I thought public libraries were downtown, but as the directions took me to this wonderfully situated structure with sweeping vistas and commanding views of the valley, especially early sunrise and the hot air balloons rising, I quickly unloved the parking lot, but that's a minor caveat for an otherwise fantastic facility. Run-on, yeah. Inside it's as modern as I've seen. Just the nifty hi-tech book sorting mechanism behind the circulation desk was impressive, and probably very convenient for the librarians assigned to restock books. I found the huge reading area with the panoramic views to be my favorite spot, despite my duties operating an 11-day Vote Center for the county. I took the advice from Katie, a very nice librarian, to have lunch in the little courtyard accessible from the quiet room in back, or the awesome children's area (more on that later). Just don't exit the courtyard from the gate to the outside, and set off the alarm. Yeah, my bad, sorry. Also impressive was the genealogy research room with a selection of reference books and some computers. Many of the staff deserve honorable mention, and I apologize for not remembering everyone's names, but many thanks to Marlo and Ginger. Ginger is the one who brought the children's section up to exceptional specs, and currently manages the entire facility. I also was very appreciative of the vast space alloted for the voting center and the wonderful kitchen area. Thank you everyone!

View from outside... looks small, but it's really big inside!!

My 1st time in here even though the college boy has been coming here the past 6 months. There's a library down the street from our home, but this location opens at 10am on Saturdays so we chose this one (even though it's like 13 miles away). And yes, I spent all day here from 10-5pm!! It's beautifully located right above Ronald Reagan Park. I say this bc the view is breathtaking!! You could see the 15 fwy and most of the Temecula Valley from here. Inside is huuuge.... there is a separate "Children's Library", lots of private study rooms, and also an area where you could eat your snacks (there are 2 vending machines). There are also several computer stations and work tables (if you have your laptop). Convenient outlets to charge your laptop on the floor, usually under the tables. Lots of chairs to sit comfy and read a good book. The bathrooms are clean and roomy with lots of stalls (only bad thing about the bathrooms is that they use prison paper lol). Staff are very nice and helpful. Overall, this is a very nice library and I got a lot done. Highly recommend if you need to get things done (which is my life the next 4 weeks lol). Sorry didn't get to take a lot of pics this time... maybe next week.

My son enjoys coming to this library and so do I. What a great view while doing some reading

May son and I enjoy this library. What a great view to look out at while doing some reading or studying. Makes want to come to the library more often. But they did remove the vending machines which my son enjoyed having a snack after reading for a while. So bring some of your own snacks and water

Definitely more to see then just books

What a Gem! Never have I ever imagined what a wonderful adventure this place would be! I recently started taking my 5 year old and we can not get enough. Books galore marked for appropriate age level and even a little play area. Plenty of computers for her to play educational games. The use of the check in and out system is so cool! I love how there is also an outdoor area for when the weather is warm enough. Greeted with smiles and the workshops got kids are an extra special touch! Thank you for keeping the nostalgic mixed with our new age in this place. When your walking along the sidewalk you'll see the history of Temecula right in front of your path amazing! This place is special and a must go to!

I love love love this library. It really feels like home When I'm here. Very clean, organized, staff are amazing. Atmosphere there makes you want to study and get work done. They have a lot of places for students to study. Private rooms which you can reserve for two hours with your library card. They have the quiet room which has a big table and chairs. I prefer to study where you can see the park and the view. Usually those spots are always filled but you can wait until somebody leaves to get a good spot. Another thing they have which many students can take advantage of is tutoring. They have high school students that do tutoring. So many great things about this library.

I spent many hours observing the patrons and employees, as well as wandering the facility, and these are the results. First, the location is excellent. Not far from the municipal buildings, fairly close to the 91 Freeway, and on the lower edge of the sloping foothills that makes Corona one of the least efficient cities to travel around. Fortunately, the library doesn't share that flaw. Inside is a long hallway lined with the circulation desk and many displays of artwork and Lego models. These are rotating decor, but it's fun to watch kids casting votes for the best item. Another grand hallway joins perpendicular to the main one and this leads to the extensive children's section, and also has passport services and a sizeable Friends of the Library bookstore (separate review for that). Computers, conference rooms, instructional classrooms, and study rooms are available. A couple other favorite areas Include the large boardgame section and Teens area with its impressive selection of Manga anime and studyhall. Even if the same bad middleschool kids got kicked out almost daily for being loud and obnoxious, it was entertaining. A co-worker commented one day after the second or third incident: "There's the instigator, the girl with the red sneakers." Good times. On a personal note, it's nice seeing that some kids still read and enjoy visiting the local library.

The Library makes it very easy to get a library card. You just have to answer some questions, and fill out a few lines on a form and then you have your card. The library has books, movies, magazines, to borrow and there are computers to use and other ways to enjoy media. There is also a puzzle exchange, bring in your old puzzles and take some that are there. There were some conference rooms, looks like they are for meetings or trainings. There was some sort of training room upstairs, looks like they teach people on various topics. The computers to look up books make it very easy to see if they are in stock, if they are reserved, etc. Take down the info where they are located and do a little scavenger hunt to find your item. If you get what you need, you head down to self checkout, scan your library card, put in a pin #, insert the book and the scanner does the rest. You get the book for 3 weeks and can renew that 2 more times if no one has reserved it. There is also a cafe there and I believe a place to watch movies or performances that they have there from time to time. And you can drop off your ballot there too. Pictures attached.
