Ashley absolutely kicked my ass - in the best way possible. I'm completely new to yoga, and this was my first-ever class at a studio. My boyfriend, on the other hand, practices daily. We were in Temecula for his birthday getaway, and as part of his gift, I signed us both up for a class. That day, Ashley happened to be teaching. The moment she walked into the studio, she immediately recognized that we were new and came over to introduce herself. She remembered our names and even called on us during class to offer both corrections and encouragement, which I really appreciated. Her instruction was incredible. I had no clue what any of the poses or stretches were called, but she described everything so clearly that I never felt lost. Her feedback was thoughtful, helping me adjust for better stability and effectiveness. By the end of class, I was drenched in sweat and felt amazing - physically challenged, mentally clear, and completely present. For that hour, all my stress and worries faded into the background. I only wish I lived closer because I'd absolutely become a regular. The community was welcoming, the teaching was top-notch, and the entire experience was fantastic. Ive been coming here for over 15 years off and on due to injuries, life etc. but I know that when I'm truly happy and feeling balanced it is because I am there practicing consistently . Every teacher is amazing and there are classes for people of all levels. As I'm recovering from cancer treatment and still taking oral chemo, my favorite classes are gentle yoga and happy hips. Bautista has classes for fascia stretching that are so beneficial. They are not your typical yoga class but you will benefit tremendously. Instructors are beyond knowledgeable. Doreen is amazing and helps with alignment and safe practices. Danny plays his music and his classes are entertaining and fun and give you a sense of community. Chuck teaches the gently yoga and this I'm has been my go to while I'm recovering and when I need a good practice at a slower pace. They have workshops and events to attend. Bautista also does facials there which are the best facials I've ever had with clean products. They also offer massage with certified chiropractor. And there is now an infrared sauna. If you are looking for a place to start your yoga journey or continued an advanced practice, this is where they make you feel as if you've always belonged. I highly recommend coming and trying a few classes to find your place here at TYC. I love them all here and I'm so appreciative of theirknowledge and all the support they have given me while I go through my treatments. Unlimited package for the first month proved to be a waste of money for me since most classes I wanted to attend were either too early in the morning (I work during the day) or too late at night (I have a life). Given that Temecula is a suburban, middle-class town, I didn't have that much expectations for the Temecula Yoga Collective. However, when I took my first class, I was very impressed with the quality of instruction and level of difficulty. The instructors here really know their stuff, are extremely well-practiced, and have been taught by really good teachers. More advanced classes break down postures to their students so you get a workshop experience. Personally I think that's great because it allows students to advance in their practice and challenge themselves. The precision and great detail in the instruction clearly shows among the students who practice here. I was impressed that many of the students were relatively advanced and they were all passionate about yoga. There are two small studio spaces which are separated by a wooden partition. This partition is taken down to accommodate larger classes or workshops. Most class sizes tend to run between 6-10 students. Interior of the lobby is very pretty and you can purchase yoga supplies as well as crafts from local Temeculans. There are TONS of Manduka mats (a mat I highly recommend to any serious yogi/yogini); it's also the only studio I've ever been to that sells Yogi Toe Socks (lol). Their bathroom is located in the second studio space only but it is super clean and very nice. Their unlimited monthly is somwhat pricey ($120 a month), but you are paying for good quality yoga. If you are a newbie, take advantage of their 5 class pass for $30. Most classes are Hatha/Vinyasa type, but there are other class offerings like Kundalini, Pilates, and Restorative/MELT. I don't do Kundalini and Pilates but it's nice that a studio offers these classes for practitioners who do. All in all, I definitely recommend practicing here if you are interested in yoga and/or if you are a serious practitioner who wants to take your yoga to a new level. Brand new beginners or under 18? You are welcome, too! They've got workshops for kids and beginners, which are very reasonably priced. However, this is definitely not for corporate yoga practitioners who only like to do hot yoga. You may be disappointed. The teachers and students are super nice and the yoga is fantastic. This will be my new studio every time I visit my family. :) read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. Danny has been doing yoga therapy with our family for years. He's taught my son life long emotion regulating skills he will carry through life. My husband recently went to yoga therapy on Wednesday and it might sound dramatic but it changed his life. He was so inspired by it he's been talking about it all week and how healing it was. I have been attending yoga classes here for about eight months and it changed my life! I had a hard time finding a studio in OC that was spiritually connected in a way I needed. I tried out a class here one afternoon. Not anything to rave about. I was so excited since all the reviews were great, but I've been to better studios out there. The people at the front desk were not even welcoming at all. First impression is the most important for me. Since I am currently working on my 300RYT, The class itself was very basic for me. I kept wanting more, but it seem less than I really wanted. The instructor wasn't even yoga certified either. She was self taught, as some are. But I prefer to have someone with the experience and the training background too. Last thing I need is to hurt myself in yoga. Overall, the experience wasn't something I would rave about. Maybe they need to work on smiling more and hiring instructors who are certified. read more

I really enjoyed my beginner class with Enicia. She took her time to show me exactly how to do the poses. I've had many yoga teachers and I never knew I was doing some poses totally wrong. She was very welcoming and I was totally comfortable even though I'm not in the best shape. I feel so much better when I do yoga. The studio was nice and clean and warm. We were in Temecula for a weekend of R&R and wine and decided to do a drop in class. It was an intermediate class early on a Sunday, I was really happy with the experience. Drop in was $15, the class was really challenging and had some poses I had never done before. The teacher was really supportive and the class was small, maybe 6 people total. This is a good studio for kids and adults. My 7 year old son loves the kids class. They learn yoga poses, mindfulness, meditation, and discuss topics and do a craft around that topic. He enjoys it a lot. I have been doing the adult class at the same time and have liked it. I've never been a fan of yoga but since I was having my son try it I figured I needed to too. It has been a very different experience for me, in a good way. The stretching I get is amazing and I leave the class feeling really good. I'm receiving a 2nd kidney transplant in hopefully a few months. Temecula Yoga Studio has helped me more in 2 months then any doctor has in the 15 years I've been sick with Lupus!!! I'm extremely spiritual and they literally have classes for everyone. The energy is amazing. The people rock and I honestly just want to be here all day!!! I'm so grateful to have TYC to come to to help me grow. I suffer from severe anxiety disorder as well and this has practically made it almost none-existent. They even have classes for kids that you can take your children to, drop them in their class, and then take a class yourself in the second room while they are doing their class...brilliant idea!! I first came to the studio Fall of 2015 for the Intro to Meditation course with David. I absolutely loved it, and the studio. It's not huge but very inviting. David was super knowledgable! Both friendly & insightful, he gave me a great base for a home practice, it was really an awesome experience. After that I decided to try the Intro to Yoga with Bautista, which again exceeded my expectations. What a vibrant, sweet, & caring teacher! Always looking to help each student where they need it, pushing your limits but conscious of not over doing it. I've also attended the $5 power hour with both Bautista and Danny, it is definitely a work out!!! A much faster flow than the course, but so much fun. Was my first time to the collective and I am truly impressed with the overwhelming support I felt in the Prenatal Yoga. The studio is warm and inviting with lots of goodies for sale from essential oils to yoga pants and even kombucha ! The actual practice room is dimly lit with tons of equipment to choose from to make the experience as comfortable as possible. Jamie did a fantastic job of guiding the class through a perfect yoga session , she also stuck around after class to chat with for any questions and concerns, she is a mother as well so it the vibe is very genuine :) I feel eons better after going, and there is a great first time sign up fee for 30 dollars for 5 class, what a deal ! This yoga studio may be new to the area, but the instructors have taught regular classes, workshops, special events, teacher training, etc. in the area for the past ten years or more, teaching in other studios, gyms, etc. until several joined together to form this new Collective which I feel has some of the best instructors in the area. I have personally been the student of three of the regular instructors for well over 10 years and this has kept this 77 year old body moving. The classes are offered at all levels, the atmosphere is caring, the spirit of community makes it a welcoming place to learn and practice, and the level of experience and training of the instructors have made them sought after in this area for years now. I feel safe in this environment, am challenged but at the same time am encouraged to listen to my body, to be aware, and I know that if I am asked to try something new the instructor knows it is something I am ready to try. The Intro class offered here is one of the best ways to begin the study of yoga, Ashley Fiala and Elissa Marshall will give you the foundation you need to move on into the more advanced classes. There are also special pricing for classes for those "shopping" for a yoga studio, and pricing that will appeal to those who want a regular practice with a wide variety of choices and the opportunity to grow and expand their practice.
