A Salt Cave in Temecula, count me in! It is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. When I walked in, I was greeted and was given a tour of the space. They have multiple rooms filled with Himalayan salt; before entering each room shoes must be removed and they have socks available (for those wanting some warmth and or simply something to cover their feet). They offer sound baths, yoga in the salt, and children can visit so as to get healing/benefits as well. I first removed my shoes before entering and then selected an Iwatch for some cool tunes to listen to during my visit. They even have disposable ear muffs to protect ears from person to person. As I entered there were plenty of chairs in the large community room which was nice because I spent an whole hour in there. First time here and we came with a large group of 13 adults who were moms that brought their kids to experience a beautiful holistic evening for 1 hour in the Salt Community Cave. We booked in advanced a week ago and informed the Owner of our large party and children. The website said kid friendly so we thought it would be a pleasant experience overall. There were 12 chairs available, a gong in the room, lockers (for shoes, food, & drinks not allowed inside), & restrooms for guests. However, the overall verdict was that most of us would not return. We were told 3 times that we were being too loud and to have our kids quiet down because there was a massage occurring next door. We were all excited for this experience but it was overshadowed by how unwelcomed we felt. We felt a little rushed out. Additionally this review is an overview of the individual experiences each mom or groups of moms had when they walked in as some of us arrived later. The way certain comments were made and the tone that was used is what made us uncomfortable. The concept is nice but it was not toddler friendly- perhaps a good space to consider for just teens and adults as it was really hard and not relaxing to try to keep a large group of little kids quiet. read more

Located in Temecula. I love this place! Come here if you want a space to relax and meditate. Why else come? If you have respiratory problems, eczema or psoriasis, it should help. I'm not going to name all respiratory ailments, but for me I started to get a constant frog in my throat for the last 2 years. It's a constant phlegm blockage, possibly post-nasal drip per my doctor, and after 3 visits and perhaps a 4th, I don't think it will be solved by medications and nasal sprays. I came here for a 45 minute session, and my throat was clear for about 3 days. That means I need to come every few days, or at least every week at minimum. It's an ancient medical magic that was forgotten. The place is clean, staff was super friendly. You sit in a padded lawn chair and listen to meditation music of your choice, as the star-lit ceiling, and salt lamps are synchronized to change colors, slowly. I recommend wearing light sweatshirt/sweatpants, maybe light fleece if you get cold easily, as the room is 71F, but it felt colder than that to me. Blankets are provided. If you are purchasing the infrared panel to bring in, you may want to wear less clothes, like a bikini so you can put the red lights on your thighs, stomach, chest, etc. I prefer laying on the floor rather than sit on the chair, as I sit too much for work and want to stretch out my back. There are several salt rooms in the area, and this place is not the cheapest. Cost was around $44 for a 45 minute halotherapy session. But it's worth it, and the ambience for relaxation and medication is top notch. You may have to book 1 day in advance on their website. Other things are offered as well: massages, sound baths, aura readings, tarot card readings, full moon ceremony, energy healing, red light therapy (small panel in salt room, or large panel in another room). I feel like I'm in Sedona in SoCal. It's easy to find and there is lots of parking. read more

We went for the soft opening and I cannot wait to see how it is when it is officially open and ready! The salt room is amazingly relaxing and I could've been there all day. I felt rejuvenated after laying on an anti gravity chair while the halo fans were on. You really can feel the difference from before you go in to afterwards. My bestie was in a TERRIBLE mood coming into the salt room, but after being in there and just deep breathing and relaxing, she felt the complete opposite. She felt relaxed and happy despite the stressful morning she had prior. She was iffy about going to the experience, but she was so happy afterwards and asked me when we will go again. We also got to experience Vanessa, the massage therapist, and she has this comforting personality that is just so welcoming when you walk in. She really pays attention to what you need worked on as well as using her own intuition as she massages. They also have a something called Pandora therapy in one of the salt rooms. Spectacular. I love self care AND I have a definite fear of small spaces. Other locations have a single room, or a little mobile unit and I just cannot be still inside. I made a reservation for the large group room and LOVE the size of the room. There are zero gravity chairs OR you can lay directly in the coarse salt floor. We were greeted with grounded cheer and were shown how to use all the equipment for our stay (headphones with hygenic covers, MP3 players with pre programmed nature sounds, lockers for our personal belongings). Our 45 minute reservation FLEW by. I loved it! We also got a tour of the other rooms avaiable for rent AND a descirption of HOW the Halo Generator works (the machine that release salt into the AIR). Everything is lovely. Easy parking out front in a huge shared lot. Easy to make reservations online. We want to come next time for the smaller salt room with our Kids and Dog! I had a great experience here! I did the Pandora starlight therapy. Wow! I'm not too familiar with all the chakras so when I got out, they really helped me understand what the colors meant. Next I went for a Reiki reading. She was super spot on. She made me feel really comfortable. The things we talked about helped me with the path to my new adventure as well as gave me direction. My husband had a tarot card reading. He's been seeking a new business venture. He walked away with the security he needed to keep moving forward with it. He also did the salt cave. I'll be honest, I wasn't sure how "healing" it would be and I grew up with an aunt that said "the ocean cures everything". However, this has changed my mind. My husband was drained of energy due to having some friends in town for a week. The visit consisted of some drinking and eating rich, indulgent foods. No joke, he came out of there with a pep in his step. He kept going on and on about how great his skin felt with the added benefit of a good night sleep. Such a beautiful and serene salt spa, quietly tucked away in the heart of Temecula. I tried a little bit of everything during my visit, with my favorite being the large salt room experience. The interior is absolutely jaw-dropping when you step inside. There's pink Himalayan salt from floor to ceiling, featuring a large beautiful salt rock wall installation and sand-like salt pebbles that cover the floor. I really enjoyed the sound bath experience, it was my first time doing a sound bath and I would highly recommend! I also did a tarot reading and mini reiki session with Paula, and my goodness was she spot on! Paula truly blew my mind in the accuracy and detail that she was able to conjure up without me telling her anything initially. She answered a lot of questions that I've been seeking guidance on. I am definitely going to be coming back to the Salt Cave to give Paula another visit, along with booking some more salty sessions :) read more
