Therapy dogs for kids to read to
    McHank M.

Truly, this is my favorite place in town. I do love being here, it's a wonderful environment, they have classes, they have therapy dogs come in so kids can read to them, they have special events above and beyond what they need to. For a while they had a program where you could even order a book from Amazon! Okay that's all the stuff on top of it just being a top tier library. I think my favorite part about this place is that they have a library of things- need help with your phone? They've got you. Need a pack of multiple copies of a book for your book club? They've got you. Wanna see how you'd be at electric guitar? They have one with an amplifier for you. Check out a drum kit while you're there too! Additionally they have a seed library, make your garden! There's so much more. Go visit!

OMG, I couldn't LOVE a place more. Our library has the best books, can easily order from other libraries if they don't have what you want, and they actively help track if any issues come up. THEY GIVE AWAY AWESOME GOODY BAGS ALL THE TIME FOR NO REASON! - Including a recent Unstress Package; deluxe. THEY GIVE AWESOME FREE CLASSES FOR ADULTS! -- Including a recent Watercolor Painting Class that changed my life. THEY HAVE A FUNTASTIC SEED LIBRARY -- to help with gardening. They give away books every year at the end of the Summer Reading program -- just for reading! This place is the bomb, and a TRUE GEM of our community. The people are great. I love it with all my heart.

So I have been previously here but not to study. I have stuff to print and staff were helpful. That is not the same case when you're trying to get work done and study. I was meeting with a friend to study. I got there around 1:45 and she was there since 12. She was in the study rooms and its reserved for 2 hours. So when I got there, I joined her, for 15 minutes until the librarian guy came and asked us to empty the room since there was another person waiting for the room. So then I went and asked him if I could get another room with my library card since I was not with my friend the whole time and If I knew that was the case, I wouldn't even have bothered to sit for 15 minutes, I would have waited until her time was up so I could get a room. He refused! he said that I have to check with him in an hour. It wasn't even 20 minutes later, the second study room was empty.... After we left the study room, i went to the Heritage room that is suppose to be quiet area. Sure is quiet in the room, there are tables out by that room and there were some teachers/tutors that were being loud. So I could not study in the heritage room because the internet sucks!!! so I thought if I sit outside that room, it would be better I would have wifi according to the guy who works at the reference desk... well wifi does not work not in the heritage room, not outside that area. people are loud there. It doesnt even seem like its a library. I was annoyed that I could not get any work done because I was trying to use google docs and I cant even type anything since the internet kept disconnecting and my Mac charge was dying.... So I go again to the front desk guy and ask him. He tell me " maybe there is an issue with your device" NO my Mac and phone are brand new! there is nothing wrong with them. I go to Temecula public Library and they work perfectly. I was annoyed that I was sitting there over an hour and didnt get much done... I asked to speak to a supervisor. She tells me that she never got any complains when my friend had complained previously about the wifi... She also said there are other libraries in the area that I can go to... thats very welcoming message to never go there again!! very frustrated with their service and how they handle things. Its a library the least they can have is wifi since people go there to do work... I took a picture of the network and how it kept reconnecting! Basically the whole time I was there since I left the study room

The selection is adequte and the convenience of a state-of-the-art facility is a big plus. Parking is never a hassle here either. There are dozens of magazines to peruse and the Non-fiction History section came in handy for my final research project. I know libraries are old school with the internet providing so much information at your fingertips. But a lot can be said about the satisfaction of doing your own research. Free wifi and clean restrooms are other prominent features here as well. Micro-fiche anyone...

I'm not in the same spot often by when I am I snap a pic. This bis a view from where I read Smithsonian Mag. Thank you

The staff was friendly and helpful when it came to paying my late fee and charging me for another library card. There're study rooms, a computer lounge, open seating in a quiet environment that help promote what ever you may be schooling yourself in. I wounded what Temecula's library has to offer...

Best local library! There is even a seed library if you're into gardening. The children's section is wonderful

Ask the Community - Murrieta Public Library

Does the library accept children's movies in VHS format?

Hello! The Library does not accept VHS donations. Check with the Friends of the Murrieta Library at https://murrietalibraryfriends.org/ for bookstores and donations.

What do each of the terms for the request status mean? One of my books is "shipped", a term not provided on the given bank and I don't wish to be fined.

Shipped means it's on the way to the Library and Held means ready for pickup. Once items are ready for pickup the patron will be notified via phone, email, or text depending on how the patron set up notifications when receiving their Library Card.

That just seemed incredibly wasteful. Beautiful library and nice activities.

We attended the "animal talk" with guests LLC Reptile this month and the employee refused to use a microphone for over half an hour because he legit said "he's never used one before and didn't know how it worked" and with way too many kids and parents packed in that room, you couldn't hear anything. Library employees let it get out of hand, let children stand up so everyone behind them couldn't see and just couldn't control the noise level. It wasn't a fun experience and my kids begged to go half way through because it was just talking and barely any interaction. This is just feedback that you can hopefully take to improve on your next event. PLEASE think about passing out tickets (like the other locations) to control how many people can enter. We were there waiting 30 minutes prior, reading inside and we were almost the last ones in because we didn't know a mob had already formed blocking the entire entrance. The sad part was your entire parking lot was packed and vehicles were parked up and down the street for this event and all I heard were kids and parents complaining that they couldn't see/hear anything. We've also been to a craft day where because we sat at a back table, they ran out of the craft before they got to us which is strange since there weren't that many people there. Again, think about being more prepared or just limit how many people can join an event so everyone can have fun and feel included.
