fee to have the mattress returned. I was told that they don't guarantee comfort and that you can't please everyone but "most" people like it so they are ok with that. The owner of the Greenwich Store (more on that in a minute) "tried" to help but ultimately did not provide any refund and I am still out all the money I spent and I am currently shopping for a new mattress. Also, I would be remiss if I didn't mention some things I learned about the company during this whole process. First, I believed from the website and the way the company presents itself that the company owns all of its stores. This is not true. The Greenwich store is basically a privately owned small business which sells Duxiana beds. This is important to note for 2 reasons. One is that any promotions furnished by the stores are not cross honored so if you receive a merchandise credit while purchasing your bed you cannot use it at other stores. The other is that if you have a problem with your bed the company directs you to deal with the store owner. I felt comfortable with this purchase because I felt like I was dealing with a large company who would "make it right" if something was wrong. Also, if you plan on staying in a hotel which happens to use Duxiana beds in their rooms you should know that the beds in the rooms are not sold in stores. They are a bed produced for the hotel industry and therefore not entirely representative of the bed you will be buying in your home. In short there is absolutely no way to tell if you will like this bed and nothing you can do about it if you dont; well, except lose $12,000. Take my advice. Look elsewhere.

Two guys in a beat-up truck, without SN uniforms, brought in part of my new bed, then removed the old bed, and said they didn't have all the parts for the new bed. They said they would come back in half an hour. They never came back, and, I spent the rest of the day on the phone with SN customer service - which is a unique kind of suffering. I was told that I couldn't have my old bed brought back, and that the delivery men could not deliver the rest of my new bed today, and that sleep number had made an appointment for me to receive the rest of my bed - and have it put together - in a week. Also, not one person at SN could get in contact with the delivery company. I now have no bed in my house. Zero. Beds. I believe the delivery team lied to me and the customer service team abused me. One (of multiple) SN employees I spoke with today encouraged me to sue the company. This is a terrible company. UPDATE: After fighting on the phone for the rest of the day and evening, calling SN general counsel in Minneapolis and speaking with his secretary, and filing a complaint with the CT AG for violation of CUTPA, the delivery company came back and delivered the rest of the bed shortly before 8:00 p.m. Never again.
