New cafe. Cafe by day and cocktails at night. Sleek decor. Friendly staff. Interesting flavors for drinks and waffles. We both enjoyed our waffles though I wish I had a bit of gochujang sauce for the Seoul Waffle. Found the latte flavors to be on the subtle side. Going to try some more coffee and a matcha next time to see if I can get more of a feel of their flavor profile.

Came to check out the new coffee shop in bburg. It's beautiful inside. They were sadly out of the waffles. It was after 2pm. The lady said they typically have been selling out anytime after noon. Noted! I really want to try them. I got the burnt amber coffee though and it was good. Nice vibes. I'll be back to try the waffle hopefully!

The liege waffle and banana miso latte

Very cute place but the menu is a little expensive. I did have a wonderful waffle called The Liege that was suggested by the barista. My drink (Banana Miso) was okay I didn't really taste the banana which is why I ordered it. I can see this place being really nice in the evening as they have a lot of low lights and a full bar as well. They have a nice size patio space that has a lot of potential. Inside area is small and intimate.

Checked out the newest coffee shop in Brownsburg this morning, Tempest. They are still in the soft opening phase, with the grand opening being held tomorrow! Tempest in located under the Arbuckle Apartments, which makes for a great location for their residents. I popped in around 7am and there were a few customers already there. I was greeted by Caleb, who helped me narrow my drink decision down. I was torn between the Vanilla Toast and Burnt Amber. I landed on the Burnt Amber. Thanks, Caleb, for explaining the selections and their ingredients! I was also excited to try a waffle, however, Caleb informed me the chef on duty had a family emergency so food wasn't being served at the moment. I could've taken my coffee to go, but I decided to stay and get a bit work done + enjoy my coffee. Several more customers popped in while I was there which is always a good sign! Tempest is a cozy chic atmosphere which makes for a great place to hang out with friends or have a cute coffee date. Tempest will turn into a lounge vibe after 5 or 6pm, serving cocktails. Caleb told me the bartender is coming from Nashville, TN... so you know what that means... He's seasoned! LOL. Overall, my first experience at Tempest was great! My coffee was tasty, staff was friendly, and I look forward to trying the other coffee selections on the menu + the cocktails. P.S. They do not offer cold foam. I was a little bummed to hear this, but didn't impact my overall rating.

Tempest Artisan Coffee Bar has an amazing vibe! This isn't your average coffee shop, they serve handcrafted coffee, cocktails, Liège waffles, and even have live music, making it the perfect place to relax any time of day. The combination of coffee by day and cocktails by night makes this a great place to visit anytime of day. The iced vanilla toast latte was amazing.

I had the espresso which was perfect. Husband had a martini coffee. Presentation was beautiful and the decor was very warm cozy and intimate. The employees were all very friendly and polite. Love the place and love the hours. Finally a place to go late at night without a sport bar feel. This is wonderful

I live only a few minutes from this location and it's been long overdue for a visit…read more We arrived around 9am and there was only one person in front of us. There was one employee working and he greeted us right away. The place was clean and bright and has ample indoor seating. There is also a big parking lot in the back. It was hard deciding what to get but ended up with the Blue Lagoon and Full Moon. They were both very pretty with all the colors and toppings. My daughter enjoyed her Blue Lagoon but if she was to order it again she would replace the chia seeds with granola. I liked the Full Moon, I was worried the nutty flavor would overpower the bowl however it was just right. There was a lot going on with the textures and flavors but it was really good. My only gripe was the cost, a regular bowl was $11.50, I felt like $9 would be more reasonably priced.

I was hungry, so I also ordered the bruschetta avocado toast. The balsamic glaze was a little too strong and overall the dish lacked flavor, something a dash of some sort of seasoning/salt could fix. Upon recommendation, i decided on the nutty butty. It was delicious providing a great choice for someone looking for a healthier option but also craves something that's a little sweet. I will most definitely be returning for another... and eventually I'll branch out and try some of the other bowls and smoothie options lol

There were a lot of different style seating options, so we picked outside. Got the cold brew flight, which today was cereal flavors. I was skeptical because I don't love super sweet coffees, but they were all delicious. The shop did a nice job of balancing recognizable flavors with coffee and not being over powered on the sugar. I also got the Som In Law sandwich, which is egg, chorizo and some other delicious things on an Asiago bagel. It was warm, crispy on the outside, perfect chewy on the inside of the bagel. The bagel to topping ratio was solid. It was a great savory treat to go with my coffee. Overall an awesome stop for a lunch hang out. Will definitely be back.

The young man who waited on me was extremely busy and pleasant at the same time. I love to see people actually working versus taking forever to make drinks because they are catching up on what's going on outside of work. Everyone meshed well together. There are seats available inside and outside if you want to stay around and drink your beverage or eat your food. Will I be back? Probably! Is it worth trying? Yes!

The inside is decorated super cute and has a couple of rooms with seating, so a small group of people can still have lunch together despite the small space. You order at the counter, but then everything after that is table service unless you want to order more food or drinks. They have a drink/dessert case near the register that had some tasty looking dessert options (lemon cake, matcha cheesecake, beignets, macarons), but I didn't try any during my visit. I ordered a 24oz iced banana bread latte with almond milk, a turkey and gouda toastie (a fancy grilled cheese), and a side of kettle chips. One friend also ordered the turkey and gouda with extra turkey and our other friend ordered a different toastie with a cup of tomato soup and a sweet tea. We all really loved our lunch, with one friend saying she liked her sandwich more than the last cafe spot we met up at. The food took longer than I would have thought to come out, but it was because the group next to us had ordered food right before we came in and we hadn't realized. They also forgot my side of kettle chips, but I just walked back up to the register to ask them for it. Loved that they offer a 24oz size for iced coffee, so I'll definitely be stopping in here again soon! They have order forms at the register to build your own charcuterie board to eat there or take to-go. I definitely want to come back to do that- it would be the perfect snack to have at a park picnic. The group next to us had all ordered small charcuterie boards, which was why the food took a little longer to come out. They all looked tasty and were the perfect size for one.
