I'm staying in Temecula for a while so I needed to find the library. Long Beach is too far to go for a library, especially how often I go so I needed to find out where one was. A quick search found this one. Good rating and about 4 miles away from where I'm staying. Yay!! So I head over. I found a parking spot but there was a jerk in the parking lot who made annoying. He was a little punk, surprised he was old enough to drive. Apparently he was going into one of the community rooms for something and decided to wait in his car. Not so bad except he got in the back seat on the passenger side of his car and stuck his door into the open spot next to him. He refused to let anyone park and kept it there. Someone even asked to park there and he told them to F off (I was behind the lady that asked so I heard every word). Other then that the experience I had was nice. It was a huge, nice library. A lot to take in the first time (maybe even after that). I needed a card because I have never had one in Temecula or the county. I get it done and everyone was very nice and helpful. The lady chatted with me while she was getting my information in and answered me questions. She gave me a good rundown of the policies on renewals and what they offer. I went to look up a book I wanted today but they didnt have it. I asked a lady because I couldnt tell if they had it in or not and she was very nice and helpful. Explained how the readout worked and everything. I put a request in to get it. She said usually 2-5 days but with Christmas I was probably going to have to wait longer. Understandable. The hours are AMAZING! They close earlier on the weekends, but for weekdays stay open until 10! And they are open everyday! That is way better then Long Beach after our budget cuts. Tons of computers for public use that you can use for an hour a day. Not something I need right now, but good to know! Then the card catalog computers you can use as much as you like. It's quiet and a very nice, friendly environment. I would completely recommend. I can see myself getting lots of enjoyment out of this library :) read more

Has one of the best locations in temecula. You see it from the park below and marvel at the lovely building. Staff is welcoming and will answer any questions that may come their way. Easy to find what you're looking for if you're familiar with any bookstore or library layout. Clean and quiet. Exactly what you'd expect for a library. read more

Wow, I wasn't expecting this place to be so nice. It's very spacious and has a lot of different rooms for whatever you need to do your studying and has plenty of computers. The librarians are also very informative. I had gone to do some research on my family and it's nice that they have a whole section/nook that's dedicated to genealogy. They also hold 2 classes a month and from what the flyer says, the instuctors help you with things that you can't find. If you need the computers in the genealogy section, you can chance it and head to the library to see if anyone is using it or you can reserve it online and have for a timed 2 hours. read more

I really love this library. There are a lot of places to read... There are a bunch of really comfortable chairs facing floor to ceiling window that have a great view to the north over the sports park. The children's section is also pretty good and the staff is very patient and helpful. read more

As far as libraries go, the Temecula Public Library is one of the best I've seen. It is new. It has several FREE internet terminals. You are allowed to bring in water or snacks. And there are several comfortable chairs to just kick back and browse. The view of the surrounding hills and valley is awesome. read more

This library is a great place to relax, read, net surf, snooze, study..... Seems kind of like a no brainer for a library, but this place does it all really well. Brand new facilities with a great view make for a great experience. The outdoor area is especially nice. 20-30 free computer terminals. Wi-Fi 24/7 (yes, 24/7) but filtered and barely accessible from the parking lot. Study rooms are only available 2 hours per day per person. Nice CD and DVD collection. The children's area looks like it's a lot of fun for the kids. read more

Been going off and on, always a good experience! When it gets busy, most of the seats are taken, unless you're ok to share a table on a 2-person space. Pretty quiet the farther you are from the kids section. Haven't checked out a book, so I don't have an ID yet, but they seem to be helpful to the other patrons. And there's lots of outlets to plug in your devices...So yah, I vote yes! read more

Beautiful library. This 1 star is for the staff. They are rude and treat people like trash most of the time. If you make one mistake like forget your card or have your books held at the wrong library, believe me you will get an earful. read more

Just visiting in the area for clinical rotations, but this so happens to be the best public library that I have been to. Aside from the noisiness from the kid's area (what do you expect?). It's beautiful and well kept, the views at the tables next to the windows are peaceful and soothing especially when you are cooped up studying all day. I'm very pleased; especially with the fact that they offer FREE parking and there's no time limit for WiFi accessibility. Definitely spending the rest of my study days here while im out in Temecula read more

Love the ambiance of the overall library. The space between patrons at the PC stations are A-Ok! By the way, can't forget the un-amazing staff, excluding about one team member. The team from front to back is simply un-amazing every single time we visit. They go out of their way to be extremely un-helpful, un-personable, and un-courteous each and every time! Although, we've seen better book selection and parking at other nearby libraries we give this library an easy one out of five!! You want below the bar experience and pure shallowness at least from the staff, not the dwelling itself, come here! This is just what we have observed from afar, each and every time, someone is waiting, whining, and wondering... always leaves us a little concerned. I'm at the library right now. Got away from my house because its quite noisy when my little niece and nephew are around. Came here and its not even that quiet like all if the other libraries i have been. BY FAR THR NOISIEST LIBRARY EVER! Do better! Please! read more

Has beautiful views great children section, knowledgable staff, self check outs available and the best part is they are open 7 days a week!

Awesome library! I come here every weekend to check out, turn in or just peruse all of the different reading materials. They have a really great children's area (which, being a teacher, I always notice) full of creative and ever-changing displays. They even have computers that seem to have reading programs on them for the kids to use. What I like most about this library, though, is that you can order a book from any branch in the Riverside County and pick it up here. Maybe all libraries do this--I don't know, but I like having such an extensive selection of books at my fingertips. They also have a really great website where you can search for books, place them on hold, renew them or even pay your overdue charges. In a nutshell, it rocks. read more

This library is just gorgeous! The facility is comfortable and modern but also very popular. They need to get a parking solution as there are times you can drive around forever looking for a spot. The childrens library and programs are great and again very popular. I think we probably need another library as beautiful as this one to alleviate some of the over-crowding. read more

They loose books you turn in so you have to pay for them plus an extra fee. Then whe. They when they find them getting refunded is a hassle. The kids section has computers with fun images right when you walk in so all your kids wants to do when they walk in is play on the computer or complain that they can't. Also, I always have to clean the books we check out (probably speaks more about patrons). read more

This is one of the nicest library I've been too. I'm willing to drive passed two or three other libraries on my route just to use this location. It's newer, spacious, and I love all of the windows and especially the view. read more

This is a nice and clean new library that has many books and computers and comfortable places to study. Highly recommended for locals. The free Wi-Fi is a great addition, and if you forgot your wireless device they offer public computers that you can log onto for two hours at a time. read more

I recently moved to Temecula. I relocated here from a small town where the library is functional but small and outdated. I, for one, delight in the abundance of reading materials and computers, the floor-to-ceiling windows that afford so much natural light and lovely views, the clean and spacious facilities, the online opportunities.......the career center, Mango, etc. The children's section is impressive too, as are the ongoing events /activities. I am also a big fan of the online renewal and request options available. Time and resources can be maximized using these services! read more

Oh my was I glad to spend my day here. This is a beautiful and large library. The views from the north side of the building almost make it hard to read! I must be lucky cause almost every place I have visited in this town since I have moved has just simply alleviated any anxiety I've had. I noticed private study rooms were available which is convenient, the staff was nice and attaining a card was simple and fast. I can't wait to take my little one to the children's section! read more

The Temecula Valley Computer User Group meets there on the first Saturday of each month at 10:15 a.m. Each month they have a special speaker to cover varies topics. I was looking for a new study spot and unfortunately this wont be the place due to a few reasons. Even though its a library, nobody makes sure it actually stays QUIET. It is very noisy and distracting with constant chattering and children everywhere. The staff that rents out the study rooms are very unwelcoming. You can only use the study rooms once a day for 2 hours, even if no one else wants to use them. The only nice thing about this library is that it is clean and the grounds are lovely as others have mentioned. If you're looking for a serious place to study, I would not recommend here. read more

I like this library because it doesn't feel old and it's pretty clean. By far the noisiest library I've ever been to. It sounds like you're at a daycare with kids screaming and crying. Even when I'm the furthest away from the kids section, I can hear the noise so if you want to do some quiet reading here, don't count on it. read more

We have spent countless hours here. It is hard to get a computer unless you're there in the first 30 minutes of it opening. The selection is pretty good, especially the magazines and children's books. I wish there were more up-to-date non-fiction books though. 20 year-old medical books are completely irrelevant. The shop is nice but has short hours. Take cash! read more

Love this place for studying. The study room policy is odd but overall great environment.

Children's section is great, books, some toys, story time, computers, and the libertarians are nice! Facebook page is updated pretty regularly too. And lastly- this is big ---- it doesn't smell funky like the library up north. read more

Parking usually seems to be a bit of a pain. However, the staff seems friendly and ready to assist. Also, there is usually a good number of computers available to use, as well as a nice quiet room for reflection. read more
